BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a variable load device capable of changing power capacity and a method of using the same.

[0003]
Figure 9 illustrates a generally configuration of a simulated load equipment of the thyristor type. The simulated load equipment of the thyristor type, phase control so that the power resistor is supplied with a phase angle that is set by the phase angle setting circuits thyristor circuits. For example, it is assumed that 100 A of power is supplied to the load at 100V. That resistor has a capacity of 100 V × 100A = 10 kW, it should be able to use as a load to the test of the
[0004]
Figure 10 shows the principle capable of changing the capacitance of the load in the simulated load equipment of the thyristor type shown in Figure 9. The thyristor circuits, conduction of all the waveform of the AC power, the period corresponding to the phase angle to be set by the phase angle setting circuitry shuts off the load current, the thyristor after the elapse of a period corresponding to the phase angle Then, a load current as shown by being filled is supplied to the resistor. For example, when the phase angle α = 90 degrees, the load current flows by half of the sine wave from 0 degrees to 180 degrees. If the phase angle α is further increased, the period during which the load current flows is shortened, and the capacity can be reduced. If the phase angle α is made smaller, the period during which the load current flows becomes longer and the capacity can be increased.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Simulated load equipment thyristor system as shown in FIG. 9, the phase control of the thyristor circuits, it is possible to realize a plurality of load capacitance per unit. However, for example, as shown for the case of alpha = 90 degrees in Figure 10, the period during which the load current flows even half way is as a power generator capable of supplying the load current of 180 degrees, twice the load capacity Is required. Thus, in the simulated load equipment thyristor method shown in FIG. 9, also seem to be able to simulate a small capacity load of large capacity, there is the power capacity problems, large-capacity It is virtually impossible to simulate continuous load changes for testing small capacity generators with simulated load devices.

An object of the present invention is to provide Hisage variable load device and methods of use thereof can be conducted mock loads in various states.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a resistor serving as a load of an AC power source that outputs three-phase AC power ;
A switching element provided between each phase of the AC power source and the resistor, and capable of switching the power supplied from the AC power source to the resistor for each phase ;
A power measuring means for measuring the power supplied to the AC power supply or al resistor antibodies,

And a control unit that controls the variable load device.
[0010]
According to the present invention, the switching element is provided between the AC power source and the resistor serving as a load, and PWM control is performed by the control means. The control unit controls the switching element based on the measurement result of the measurement unit so that the electric power having the capacitance value set in the capacitance setting unit is supplied to the resistor. Since the power adjustment by the switching element is performed by PWM control, the capacity on the load side and the power supply side can be made the same, and the capacity of the load can be changed within the range where the power capacity of the resistor is the upper limit.
[0011]
The present invention includes a resistor as a load of an AC power source for outputting the three-phase AC power,
A switching element provided between each phase of the AC power source and the resistor, and capable of switching the power supplied from the AC power source to the resistor for each phase ;
A power measuring means for measuring the power supplied to the AC power supply or al resistor antibodies,

A variable load device including control means for controlling,
The variable load device is used as a simulated load for testing the power supply device.
[0012]
According to the present invention, the power consumed by the resistor can be changed by the PWM control by the switching element, and the capacity of the load can be changed. Therefore, when using as a simulated load such as a generator, a power source necessary for the generator A small-capacity load can be easily realized without increasing the capacity.
[0013]
Furthermore, the present invention provides a resistor serving as a load of an AC power source that outputs three-phase AC power ;
A switching element provided between each phase of the AC power source and the resistor, and capable of switching the power supplied from the AC power source to the resistor for each phase ;

A variable load device including control means for controlling,
This is a method for using a variable load device, characterized in that it is used for preventing a reverse tide when a commercial power system and a private power generation facility are used in combination.
[0014]
According to the present invention, the variable load device can easily change the power consumed by the resistor according to the capacity set in the capacity setting means by PWM control of the switching element. When such a variable load device is used when the commercial power system and the private power generation facility are used in combination, when the power from the private power generation facility is excessive and the reverse power flow that flows out to the commercial power system side is about to occur, The capacity of the load can be increased and excess power can be absorbed to prevent reverse power flow effectively.

FIG. 5A shows a case where phase control by the thyristor circuit 6 as shown in FIG. 9 is performed for one phase of three-phase alternating current, and FIG. 5B shows a case where PWM control as in this embodiment is performed. Shown in In the case of phase control by a thyristor, there is a portion where the voltage (current) rises rapidly, and the waveform has a form including harmonics. Further, when the thyristor conducts in another phase, the influence appears on the reverse polarity side. On the other hand, in the PWM control shown in (b), switching is repeated with an extremely short period compared to the frequency of the AC power supply, and smoothed by the inductance and reactance of the wire, and the waveform contains almost no harmonics. The power supply voltage waveform becomes close. For example, the switching frequency is about 16 kHz.
[0020]
In general, there is a demand for suppression of harmonic currents generated by using electrical equipment. The Ministry of International Trade and Industry's Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, based on the results of a study by the Harmonics Subcommittee of the Electrical Appliances Research Committee of the Japan Electric Association, dated May 26, 1994 "Guidelines for Suppressing Harmonics for Home Appliances and General-purpose Products" , “Guidelines for Harmonic Suppression for Consumers Receiving Power at High Voltage or Extra High Voltage” have been established. In this guideline, in the self-excited three-phase bridge circuit and the self-excited single-phase bridge circuit using the voltage type PWM control and the current type PWM control, the conversion coefficient K is 0, and the equivalent capacity as a harmonic generator is 0. It is shown that it can be regarded as a device that does not generate harmonics. Thus, in the case of PWM control, the voltage (current) continuously changes and no harmonics are generated. For this reason, measures against harmonics are not required. Table 1 below shows extracted portions of the self-excited single-phase bridge and the AC power adjustment device using the thyristor method in the harmonic guideline.

FIG. 6C shows an input waveform in the case of PWM control. The thin solid line shows the waveform of the input voltage Vin, and the thick solid line shows the waveform of the input current Iin. In PWM control, the waveform of the input voltage Vin does not change, and the amplitude of the input current Iin changes according to the load capacity. FIG. 6D shows an output waveform in the case of PWM control. In the output waveform, the amplitudes of the output voltage Vout and the output current Iout change according to the load capacitance, but the waveform does not change. That is, in the case of PWM control, since the power is directly adjusted, the input current Iin flowing from the power supply is a current converted to the power supply voltage Vin even when the rated current of the load is taken at a low output voltage Vout.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the electric power supplied from the AC power supply to the load can be controlled by the PWM control of the switching element so as to coincide with the value set in the capacity setting means. Many load capacities can be realized with the load device. Since the change of the load capacity is performed by PWM control of the switching element, there is no problem that the capacity is substantially increased as in the case of the phase angle control by the thyristor, and the load capacity can be easily changed.
[0026]
Furthermore, according to the present invention, since a variable load device that can change the load capacity by PWM control is used as a simulated load device used when testing a power generation facility such as a generator, a substantial power capacity is provided to the generator or the like. A small-capacity load can be realized without requiring an increase in the amount of power. In addition, since the load capacity can be changed according to the value set in the capacity setting means, it is possible to test the power generation equipment by setting various patterns of changes in the load demand of the power generation equipment.
