BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention connects an external bidirectional CATV system transmission line and a terminal terminal in a building to transmit both upstream and downstream signals bidirectionally, and from a satellite receiving antenna installed in the building. BACKGROUND OF THE
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a lead-in line from an external bidirectional CATV system is drawn into a building, and a downlink signal of a predetermined frequency band input from the lead-in via a transmission line in the building (specifically, a center device of the bidirectional CATV system) Signal transmitted to the terminal terminal in the building, and an upstream signal input from the terminal device on the subscriber side to the terminal terminal is transmitted to the service line, from the service line to the center of the bidirectional CATV system. An in-building CATV system that outputs to the apparatus side is known. The in-building CATV system is usually provided with an amplifying device for amplifying a downstream signal and an upstream signal flowing through the transmission line.
[0003]
By the way, in such an in-building CATV system, when a subscriber desires to receive BS broadcasting or CS broadcasting that is not distributed in the external two-way CATV system, these broadcast radio waves are separately added to the building. Satellite reception antenna (BS antenna that receives transmission radio waves from broadcasting satellite (BS) or CS antenna that receives transmission radio waves from communication satellite (CS)) and satellite reception from this satellite reception antenna The signal is transmitted to the terminal side via the transmission line.
[0004]
In this case, conventionally, the satellite reception signal from the satellite reception antenna is amplified using a dedicated satellite amplifier, and the amplified satellite reception signal is passed through a directional coupler or the like provided in the transmission line. Was sent out on the transmission line.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, conventionally, in an in-building CATV system, in order to transmit a downlink signal from an external bidirectional CATV system and a satellite reception signal received by a satellite reception antenna to the terminal side, both external devices It is necessary to install two types of amplifying devices, a bidirectional amplifying device that amplifies each signal transmitted and received in the CATV system, and a satellite amplifying device that amplifies the satellite reception signal. There has been a problem that a device for sending the satellite reception signal to the transmission line has to be provided separately.
[0006]
In other words, conventionally, in an in-building CATV system, both downstream and upstream signals transmitted by an external bidirectional CATV system and a satellite reception signal received by a satellite reception antenna are both transmitted using a single transmission line. To increase the number of transmission devices that make up the in-building CATV system, the cost of the in-building CATV system is increased, and a space for installing these devices is secured. In addition, since it is necessary to secure a power supply path to each amplification device, there has been a problem that the installation work becomes complicated.
[0007]
On the other hand, such a problem is to provide an amplifying apparatus in which a downstream amplifying circuit that amplifies a downstream signal, an upstream amplifying circuit that amplifies an upstream signal, and a satellite amplifying circuit that amplifies a satellite reception signal are incorporated in one casing. Can be eliminated.
However, if each amplifier circuit is simply incorporated in a single housing, the signal to be amplified by each amplifier circuit enters the other amplifier circuit, which causes noise and reduces the quality of each signal. Depending on the situation, the amplification circuit may oscillate, and each signal cannot be normally amplified.
[0008]
In order to prevent such a problem, for example, each amplifier circuit may be configured using a dedicated printed wiring board, and each board may be put in a shield case and incorporated in a housing. Such countermeasures raise the cost of the amplifying device itself and cause a problem that the amplifying device cannot be provided at a low cost.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of these problems, and transmits an uplink signal transmitted from an external bidirectional CATV system and a satellite reception signal received by a satellite reception antenna to the terminal side and inputs from the terminal side. In an in-building CATV system that sends the transmitted upstream signal to an external bidirectional CATV system, it is possible to amplify the upstream signal, the downstream signal, and the satellite reception signal by using a single amplification device, and the amplification device is inexpensive. The purpose is to be able to provide.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems and Effects of the Invention]
The amplifying apparatus for an in-building CATV system according to
[0011]
In addition, a first terminal that inputs a downstream signal and outputs an upstream signal, a second terminal that inputs a satellite reception signal, and a third terminal that inputs an upstream signal and outputs a downstream signal and a satellite reception signal are respectively provided. The second terminal is assembled to one end edge of the printed wiring board so as to be positioned between the first terminal and the third terminal. Each amplifier circuit is formed in the order of a satellite amplifier circuit, a downstream amplifier circuit, and an upstream amplifier circuit from one end edge side of the printed wiring board on which these terminals are assembled.
