【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明はパチンコ機やアレンジボール機等の弾球遊技機の遊技盤に配設されて遊技盤の盤面に沿って落下する遊技球の落下方向や落下速度を変化させる風車に関する。

【従来の技術】
上記のような弾球遊技機、例えばパチンコ機では、開閉搭載枠をなす前枠に、ガラス扉(ガラス窓ともいう)、上下の球皿、球送り・打球発射装置、そして球貯留・排出処理部を有する裏機構盤等の遊技構成部材がそれぞれ常備され、前枠裏側の収容枠に遊技盤が着脱交換可能にセット保持されている。遊技盤には所要のゲージ設定に基づいて入賞口や風車等の各種遊技部品と多数本の遊技釘とが配置されて遊技領域が構成され、遊技面を前面として収容枠内に着脱可能にセット保持されている。遊技盤面に配設される遊技釘と風車とは、ともに打球発射装置から遊技領域に発射された遊技球の跳ね返り方向を様々に変化させ、遊技球の動きにランダム性をもたせることで遊技を複雑化しゲーム性を増進させる目的で設けられている。

ここで、遊技釘はその反発性を利用し、遊技釘に衝突した遊技球を跳ね返して遊技球の落下移動方向を変化させたり、所定方向に案内したりするようになっているが、遊技盤の盤面に固設されるものであり、一定の規則性を有して遊技球の移動方向を変化させたり、案内したりする機能を有している。一方、風車は遊技盤の前面に回転自在に配設された羽根車を有して構成され、落下する遊技球が羽根車に衝突したときに羽根車が回転して遊技球の移動方向や移動速度を変化させるように構成されている。このため、遊技球が衝突する羽根車の位置や、羽根車の回転状態に応じて遊技球の移動方向がランダムに変化し、遊技球の落下方向を不規則にもしくはランダムに変化させることができるようになっている。パチンコ機等の弾球遊技機においては、遊技釘と風車とを組み合わせて配設し、遊技球の落下方向およびパターンに多様性を持たせるとともに、風車の多様な回転運動により視覚的にも遊技を楽しめるように工夫されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、弾球遊技機では遊技盤が観者に与えるイメージが大切であり、遊技盤は盤全体として一つのデザインコンセプトのもと、一定のイメージをもってデザインされている。盤面に配設されて視覚的効果を高めるランプ風車についても同様であり、既存のランプ風車が遊技盤全体のイメージと合致しない場合には、少なくとも羽根車を新たに製作する必要があった。また、当該新たなデザインコンセプトの遊技盤においてデザインや遊技球を弾く方向性が異なる複数種のランプ風車を設けようとする場合には、各風車ごとにそれぞれ羽根車を新たに製作する必要があった。

ところが、ランプ風車の羽根車は、一般に合成樹脂材料を用いた射出成形によって製作されるため、新たな羽根車を製作するにはそれに先だって新規な成形型を準備する必要があり、その型設計や製作に多大な工数や費用が発生するという問題があった。また、このようにして遊技盤ごとに製作される風車の種類が増大して多品種におよぶと、型の管理や生産管理、部品の在庫管理等に多くの工数が必要になり、生産コストを上昇させる一因になるという問題があった。

本発明は、上記のような課題に鑑みて成されたものであり、一つの羽根車で多数のバリエーション風車を構成できる弾球遊技機の風車を提供することを目的とし、もって弾球遊技機の生産コストの低減に寄与することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的達成のため、本発明は、遊技盤の前面に突出して配設されて遊技盤の盤面に沿って落下する遊技球の落下状態を変化させるための弾球遊技機の風車であって、遊技盤に固設される支持台と、この支持台に軸部材を介して回動可能に支持される羽根車とから構成される。羽根車は、軸部材を挿通させる貫通孔を有する軸筒部と、軸筒部から放射状に外方に延びる羽根部と、軸筒部の少なくとも一端面に設けられて羽根部の側縁を覆い羽根車の表裏を規定する飾り板部とを備えており、羽根車が支持台に表向きおよび裏向きのいずれの姿勢でも取付可能に構成されて弾球遊技機の風車が構成されている。このような風車では、遊技盤に固設される支持台に対して回動自在に支持される羽根車が表裏いずれの姿勢でも取付可能に構成されているため、一つの成形型を用いて羽根車の表裏取付が異なる二種類の風車を実現することができる。

なお、羽根車の飾り板部は表面側と裏面側とに異なる意匠が施されていることが好ましい。羽根車の飾り板部は軸筒部の少なくとも一端面に設けられて表裏を規定しており、例えば飾り板部が羽根車の表面側のみに設けられている場合に、その表面側または裏面側のみに飾りシールを貼り付けて他面側に飾りシールを貼り付けない構成や、両面に異なる飾りシールを貼り付ける構成、さらには飾り板部が設けられていない裏面側の羽根部の端面にシールを貼り付ける構成などが挙げられる。また、羽根車の表裏両面に異なる径の飾り板部を有する羽根車では、それぞれの飾り板部の表裏面に上記のような異なる意匠を施すことにより、一つの成形型を用いた羽根車で多くの異なる意匠を有した風車を実現することができる。

