Description
The present invention relates to an odor measuring device, and more particularly to an odor measuring device capable of expressing the odor of a gas to be measured with human senses.
The olfactory measurement method stipulated in Japan's Odor Control Law is managed by an odor judge, and an actual sensory test is performed by a panel that passes a certain olfactory test. However, the measurement time per sample needs about 20 to 40 minutes, and considering the fatigue of the panel such as olfactory fatigue, the number of samples that can be measured per day is less than 10. Therefore, it is more efficient to preliminarily measure the odor with an odor measuring method or odor measuring device that stably measures the odor, and to perform a sensory test using a panel for the problematic odor.
For this reason, conventionally, a calibration curve representing the correspondence between the resistance value change according to the odor gas concentration by the semiconductor gas sensor and the odor intensity indicated by the odor gas from the panel is created, and the sample measured based on this calibration curve Has been disclosed (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Further, there is disclosed a method for diagnosing odor intensity by setting a relationship between a semiconductor gas sensor and odor intensity in advance according to human sense intensity and converting an output from the semiconductor gas sensor into odor intensity. (For example, refer to Patent Document 2). Furthermore, in order to reduce the size, there is also disclosed a technique for adjusting the output from the semiconductor gas sensor to be the same when detecting a plurality of odorous substances using one semiconductor gas sensor (for example, Patent Documents). 3).
As a technique related to the present invention, a comfort vector model on a two-dimensional coordinate system defined by a coordinate system representing the degree of pleasure and discomfort and a coordinate system representing the degree of excitement and calm is disclosed (for example, Non-patent document 1). In addition, a technique for evaluating cosmetics from the obtained electroencephalogram data using a sensitivity spectrum analyzer capable of directly quantifying various psychological states from the electroencephalogram data is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 4).
However, since the techniques of

And means for responding as a sense when a person smells gas.
In the present invention, a plurality of semiconductor gas sensors sealed in the chamber and having different gas sensitivities are provided. The gas in the chamber is sucked at a constant flow rate by the suction means, and the gas to be measured is introduced into the chamber. The output of the semiconductor gas sensor is measured by the measuring means while the gas in the chamber is sucked by the suction means. The storage means stores position data from an origin on a two-dimensional coordinate system defined by a coordinate system representing the degree of pleasantness and discomfort and a coordinate system representing the degree of excitement and calmness. A neural network in which the correspondence relationship between the odor sensibility data corresponding to the above and a plurality of feature values calculated from the output of the semiconductor gas sensor for the odors of the various gases is stored in advance. The feature value calculating means calculates a plurality of feature values from the output of the semiconductor gas sensor measured by the measuring means, and the vector calculating means stores the plurality of feature values calculated by the feature value calculating means in the storage means. A position vector from the origin on the two-dimensional coordinates is calculated from the input layer of the neural network and output from the neural network. Then, the response means corresponds to the sense when the person smells the gas to be measured, based on the direction and size of the position vector calculated by the vector calculation means on the two-dimensional coordinates. According to the present invention, since the gas to be measured is introduced into the chamber at a constant flow rate by the suction means, a plurality of semiconductor gas sensors can be operated in a stable steady state, and the neural network can be operated by the vector calculation means. A plurality of feature values calculated by the feature value calculation means are input to the input layer, and a position vector from the origin on the two-dimensional coordinate is output (calculated) from the output layer of the neural network, and calculated by the corresponding means. From the direction and size of the measured position vector on the two-dimensional coordinates, the feeling when the person smells the gas to be measured is taken into account, taking into account the degree of pleasure, discomfort, excitement, and calmness. The odor of gas can be expressed as a human sense.
In the present invention, if the neural network stored in the storage means learns the correspondence between the position vector in at least all quadrants on the two-dimensional coordinates and a plurality of feature values calculated from the output of the semiconductor gas sensor, Since the correspondence relationship between the odor sensitivity data in all quadrants on the two-dimensional coordinates and a plurality of feature values calculated from the output of the semiconductor gas sensor is constructed in the neural network, it is possible to express the odor of any gas with human senses. It becomes possible. The characteristic values are the maximum value of the output of the semiconductor gas sensor, the time to take the maximum value, the differential maximum value by the time of output of the semiconductor gas sensor, the time to take the differential maximum value, and when a predetermined time elapses from the start of measurement by the measuring means The specific resistance value of the semiconductor gas sensor is preferably included. In addition, the correspondence unit is configured to measure the position vector when the position vector calculated by the vector calculation unit is located in the pleasant-excited quadrant, the pleasant-silent quadrant, the unpleasant-excited quadrant, and the unpleasant-silent quadrant on the two-dimensional coordinates. It is more preferable to correspond so as to express the number of excitement, excitement, and annoyance. Moreover, you may make it a response | compatibility translate as a feeling when a person smells the gas of measurement object by the sentence which combined the predicate containing a numerical value. And you may make it further provide the display means which displays the sense translated by the corresponding means.
Hereinafter, embodiments of an odor measuring apparatus according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
(Constitution)
As shown in FIG. 1, the
From the lower part of the