[0012]
For this reason, the satellite reception signal input to the second terminal located in the center among the three terminals is input to the satellite amplifier circuit closest to one end edge of the printed wiring board through the second signal path. After being amplified to a predetermined level by the satellite amplifier circuit, it is output from the third terminal to the outside through the third signal path.
[0013]
The path length through which the satellite reception signal passes in the amplification device is the shortest compared to the path length of other signals (downlink signal / uplink signal). Therefore, when the satellite reception signal passes through the amplification device, Therefore, it is possible to efficiently amplify the satellite reception signal to a desired level.
[0014]
That is, for example, when the satellite reception antenna is a BS antenna that receives transmission radio waves from a broadcasting satellite (BS), the frequency of the satellite reception signal (BS signal) is 1035 to 1335 MHz, which is lower than that of the downstream signal or upstream signal. The frequency increases. Further, if the satellite receiving antenna is a CS antenna that receives a transmission radio wave from a communication satellite (CS), the frequency of the satellite receiving signal (CS signal) is further higher than that of the BS signal. And the signal loss which arises when such a high frequency signal passes the path | route formed in the printed wiring board becomes so large that the frequency of the signal is high.
[0015]
For this reason, if the satellite amplifier circuit is formed at a position away from one end edge of the printed wiring board to which each of the terminals is assembled, the satellite reception signal passage path becomes long and the signal loss also increases. Then, since the satellite amplifier circuit is formed at a position closest to each of the above terminals compared to other amplifier circuits, the signal loss of the satellite reception signal in the amplifier device is reduced, and an amplifier circuit with a small gain is used. Thus, the satellite reception signal can be amplified to a desired level.
[0016]
Next, the downstream signal input to the first terminal is input to the downstream amplifier circuit formed in the center of the printed wiring board via the first signal path, and after being amplified to a predetermined level by the downstream amplifier circuit, On the other hand, the upstream signal input to the third terminal through the third signal path is output to the outside from the third terminal, and is opposite to the satellite amplifier circuit on the printed circuit board via the third signal path. And is amplified to a predetermined level by the upstream amplifier circuit, and then output from the first terminal to the outside through the first signal path.
[0017]
These amplifier circuits are simply formed on a printed circuit board, and each signal flowing through each amplifier circuit enters the other amplifier circuit through the space around the substrate and is output from each amplifier circuit. In the present invention, a shield plate is provided around each amplifier circuit on the printed wiring board. The shield plate can prevent high-frequency signals other than signals to be amplified from entering the amplifier circuits through the space around the substrate.
[0018]
For this reason, according to this invention, it can prevent that the signal amplification characteristic in each amplifier circuit falls by forming each said amplifier circuit on the same printed wiring board. In addition, since each of the amplifier circuits can be formed on the same printed circuit board in this way, the manufacturing cost of the amplifier circuit can be reduced as compared with the case of manufacturing each amplifier circuit individually, The manufacturing process when storing the printed wiring board in the housing can be simplified. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide an amplifying apparatus that can stably amplify a downlink signal, an uplink signal, and a satellite reception signal at a low cost.
[0019]
Here, not only the shield plate surrounding the periphery of the three types of amplifier circuits as described above, but also the terminal for connecting the terminals and the amplifier circuits as described in
[0020]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, a lid for shielding each circuit surrounded by the shield plate from above is provided on the open end side of the shield plate standing on the printed wiring board. However, it is possible to prevent a deterioration in the quality of the high-frequency signal input to and output from the amplifier.
[0021]
In addition, in the amplifying apparatus as in the present invention, it is necessary to provide a power supply circuit for supplying power to each amplifier circuit. As described, the power supply circuit board on which the power supply circuit is formed may be arranged on the side opposite to the side wall of the casing on the side where the terminals are projected to the outside. In other words, in this way, noise generated in the power supply circuit can be prevented from entering the high-frequency signal input / output terminal and each amplifier circuit, and the signal quality of the high-frequency signal input to and output from the amplifier is ensured. can do.
[0022]
On the other hand, in the present invention, the first terminal is basically connected to an external transmission line on the bidirectional CATV system side, and inputs a downstream signal to the device or an upstream signal amplified by the device. The second terminal is basically connected to the satellite reception antenna via a transmission line, and the satellite reception signal from the satellite reception antenna is transmitted to the device. However, if the functions of these terminals are limited in this way, the transmission device is connected to the transmission line on the satellite receiving antenna side and the transmission line on the external bidirectional CATV system side. The amplifying apparatus of the present invention cannot be used in an in-building CATV system equipped with a device.