また、羽根部は軸筒部から外方に延びる羽根高さが、羽根車の表裏方向位置に応じて異なるように風車を構成することも好ましい。例えば、羽根車の表面側から裏面側に向けて羽根部の高さが低くなるような三角形ないし台形のフィン状の羽根部を有する構成とすれば、羽根車の表裏は単に意匠上の差異のみならず、遊技球の移動軌跡を変化させるという風車の機能上の差異をもたせることができる。従って、一つの成形型を用いた羽根車で異なる機能を有した風車を実現することができる。そして、上記意匠が異なる羽根車と組み合わせることにより、一つの成形型を用いた羽根車でありながら極めて多くのバージョンの風車を実現することができる。

なお、上記各風車における軸部材は外周面で貫通孔の内周面と当接し羽根車を回動自在に支持する軸部と、軸部の一端に形成されて軸部よりも大きな径の頭部とを有し、貫通孔は軸部を緩挿させる支持孔部とこの支持孔部の表裏端部に形成されて頭部の径よりも大きな径のザグリ状の段付孔部とを有するように弾球遊技機の風車を構成することが望ましい。このような構成によれば、羽根車は支持孔部において軸部にラジアル方向に回動自在に支持されるとともに、段付孔部において頭部にスラスト方向に移動規制されて支持される。そして段付孔部は羽根車の貫通孔の表裏両端に設けられているため、羽根車を表裏同様にして取り付けることができる。また、段付孔部の深さを同一とすることにより、羽根車の取り付け姿勢ごとに軸部材または支持台を変更する必要がなく、同一の支持台に対して同一の軸部材を用いて表裏の取付可能である。従って、支持台等の他の構成部材を変更することなく羽根車の取付方向のみを変更することで多数のバージョンの風車を提供することができる。また、軸部材の頭部が段付孔部内に配設されるため、この段付孔部の上面を覆う飾りシールを粘付することにより頭部および段付孔部をカバーして意匠効果を高めることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して本発明の好ましい実施形態について説明する。まず、本発明に係る風車を有して構成される弾球遊技機の一例としてパチンコ遊技機を採り上げ、その構成について図3および図4を参照して簡単に説明する。ここに示すパチンコ遊技機PMは、所定の外郭方形枠サイズに構成された固定保持用の外枠1の前側に、これに合わせた方形枠サイズに構成された開閉搭載用の前枠2が、正面左側上下部に配設された開閉ヒンジ3a,3b及び正面右側内部に配設された施錠装置4を利用して横開き開閉可能に組付けられており、常には図示する閉鎖状態に保持される。

前枠2の前側面域には、この領域サイズに合わせた方形枠サイズのガラス扉(ガラス窓ともいう)5が図3における左側縁をヒンジ結合されて前枠2に対して横開き開閉自在に設けられ、その下部に上下の球皿7a,7b及び打球発射装置8等が装備されている。前枠2の裏側には方形枠サイズの収容枠が前枠2と一体に形成されており、この収容枠にパチンコゲームを展開し得る遊技盤9が水平姿勢・位置の縦向きで着脱交換可能にセット保持されて前面の遊技領域をガラス扉5の正面に臨ませている。

このようなパチンコ機PMにおいて、上球皿7aに投入した遊技球を打球発射装置8により発射して、円弧状の発射レール11を通って遊技盤9の遊技領域PA内に打ち出すことができるようになっている。

遊技領域PAを図4に詳しく示しており、複数の風車50,50′、電動チューリップ構成を有した始動口21、大入賞口22、小入賞口23a,23b,24a,24b、アウト口25等が図示のように配設され、遊技盤9の中央部に飾り部31を上側に戴いた図柄表示部30が設けられている。なお、図を見やすくするため図4には図示していないが、遊技盤9上の遊技領域PAには、多数の遊技釘が所定のゲージ設定でで設けられており、これら遊技釘により遊技領域PA内に打ち出された遊技球の移動方向を変化させるガイドを行うようになっている。また風車50,50′も遊技球の落下移動方向をランダムに変更し、遊技球の落下パターンをより大きく変化させるようになっている。

風車50の第1設定形態(50A)における正面図および側面図を図1(a),(b)に示し、第2設定形態(50B)における正面図および側面図を図2(a),(b)に示し、さらに第1設定形態における分解斜視図を図5に示している。例示する風車50はいわゆるランプ風車と呼ばれる風車であり、遊技盤9に固設される支持台51と、支持台51から前方に突出して取り付けられる軸部材40と、この軸部材40に回転自在に支持される羽根車60と、支持台51の後端面に取り付けられたランプ基板45とから構成される。

