Claims (10)
- 二次電池であって、
前記二次電池が過熱した際に、前記二次電池の安全性を担保するための***材として、電池セルの外側に装着されてなり、所定温度以上の温度を呈した際に収縮可能な熱収縮チューブを包含する安全スイッチと、
放電条件を制御するための、少なくとも一つの抵抗部材とを備えてなり、
前記熱収縮チューブの長さによって電流の通電を制御するための可変が行われ、前記熱収縮チューブの一側部位が固定され、及び前記熱収縮チューブの他側部位が電線接続部に連結され、前記熱収縮チューブが熱により可変する際に、前記熱収縮チューブの長さ可変により電流の通電または断電を誘発するものであり、
前記安全スイッチが、電池セルの外部入出力端子としての正極端子及び/または負極端子に連結されており、及び前記連結部位の電線接続部が、安全スイッチの作動によって電池セルの電流を通電または断電させることを可能とするものであり、
前記電線接続部が、電池セルの正常な作動条件下では断電状態(OFF)に設定され、過熱条件下では、安全スイッチのうち熱収縮チューブの収縮可変によって通電状態(ON)に変換されることで、電池セルの放電条件が制御されるものであり、並びに、
前記電線接続部が、電池セルの正極端子と負極端子とを直列方式で連結し、及び前記抵抗部材が前記電線接続部と前記対応電極端子との間に、連結されてなるものである、二次電池。 - 前記熱収縮チューブが、水平断面が楕円状または四角形状の中空構造をなし、前記断面が楕円状または四角形状の中空構造の一側内面には固定軸としての支持部材が位置し、他側内面には電線接続部に連結される可変部材が位置するものである、請求項1に記載の安全スイッチ。
- 前記熱収縮チューブが、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、エチレンプロピレンゴム、イソプレンゴム、クロロプレンゴム、スチレンブタジエンゴム、ニトリルブタジエンゴム及びテフロンからなる群から選択される一つまたは二つ以上の素材からなる、請求項1に記載の安全スイッチ。
- 前記熱収縮チューブが、ポリ塩化ビニル素材からなる、請求項1に記載の安全スイッチ。
- 前記熱収縮チューブが、少なくとも60℃〜120℃で熱収縮が開始される、請求項1に記載の安全スイッチ。
- 前記電線接続部での通電時に、前記抵抗部材が発熱によって前記電池セルの充電エネルギーを消耗する、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記抵抗部材が、電池セルの全体容量を10秒〜10時間内に放電できる抵抗値を有するものである、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 請求項1に記載された前記安全スイッチを備えてなる、電池パック。
- 前記電池パックが、単位電池としての二つまたはそれ以上の電池セルを備えてなる、請求項8に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックが、電気自動車またはハイブリッド電気自動車の電源として用いられる、請求項9に記載の電池パック。
