かかる状況において、本発明者らは、鋭意検討を行った結果、基板と、該基板の一方の面から立設する少なくともひとつの平面部を有する基台とからなる簡単な構造の商品陳列台であって、該商品陳列台は設置台の傾斜面に設置した際、基台の平面部が商品を載置する略水平面を形成し、基板が商品の背あてとなる第１の使用形態、あるいは該第１の使用形態における商品陳列台を平面内において１８０度反転させれば、基板の基台が立設する反対側の面が商品の背あて面となる第２の使用形態の双方を採ることができ、このため、ひとつ又は複数個を並べて使用すれば多面的で演出効果に優れた商品の陳列が可能であることなどを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
