本発明は、たとえばネットワーク経由で商品やサービスを受注する受注管理システムおよびその方法、並びに記録媒体に関するものである。

近年のコンピュータやインターネットの普及に伴い、ネットワーク経由で商品やサービスを受注することが増えてきた。

図５は、従来のネットワーク受注管理システムの構成例を示す構成図である。
このネットワーク受注システム１０は、商品またはサービスの受注を受ける、たとえばメーカー側のメインサーバ（受注装置）１１と、商品またはサービスを注文するクライアント側の複数の通信端末１２と、メインサーバ１１とクライアント側通信端末１２との情報の授受を媒介するネットワーク１３により構成されている。

本システム１０では、商品またはサービスを注文したクライアントは、所定の通信端末１２からネットワーク１３で接続された受注先のメインサーバ１１に直接アクセスして、発注する。
メインサーバ１１は、図示しないデータベースを有しており、商品またはサービスを注文を受け付ける際、最初にユーザー登録を行い、このときに入力する個人情報をすべて管理する。

ローカルサーバでは、クライアント側通信端末から商品またはサービスを注文を受け付ける際、未登録のユーザに関してユーザ登録が行われる。
また、ローカルサーバでは、たとえばあらかじめ決められた時間帯のみクライアントからの注文の受け付が行われる。そして、たとえばクライアントからの注文の内容が蓄積されて集計され、あらかじめ決められた時期、たとえば月末等に該当するクライアントに対する請求書が発行されて、送付される。
以上のように、本発明によれば、個人情報は、ローカルサーバで管理され、ローカルなネットワークにしか流れず、外のオープンなネットワークを流れず、個人情報の漏洩が防止される。

したがって、個人情報の漏洩を防止することができ、また、メインサーバ２１が管理する情報が少なくなるという利点がある。
