Description
The present invention relates to a flat wire routing method for forming a flat wire having the same function as a conventional wire harness in a state where a connector is connected to a terminal of a conductor of a flexible wiring board (FPC).
Conventionally, wire harnesses in which electric wires are bundled are used for wiring of automobiles, and wiring and fixing of wire harnesses and electrical connection with various electrical devices and electronic components have been performed in the automobile manufacturer's automobile manufacturing process. However, with the recent development of modularization, for example, it is modularized according to parts such as automobile doors, instrument panels, roofs, etc., and delivered in advance to car manufacturers with necessary parts such as harnesses and various electrical equipments assembled by module manufacturers. It was way. Although the components are the same as described above, a module assembled in advance by a module manufacturer is called a sub-assy type module. With the advent of sub-assy type modules, the number of parts to be assembled on the car body of a car maker has been reduced, and the number of assembly steps has been reduced. Furthermore, in the future, it is predicted that progress will be made to a function-integrated module in which a plurality of components are combined to integrate a plurality of functions, or a function-integrated module having a plurality of functions in one component. Such function-integrated modules and function-integrated modules can be reduced in size and weight by reducing the number of assembly steps at a car manufacturer, and by reducing the number of module components. As a part of the measures, it is considered to be a powerful means that can be realized at the same time as fuel efficiency improvement is very high.
In the progress of modularization described above, it is attempted to reduce the thickness and weight by using an FPC instead of the conventional wire harness. By adopting FPC for the module, in addition to reducing the weight of the wiring material, it is possible to reduce the size and weight of the module main body, so that the needs for applying FPC to the module are extremely high. Before the development of modularization, the wire harness was directly assembled on the vehicle body side, so that the vehicle body is large and a large FPC is required, or the vehicle body side can be designed to have a structure that allows the FPC to be assembled well. Because it was difficult, it was difficult to adopt FPC, but the modularization of each part of the vehicle has made it possible to apply small FPC, and the module side has a structure that allows FPC to be assembled well. Since it can be designed, FPC can be adopted.
In the conventional example, the fixing part of the protective material to the mounted panel is only the outer peripheral portion, and the shape of the mounted panel is not flat, for example, a curved shape such as the back of the instrument panel housing, There is a problem that the following installation is difficult. Further, when the protective material is fixed to the curved surface portion of the panel to be attached, the protective material cannot follow the curved surface shape, which causes inconveniences such as generation of abnormal noise due to vibration, disconnection, and an increase in occupied space. Further, since the protective material is also attached to the mounted panel, one protective material is required for each FPC, and the protective material cannot be reused, resulting in an increase in cost.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a flat wire routing method in which a flat wire made of FPC can be assembled following a curved surface shape, and it is not necessary to fix a protective material to the curved surface portion. And
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a method for attaching and routing a flat wire made of a flexible wiring board to a panel to be mounted. Was formed, and the jig was mounted on the mounted panel with the flat wire received in the groove of the jig, and the flat wire was fixed to the mounted panel with the jig mounted. The jig is removed later.
The present invention relates to a method of attaching and routing a flat wire made of a flexible wiring board to a mounted panel, and a groove for temporarily accommodating the flat wire in a jig having a shape following the three-dimensional shape of the mounted panel. The jig was mounted on the mounted panel with the flat wire contained in the groove of the jig, and the jig was removed after the flat wire was fixed to the mounted panel in the jig mounted state. Therefore, batch wiring of flat wires to the panel to be mounted can be easily performed. In addition, it is possible to follow the curved surface of the mounted panel, and as usual, by fixing a flat tray-shaped protective material to the mounted panel, it is not possible to follow the curved surface, and abnormal noise is generated by vibration. There are no inconveniences such as the occurrence of problems, disconnection, and increased space.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a state in which an instrument panel of an automobile is a mounted
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the
A first embodiment of a method of fixing the
As a second form of fixing method using the
As still another fixing method, a third embodiment in which the
Furthermore, as a fourth embodiment of the method for fixing the
The form relating to the fixing method of the
The fixing
22 and 23, the
