Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a pipe having a narrowed portion on the inner peripheral surface of a bent portion from a pipe material extending in a straight line.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, a retractor including a pretensioner for restraining an occupant integrally with a seat at the time of a vehicle collision is used for a seat belt which is a safety device for a vehicle. The pretensioner detects the collision of the vehicle, operates the gas generator, and forcibly rotates the retractor winding shaft in the webbing winding direction using the pressure of the combustion gas generated from the gas generator. Is for.
[0003]
In this type of pretensioner, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, these gas generators and the like are used because of the need to efficiently take up the webbing by efficiently using the combustion gas generated from the gas generators. A pipe P is interposed between the webbing winding portion of the pretensioner. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the pipe P has a substantially L shape having a bent portion Q at a substantially central portion in the longitudinal direction, and an inner peripheral surface Q1 of the bent portion Q is By denting, the distribution passage of the combustion gas is restricted.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, regarding a pipe having a simple L-shaped bent portion, it is possible to easily form the pipe from a pipe material extending linearly by applying a conventional forming method. For example, as shown in FIG. 9, if a pressing force is applied to the substantially central portion through an appropriately shaped punch R in a state where both ends of the pipe material P ′ are supported, the central portion becomes the bent portion Q. Thus, the pipe material P ′ is formed into an L shape.
[0005]
However, since the dimensions of the pipe formed as described above increase in both the X and Y directions, it is difficult to reduce the size when applied to a retractor.
[0006]
On the other hand, according to the pipe P having the throttle portion S on the inner peripheral surface Q1 of the bent portion Q as described above, the size can be reduced by the throttle portion S, so that the applied retractor can be downsized. become.
[0007]
However, since the above-described pipe P has a shape that is largely flat in the left-right direction, when the pipe P is formed by applying the above-described forming method, that is, through the punch R, the pipe material is used. When a pressing force is applied to the substantially central portion of P ′, it is difficult to maintain the cross-sectional shape, and the throttle portion S may be easily buckled.
[0008]
In addition, due to the influence of the narrowed portion S to be formed on the bent portion Q, the material of the inner side and the outer side of the bent portion Q during the forming is compared with the case where the pipe material P ′ is simply bent in an L shape. Since the flow imbalance becomes prominent, that is, the material becomes excessive on the inner side Qin of the bent portion Q in the middle of molding, while the phenomenon of material shortage on the outer side Qout of the bent portion Q becomes remarkable, Not only does the variation in thickness after molding increase, but the rate at which cracks occur on the outer side Qout of the bent portion Q becomes extremely high. As a result, it is very disadvantageous in terms of yield, resulting in not only significantly inferior productivity but also a significant increase in manufacturing cost.
[0009]
In view of the above circumstances, the present invention provides a method capable of manufacturing a pipe provided with a constricted portion from the inner peripheral surface of a bent portion without causing a decrease in productivity and an increase in manufacturing cost. Is a solution issue.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, a pipe manufacturing method having a narrowed portion on the inner peripheral surface of a bent portion from a pipe material extending in a straight line, the block having a support groove for accommodating the pipe material A support base having a shape abutting on the lower outer peripheral surface at one end of the pipe material , a holding groove at a position facing the support groove of the support base, and a tip portion of the throttle portion A protrusion that matches the shape is provided on the distal end side further than the distal end portion of the holding groove, and at a position on both sides of the throttle portion, an interval slightly larger than the outer diameter on the other end side of the pipe material is provided. In the secured state, the drawing part forming member having the restricting wall parts projecting so as to be parallel to each other is applied to the outer peripheral surface on the inner side on one end side of the part to be the bent part of the pipe material. Contacting the pipe element A slidable holding step between the support base and the drawing portion forming member, and a cross-sectional shape that fits into the one end portion of the pipe material, and the bent portion at the tip portion A step of fitting and inserting a cored bar having a curved portion formed along the outer peripheral inner peripheral surface into one end side of the portion that becomes the bent portion before the pipe material is bent, and the pipe A step of bringing a pressing member into contact with one end surface of the material, and a portion of the pipe material that is on the other end side of the bent portion are provided on a disk centered on the bending center of the bent portion of the pipe material. A step of clamping by the clamp member formed, and the other end portion of the pipe material and the drawing portion forming member are close to each other while applying a pressing force from one end surface of the pipe material via the pressing member. As above By displacing the arc toward the other end portion of the pipe material upwardly through the ramp member, the projecting portion of the inner side outer peripheral surface of the substantially central portion of the pipe material within the interval of the regulating wall portion Bending is sequentially performed in a pressing state, and the inner peripheral surface of the bent portion and the projection of the drawing portion molding member are pressed against each other to form the throttle portion that matches the shape of the projection. And a process.