[0023]
Therefore, in order to make it possible to use the amplifying device of the present invention even in an in-building CATV system equipped with such a mixer, the first device formed on the printed circuit board as in the amplifying device according to
[0024]
That is, in the amplification device according to
[0025]
By the way, when an in-building CATV system is constructed using the amplifying apparatus of the present invention, it is necessary to detect the signal level of each signal output from the amplifying apparatus and check the operating state of the amplifying apparatus and the entire system. There is. When performing such inspection work, disconnecting the connection between each terminal of the amplifying device and each transmission line hinders system operation, and detects the actual use state of the amplifying device. Can not do it.
[0026]
Therefore, in order to perform such inspection work more easily and satisfactorily, it is desirable to configure the amplifying device as described in
That is, in the amplifying device according to
[0027]
In the amplification device according to
[0028]
By the way, in the bidirectional CATV system, the frequency of the upstream signal is usually set lower than the frequency of the downstream signal. Recently, however, the number of signals that can be transmitted as upstream signals (in other words, the amount of information) is increased. For this purpose, a first upstream signal (hereinafter also referred to as an upstream high signal) having a frequency higher than that of the downstream signal and a frequency lower than that of the satellite reception signal, and a second upstream signal (hereinafter referred to as upstream low signal) having a frequency lower than that of the downstream signal. Two-way CATV systems capable of transmitting two types of upstream signals (also called signals) are being put into practical use.
[0029]
In the in-building CATV system connected to this type of bidirectional CATV system through a lead-in line, the above two types of upstream signals are transmitted as upstream signals. In use in the internal CATV system, if the number of upstream amplification circuits incorporated in the amplification device is limited to one, it is necessary to extremely widen the operable frequency band of the upstream amplification circuit, which may increase the cost of the device. .
[0030]
Therefore, when the amplifying device of the present invention is used in an in-building CATV system in which two types of upstream signals, an upstream high signal and an upstream low signal, are transmitted, A first upstream amplifier circuit that amplifies the signal (upstream high signal) and a second upstream amplifier circuit that amplifies the second upstream signal (upstream low signal), and the printed circuit board includes a second upstream amplifier circuit, Forming each upstream amplifier circuit so that the first upstream amplifier circuit is located between the second upstream amplifier circuit and the downstream amplifier circuit farthest from one edge of the printed wiring board on which each terminal is assembled; The printed wiring board is preferably provided with a shield plate so as to surround each of the upstream amplifier circuits.
[0031]
In other words, in this way, it is necessary to form two types of upstream amplifier circuits as upstream amplifier circuits on the printed circuit board. The operable frequency band of each upstream amplifier circuit is the first upstream signal (upstream signal). Since it may be set according to each frequency band of the high signal) and the second upstream signal (upstream low signal), the operable frequency band of each upstream amplifier circuit can be narrowed. For this reason, it is possible to configure two types of upstream amplification circuits at a lower cost than when the upstream amplification circuit is configured by a single wideband amplification circuit having a wide operable frequency band, and two types of upstream signals are transmitted. An amplifying device that can be used in an in-building CATV system can be provided at low cost.
[0032]
Further, in the printed wiring board, the first upstream amplifier circuit that amplifies the first upstream signal having a frequency higher than that of the second upstream signal is disposed on the terminal side of the second upstream amplifier circuit. Compared with the case where this arrangement is reversed, the signal loss of the first upstream signal in the amplifier can be reduced, and the gain of the first upstream amplifier circuit can be reduced.
[0033]
On the other hand, in the invention according to
[0034]
According to the in-building CATV system of the ninth aspect, the uplink signal, the downlink signal, and the satellite reception signal can be amplified only by the amplifying device described above, so the uplink signal and the downlink signal are amplified. This can be realized at a lower cost than a conventional in-building CATV system that amplifies each signal using two amplifying devices, that is, an amplifying device and an amplifying device that amplifies a satellite reception signal. In addition, since the number of transmission devices constituting the in-building CATV system can be reduced, the system can be easily inspected.
