Description

The present invention relates to a wound body formed by winding an adhesive film.

For example, adhesive films in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive is uniformly applied to one or both sides of a tape-like film are widely used for packaging and bonding various articles, and as labels, usually as wound bodies It is used for storage and distribution, and is used for the required length.
In such a pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll, in order to maintain the shape as the roll, and from the viewpoint of workability when winding the roll, usually the core of a paper tube or the like is the center. Used for.
In particular, in an adhesive film wound body, deformation, crushing, and the like may occur due to residual stress after winding. When such deformation occurs, troubles occur during use and the like. Therefore, in order to prevent deformation, the core is required to have high rigidity, and a robust one is used even when a paper tube is used.
Various proposals have been made to stably maintain the appearance of the wound adhesive film roll (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

By the way, in the adhesive film winding body which has a winding core, a winding core becomes unnecessary after use and the necessity for disposal arises.
However, since the core is required to have high rigidity, it is difficult to squeeze it into small pieces, it is easy to bulk up, and it also hinders disposal.

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object thereof is an adhesive film wound body that is excellent in form stability and that can easily and efficiently dispose of a wound core after being used. .

The pressure-sensitive adhesive film wound body of the present invention is a pressure-sensitive adhesive film wound body in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive film is wound around a cylindrical core, and a compression load f 1 when the inner diameter of the core of the pressure-sensitive film wound body is deformed by 50%. [N / mm] and the outer diameter R [mm] of the wound adhesive film satisfy the following formula.
0.005 ≦ f 1 /R≦0.020
Here, the core is preferably compression load f 2 at 50% deformation of the inner diameter of 0.3~3.0N / mm.
Moreover, it is desirable that the thickness of the core is 0.3 to 6.0 mm.
Furthermore, it is desirable that the adhesive film is provided with an adhesive layer partially on the film in the width direction, and in particular, the adhesive layer is provided in a band shape along the length direction on one side of the film. The ratio (a / w) of the total length a in the width direction of the adhesive layer to the length w in the width direction of the film is preferably 0.1 to 0.7.

According to the pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll of the present invention, it has a necessary and sufficient form stability and is good in usability, appearance and the like, but can easily reduce the size of a used core and dispose of it efficiently. Can be increased.

FIG. 1 shows an example of the pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll according to the present invention, and a tape-like pressure-sensitive adhesive film 14 is wound around a cylindrical core 12 in layers.
In the present invention, the compression load f 1 [N / mm] when the pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll 10 is compressed and deformed so that the inner diameter (inner peripheral diameter) r of the core 12 is 50%, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive film It is necessary that the outer diameter (the diameter of the outer peripheral edge) R [mm] of the wound body 10 satisfy the following formula.
0.005 ≦ f 1 /R≦0.020
Here, as shown in FIG. 5, the compressive load means that the pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll 10 to be measured is fixed on the measurement table 20 while being laid down, and the pressing plate 22 is lowered from the upper part of the pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll. The load is measured when the inner diameter of the core 12 becomes half of the inner diameter before loading.
When f 1 / R is 0.005 or more, the core does not deform with respect to the winding pressure of the adhesive film, maintains its shape as an adhesive film winding body, and the core is 50%. Even after an external force that deforms is applied, the cross-sectional shape is restored after the release, and there is no trouble in use. On the other hand, when f 1 / R is 0.020 or less, it is possible to easily reduce the size of the wound core that is left after being used by feeding out the entire adhesive film by hand. In order to satisfy this requirement, for example, the material, thickness, structure, and the like of the core may be adjusted as appropriate.

The material of the core 12 is not particularly limited as long as it can be used as a core such as paper or plastic and is suitable for disposal.
Furthermore, the compressive load f 2 at 50% deformation of the inner diameter of the winding core is preferably a 0.3~3.0N / mm. This is because when the compressive load f 2 is 0.3 N / mm or more, the form stability is improved, and when the compressive load f 2 is 3.0 N / mm or less, it is easily crushed by hand. .
The size of the core is determined according to the purpose and the like, the width is based on the adhesive film wound around the core, and the thickness is from 1 cm to 1 m in diameter. A thing of 3-20 cm is widely used.
Further, it is desirable that the thickness t of the core is 0.3 to 6.0 mm. As long as the core satisfies the above requirements, it is desirable to make it as thin as possible for reasons such as saving resources and reducing waste. In practice, this range is appropriate and practical (especially in paper tubes). is there.

The adhesive film 14 is generally configured by providing an adhesive layer on one or both sides of the film.
The material and size of the film are appropriately selected according to the use of the adhesive film. Examples of the material include polyolefin (polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.), soft polyvinyl chloride, polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate, and the like. As for the size, those having a width of about 2 cm to about 1 m can be applied. The thing of 5-30 cm is widely used. The length is not particularly limited as well, such as from 1 m to 100 m.
In addition to a single layer, the film is composed of a plurality of layers as required. For example, a release layer or the like can be provided on the side where the adhesive layer is not provided. The film is also subjected to printing, surface treatment, and the like as necessary.