ランプ基板45の前面側には一対のソケット46が取り付けられており、各ソケット46にランプ47が取り付けられている。各ソケット46にランプ基板45上の配線を介して繋がるコネクタ48がランプ基板45の後面に配設されており、このコネクタ48を介して供給される電力により各ランプ47が点灯され、風車50を後面側から照明する。

支持台51は、左右側方に突出する取り付け部53を有した平板状のフランジ部52と、フランジ部52の後面から後方に突出する後方突出部55とを有し、透明または不透明の樹脂材料を用いて射出成形等の成形手段で図示する所定形状に形成する。後方突出部55の後端面には上記ランプ基板45が取り付けられる後端面が形成されこの後端面に設けられた突起部とネジ穴とでランプ基板45が固定される。また、後方突出部55の中央を前後に貫通して軸部材40を取り付けるための軸支持孔56が設けられている。

羽根車60は、例えばランプ47の照明光を通す透明もしくは半透明の樹脂材料を用いて支持台51と同様の成形手段で形成される。羽根車60は、第1設定形態において前面側に位置する円盤状の飾り板部61と、飾り板部61の中心部から後方に延びる軸筒部63と、飾り板部61の後面に繋がるとともに軸筒部63から外周方向に放射状に延びた三枚の羽根部62とから構成される。軸筒部63には、その軸心を前後に貫通し軸部材40を挿通させる貫通孔64が形成されている。

このように、羽根車60には羽根部62を挟んで前後に方向性があり、飾り板部61が形成された側を本明細書では便宜的に表面側といい、飾り板部61が形成されていない面側を裏面側という。また、羽根車60の表面側(飾り板部61側)が前面に向く取付姿勢の設定形態を便宜的に第1設定形態(風車50A)といい、逆に羽根車60の裏面側が前面に向く取付姿勢の設定形態を第2設定形態(風車50B)という。

軸部材40は貫通孔64の内周面と当接して羽根車60を回動自在に支持する軸部41と、軸部の一端に形成されて軸部41よりも大きな径の頭部42とを有し、軸部41の他端側には止め輪(Eリング)43を係止するリング溝41aが形成されている。

一方、この軸部材41が挿通される貫通孔64は、図1(a)中にVI-VI矢を付して示す断面図を図6示すように、軸部41を緩挿させる軸受部たる支持孔部64aと、この支持孔部64aの表裏端部に設けられて軸部材の頭部42の径よりも大径でかつ同一深さのザグリ状の段付孔部64bとが形成されている。すなわち、この貫通孔64は羽根車の表裏方向に対称に形成されており、この貫通孔64に関するかぎり表裏関係が存在しない。このため、羽根車60は表面側を前面に向けて取り付けた第1設定形態、および裏面側を前面に向けて取り付けた第2設定形態のいずれの姿勢でも設定可能な、いわばリバーシブル構成となっている。

羽根車60を取り付ける際には、例えば第1設定形態においては図5に示すように、羽根車の表面側(飾り板部61側)から軸部材40の軸部41を貫通孔64内に挿入して羽根車60を挿通させ、さらに、羽根車裏面側から突出する軸部41を支持台51の軸支持孔56内に挿入して後方突出部55の後端面から突出させる。そして後端面から突出した軸端部のリング溝41aにEリング43を係止させてこの軸部材40を係止保持させる。

このとき、羽根車60は支持孔部64aで軸部41にラジアル方向に支持されるとともに、頭部42が段付孔部64b内でスラスト方向に移動規制され、これにより羽根車60は支持台51に回動自在に取り付けられる。取付後には飾り板部61の表面に図1(a)でハッチングを付して示すように飾りシール70を貼り付けることで、段付孔部64bや頭部42を覆い、これ等の構造を目立たなくすることができる。

また、羽根車60の表裏を逆にして羽根車の裏面側(飾り板部61が無い側)から貫通孔64に軸部41を挿通させ、以下上記同様に軸部材を取り付けることにより、羽根車60の裏面側を前面に向けて取り付けることができ、風車50を第2設定形態に設定することができる。そして、取付後に図2(a)でハッチングを付して示すように軸筒部63の端面に飾りシール75を貼り付けることで、段付孔部64bや頭部42を覆い、これ等の構造を目立たなくすることができる。

上記のように構成された風車50(50A,50B)は、遊技盤9に形成された風車取り付け穴9aに図1(b)または図2(b)に示すように後方突出部55を挿入してフランジ部52を遊技盤9の前面に当接させ、この状態でフランジ部52の左右取り付け部53に形成された取り付け孔53aを介してビス止めされて遊技盤9に取り付けられる。このように取り付けられると、羽根車60が遊技盤9の前面側におけるガラス扉5との間の遊技領域PA内に突出して位置し、目視上全く異なる風車として認識される。