[0011]
In the pipe manufacturing method of the present invention, before the pipe material is bent, one end thereof may be formed into a rectangular tube shape, and the other end portion may be formed into a cylindrical shape. It is preferable to perform bending molding in the vicinity of the boundary between the portion formed and the portion formed in the cylindrical shape. The pipe material may have a cylindrical shape before the bend. Furthermore, the pipe used for the retractor provided with the pretensioner can be manufactured by the above-described pipe manufacturing method.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings illustrating embodiments. FIG. 1 conceptually shows an embodiment of a pipe manufacturing method according to the present invention. The manufacturing method exemplified here is similar to the one shown in FIG. 5 above, which is interposed between the seat belt gas generator and the webbing take-up portion of the pretensioner, that is, in the longitudinal direction thereof. This is for manufacturing a pipe P having a substantially L-shape having a bent portion Q at a substantially central portion and provided with a throttle portion S from the inner peripheral surface Q1 of the bent portion Q. More specifically, the pipe P is a metal cylindrical member such as iron or mild steel having a thickness of about 2 mm and a total length of about 120 mm. As shown in FIG. 5 (c), the portion closer to the one end side than the bent portion Q forms a rectangular cylinder, while the portion closer to the other end side than the bent portion Q is shown in FIG. ), The cylindrical shape is slightly thicker than the one end side, and the open end portion is slightly wider.
[0013]
First, in this manufacturing method, a pipe material P ″ as shown in FIG. 1A is prepared. The pipe material P ″ extends in a straight line and has a rectangular end portion with respect to a portion to be a bent portion Q. The other end side including the bent portion Q forms a slightly larger cylindrical shape than the one end side. The pipe material P ″ can be easily configured by applying a conventional method. In this case, it is not always necessary to configure the pipe material P ″ from a circular pipe, and the cylindrical bar is subjected to forging. Therefore, the pipe material P ″ can be easily configured.

In addition, in embodiment mentioned above, while the site | part which becomes one end part side from a bending part comprises a rectangular cylinder shape, the site | part which becomes the other end side side from this bending part manufactures the method of manufacturing a cylindrical pipe. Although illustrated, if the throttle portion is provided from the inner peripheral surface of the bent portion, it can be applied to pipes having other cross-sectional shapes, and the use thereof is also the gas of the seat belt. It is not restricted to what is interposed between the winding apparatus of the webbing in a generator and a pretensioner. For example, the cross section of the pipe may be cylindrical at the one end side as well as at the other end side, or conversely, the other end side may be a cylindrical tube as at the one end side. In the former case, a pipe material that has been formed in a cylindrical shape in advance may be applied, and in the latter case, a pipe material that has been formed in a rectangular tube shape in advance may be used. Of course, the dimensions of the pipe are not limited to the embodiment described above.
[0034]
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the drawing portion forming member is brought into contact with the upper peripheral surface of the pipe material, but may be brought into contact with another outer peripheral surface.
[0035]
In the above-described embodiment, the clamp member that holds the other end of the pipe material is displaced. However, the support base that holds the one end of the pipe material and the drawing portion forming member are displaced. Alternatively, the pipe material may be bent by displacing both of them.
[0036]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, bending is performed in a state where the inner peripheral surface of the pipe material is pressed against the distal end portion of the drawn portion forming member, and both sides of the portion constituting the drawn portion are formed. Since the restriction wall portion of the drawing portion forming member is disposed at each of the portions, the situation in which buckling occurs in the drawing portion can be effectively prevented. Furthermore, since bending is performed while applying a pressing force from one end of the pipe material, the material can be sufficiently supplied to the outer side of the bent portion, and cracking may occur. Disappear. As a result, the yield is remarkably improved, the productivity can be increased, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