The kind and application amount of the pressure-sensitive adhesive used for the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer are determined according to the application and the like within a range not departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, silicone, acrylic, natural rubber, synthetic rubber (styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, isoprene rubber, polyisobutylene, butyl rubber, etc.) or the like Various pressure-sensitive adhesives of the mixed system are mentioned.
The thickness of the adhesive layer is suitably 3-40 μm, and preferably 10-30 μm. It is easy to exert sufficient adhesive force. On the other hand, even if the cohesive force of the adhesive does not become excessive, the core does not deform, and the adhesive is not uniformly provided on the entire adhesive film, This is because the difference in winding diameter is small between a certain place and no place, and wrinkles are less likely to occur.

In order to satisfy the above-described requirements of the present invention, it is effective to specify the range and position where the adhesive layer for the film is provided. That is, it is not provided on the entire surface of the film, but an adhesive layer is partially provided in the width direction (direction perpendicular to the feeding direction). For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the adhesive layer 16 is provided in a strip shape along the length direction in the vicinity of both side edges of the film 14, and the portion without the adhesive layer is provided in the central portion, thereby In contrast, the adhesive layer 16 is partially provided. Thus, by providing the adhesive layer 16 partially rather than over the entire core, the core is less likely to be crushed and deformed even if the core 12 has a lower compressive strength than a normal core. It becomes difficult to do. The reason for this is not clear, but the adhesive film slightly loses flexibility by providing an adhesive layer. However, when this is used as a wound body, the adhesive film has a flexibility depending on the number of turns. Loss increases. In such a case, the external force applied to the wound body or the internal stress of the adhesive film is greatly applied to the core, and the core is likely to be depressed and deformed. However, as in the present invention, by ensuring a portion without the adhesive layer, the adhesive film becomes flexible as a whole, the adhesive film itself absorbs external force and internal stress, and the load on the core is reduced, It is considered that the depression and deformation of the core are suppressed, and the adhesive film is elastically restored and easily maintained in a cylindrical shape.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 16 has a ratio (a / w) of the length a in the width direction of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 16 to the length w in the width direction (a = a 1 + a 2 in the case where the pressure layer is divided into a plurality of locations). However, 0.1 to 0.7 is preferable, 0.2 to 0.5 is more preferable, and 0.3 to 0.4 is desirable. This is because if it is smaller than the lower limit, depending on the application, it is difficult to ensure a sufficient adhesive force, and if it is larger than the upper limit, the effect of preventing the deformation of the core is reduced.
The adhesive layer 16 is not limited to two provided on both sides as in the example shown in FIG. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, one adhesive layer 16 is provided only in the central portion leaving both side edge portions, or two side edge portions and the central portion are left as shown in FIG. The adhesive layers 16 and 16 can be provided. The number of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 16 may be three or more, and may not be a belt shape.
The place, width, and the like where such an adhesive layer is provided are determined in consideration of the purpose and application of the adhesive film, the required adhesive strength, and the like.

In order to manufacture the pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll of the present invention, a special method is not required, and a conventionally known method can be used, and it can be manufactured inexpensively and easily.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically. The compression load test was performed by the above method using “Tensilon RTC-1310A” manufactured by A & D, and the compression speed was 50 mm / min when measuring the wound adhesive film, When measuring about the winding core, it was set to 10 mm / min.
[Example 1]
A paper tube having an inner diameter of 38 mm, a wall thickness of 0.6 mm, and a width of 80 mm was prepared. When the compression load was measured for this paper tube, it was 0.33 N / mm at 25% compression and 0.42 N / mm at 50% compression. Note that this paper tube was easily crushed when it was intentionally crushed by hand.
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, on one side of an OPP tape-like film having a width w of 80 mm and a thickness of 30 μm, strips are formed in the vicinity of both side edges (a 1 = a 2 = 10 mm a / w = 0). A pressure-sensitive adhesive film 14 provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 16 (coating thickness: 15 μm) made of natural rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive of .25) was prepared.
Using a winding device, the air shaft is inserted into and fixed to the paper tube, and the air shaft is rotated to place the adhesive film 14 on the paper tube, and its diameter is in the vicinity of both side edges where the adhesive layer 16 is provided. The pressure-sensitive adhesive film roll was manufactured by winding up to 80 mm in the portion.
This adhesive film wound body was observed, but there was no depression in the paper tube, and it was cylindrical as a whole, and there was no hindrance in use, and the shape was restored even after the compression load test, and it was good.