第1設定形態の風車50Aでは、前面に飾り板部61が位置し羽根部62が直視的に見えない反面、大きく貼られた飾りシール70が目を引く構成であり、ランプ47が点滅したときには飾りシール70の奥からその周囲に光が広がる風車となる。一方、第2設定の風車50Bでは、前面から羽根部62が直接見えるため羽根車の回転がダイナミックに把握される構成であり、ランプ47が点滅したときには羽根車全体が光る風車となる。

次に、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る風車150の第1設定形態(150A)における正面図と側面図とを図7(a),(b)に示し、第2設定形態(150B)における正面図と側面図とを図8(a),(b)に示しており、以下これ等両図を参照して概説する。風車150は、遊技盤9に固設される支持台51と、支持台51から前方に突出して取り付けられる軸部材40と、この軸部材40に回転自在に支持される羽根車160と、支持台51の後端面に取り付けられたランプ基板45とから構成される。すなわち、風車150の構成部材は羽根車160を除き前述の風車50と共通であり、同様のランプ風車を構成する。そこで、以下では共通部材について図中に同一番号を付し重複説明を省略する。

羽根車160は、ランプ47の照明光を通す透明もしくは半透明の樹脂材料を用いて形成されており、第1設定形態において前面側に位置する円盤状の飾り板部161と、飾り板部161の中心部から後方に延びる軸筒部163と、飾り板部161の後面に繋がるとともに軸筒部163から外周方向に放射状に延びた三枚の羽根部162とから構成される。軸筒部163には、その軸心を前後に貫通し軸部材40を挿通させる貫通孔64が形成されている。

このため、羽根車160を支持第51に取り付ける際に軸部材40を表面側(飾り板161側)から挿入して取り付けるか、または裏面側から挿入して取り付けるかによって、風車を第1設定形態の風車150Aまたは第2設定形態の風車150Bのいずれにも設定することができる。

まず、目視上の作用として、第1設定形態の風車150Aでは、前面に飾り板部161が位置し羽根部162が直視的に見えない反面、大きく貼られた飾りシール70が目を引く構成であり、ランプ47が点滅したときには飾りシール70の奥からその周囲に光が広がる風車となる。一方、第2設定の風車150Bでは、前面から羽根部162が直接見えるため羽根車の回転がダイナミックに把握される構成であり、ランプ47が点滅したときには羽根車全体が光る風車となる。

また、機能上の作用として、第1設定の風車150Aでは、羽根部162の外側縁が遊技盤9の盤面方向に傾斜した構成となるため、落下する遊技球PBは風車150Aに当接したときに、図7(b)中に矢印を付すように盤面方向に弾かれて流される傾向をもつ。一方、第2設定の風車150Bでは、羽根部162の外側縁がガラス扉5の方向に傾斜した構成となるため、落下する遊技球PBは風車150Bに当接したときに、図8(b)中に矢印を付すように盤面から離れる方向に弾かれて流される傾向をもつ。

従って、以上のような簡明な構成によって、同一の支持台51、軸部材40、ランプ基板45および羽根車160を用いて、羽根車160の組み立て方向を変えるのみで全く意匠および機能が異なる二種類の風車150A,150Bを構成することができる。

そして、以上のようにして構成される風車を用いることにより、ローコストで多種類の風車を構成することができるとともに、このような風車を用いて多くのバージョンのパチンコ機を構成することができる。例えば、図4に示した遊技盤9において、風車50として第1設定形態の風車50A(150A)を用いるバージョンや、第2設定形態の風車50B(150B)を用いるバージョン、さらに風車50’として第1設定形態または第2設定形態の風車を用いるバージョンなどを組み合わせることで多数バージョンのパチンコ機PMを極めてローコストに提供することができる。

なお、以上では羽根車60,160の片面に飾り板部61,161を設け、他面に飾り板部を設けない構成を例示したが、飾り板部を両面に設ける構成であっても良く、その飾り板部の外径が異なるものであっても良い。また、飾り板部は円盤状の板である必要はなく(例えば三角形状や花びら形状等であっても良く)、部分的に抜きを設けた構成であっても良い。さらに、実施例ではランプ47を有するランプ風車を例示したが、ランプを有しない構成であっても良い。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明では、遊技盤に固設される支持台と、この支持台に軸部材を介して回動可能に支持される羽根車とからなる弾球遊技機用の風車において、羽根車を支持台に表向きおよび裏向きのいずれの姿勢でも取付可能に構成して弾球遊技機の風車を構成する。このため、一つの成形型を用いて形成された一つの羽根車の取り付け方向を変更することで、意匠や機能が異なる多数のバリエーション風車をローコストで提供することができ、これにより弾球遊技機の生産コストを低減させることができる。