As shown in FIG. 2, the mechanism of the
The other end of the

As shown in FIG. 4, a total of ten sensors, eight

As shown in FIG. 5, the

PLC44は、CPU、ROM、RAMの他に、D/Aコンバータ、A/Dコンバータ及びI/Oを有して構成されている。

At this time, it was passed through a filter for extracting the basic rhythm wave from the electroencephalogram data. For the acquisition of electroencephalogram data, a bipolar derivation method that amplifies and extracts a potential difference between two electrodes arranged on the scalp was used, and an international 10-20 method was used for the electrode placement site on the scalp.
(2) The constant wave cross method was applied to the filter output to capture the fluctuating wave period. At this time, the setting of the cross potential (threshold potential width) was adjusted while monitoring the amplitude of the filter wave. The point of time when the wave of the filter wave exceeds the set threshold potential (+) was checked when the wave exceeded the threshold potential, and each check interval (with a time width corresponding to the period) was converted to an instantaneous frequency.
(3) The spectrum was extracted by applying the fast Fourier transform method to the time-series data of the instantaneous frequency. The time for calculating one spectrum was 25.6 s, and 512 sample points were used for the calculation (a time table in increments of 50 ms was created, and frequency data obtained by re-sampling the calculated period every 50 ms (20 Hz) was used. ). The lowest frequency on the spectrum display is 1 / 25.6 s, and the highest frequency is 10 Hz. An average spectrum of a total of 4 unit times (102.4 s) was obtained and used as a fluctuation spectrum.
(4) Next, the fluctuation characteristics were displayed on the biaxial logarithmic graph with the horizontal axis representing the frequency of the fluctuation spectrum and the vertical axis representing the spectral density corresponding to the frequency of each fluctuation spectrum. In order to quantify the slope of the spectrum, the inflection point is detected and divided into the low frequency region and the high frequency region, and the logarithmic transformation value of the fluctuation frequency is an independent variable and the logarithmic transformation value of the spectral density in each region. A linear regression equation was calculated for the dependent variable, and the slope was represented by the slope coefficient.
(5) Similar to the well-known Heller (w) two-dimensional model or the comfort level vector model of
(6) Similarly to the above (1) to (5), the odorous gas emitted from the same specimen was sniffed on a large number of subjects, and the position vector was calculated. Then, as shown in FIG. 7B, the position vectors (for example, (x1, y1), (x2, y2)) obtained from the brain wave data of each subject with respect to the pair of gases emitted from the same specimen. Average vector (for example, a vector represented by X = (x1 + x2) / 2, Y = (y1 + y2) / 2), and one odor sensitivity data for the sample was created. Further, an average vector was obtained for a large number of specimens having different odors so that odor sensibility data can be obtained at least at predetermined angles (for example, 15 °) on the two-dimensional coordinates described above. Therefore, the odor sensation data is obtained in all directions around the origin O of the four quadrants on the two-dimensional coordinates described above.

(8) The maximum value of the output voltage Vout of each
(9) 48 input layers of the same number as the feature value, two output layers constituting the coordinate value (X, Y) from the origin O of the position vector described above, and between the input layer and the output layer A neural network composed of three layers of intermediate layers (for example, 48) was constructed to increase the correlation between 48 data (feature values) and 2 data (coordinate values).
(10) For a number of different specimens that are the same as the specimen sniffed by the subject, when the above (7) and (8) are repeated and 48 feature values are input to the input layer of the neural network, the output layer The correlation coefficient constituting the correlation equation among the output layer, the intermediate layer, and the output layer was determined so that the output from the same as the coordinate value of each position vector. Therefore, the neural network stored in the ROM is learned in all directions from the origin on the two-dimensional coordinates shown in FIG.

When the
In the odor measurement routine, first, the

Next, the
The CPU calculates the 48 feature values described above from the output voltages Vout of the eight
Next, the CPU translates the position vector from the origin on the two-dimensional coordinates output from the output layer into words that the operator can understand. As shown in FIG. 7A, in the present embodiment, when the position vectors are located in the pleasant-excited quadrant, pleasant-silent quadrant, unpleasant-excited quadrant, and unpleasant-silent quadrant on two-dimensional coordinates, The size (absolute value) of the position vector representing the degree is calculated in correspondence with the exciting odor, the irritating odor, the various odors, and the irritating odor. From the above equation (1), the magnitude of the position vector is expressed in percent. Therefore, the CPU corresponds to a word understood by a person such as “a nice smell of 70%” from the position vector by using the above-mentioned predicate and numerical value, and displays it on the

(Action etc.)
Next, the operation and the like of the
The
Furthermore, in the
Moreover, in the
In the present embodiment, the example in which the carrier gas and the odor gas are selectively introduced into the
Further, in the present embodiment, the
Furthermore, in this embodiment, since the
Further, in the present embodiment, when the position vector of the odor sensibility data is located in the pleasant-excited quadrant, pleasant-silent quadrant, unpleasant-excited quadrant, and unpleasant-silent quadrant on the two-dimensional coordinates, it is exciting. However, it may be adapted to correspond to a human sense more finely (for example, every 30 °). Furthermore, the two-dimensional coordinates shown in FIG. 7A and the calculated position vector may be displayed on the
The present invention provides an odor measuring device capable of expressing the odor of gas as a human sense, and thus contributes to the manufacture and sale of the odor measuring device, and thus has industrial applicability.
