(1)設計変数範囲を設定するステップ;
(2)前記設計変数範囲を分割するステップ;
(3)前記分割された設計変数範囲に対応する要求性能の選好度、性能値の可能性および/またはロバスト性を算出するステップ。後述の実施形態で述べるように、要求性能の選好度とは、例えばp(x)であり、性能値の可能性とは、例えばq(x)であり、ロバスト性とは、例えばPSIであるが、これらには限られない。
(4)前記要求性能の選好度、性能値の可能性またはロバスト性のいずれかが0である場合には、該当する分割された設計変数範囲を、設計検討の対象から除外するステップ。
(1)入力選好度が0の場合における性能値の可能性分布を示す計算モデルを算出するステップ;
(2)任意の入力選好度における性能値の可能性分布を、前記計算モデルを用いて内挿により算出するステップ。これらのステップ(1)および(2)において計算モデルとは、例えば応答曲面であるが、これには限られない。
1. 選好度を考慮したセットベース設計手法
1.1 設計者の選好度と設計の柔軟性表現のための設計解集合
図2は、本実施形態におけるセットベース設計手法を示している。これをPSD (Preference Set-Based Design)手法と呼ぶ。設計者はまず、なんらかのメタモデリング技法(応答局面法、ニューラルネットワーク、帰納的学習法、Kriging法など)を用いて作成された設計変数と性能変数間の関係性を表す計算モデルを用意する。次に対象性能の評価のために、設計変数や性能変数の可能性範囲を特定する(ステップ2−1)。
設計変数と性能変数に対して1.1節のような選好度数が特定されると、設計変数の選好度数によって達成できる性能値を求める必要がある。入力値がある分布として与えられるので、出力値もある分布を表すことになる。ここでは出力性能のQPNを求めるために入力設計案のQPNをそれらの関係に関して伝播させるための方法を提案する(図2のステップ2−3)。この方法はファジー集合をα‐カットによるレベルセットに分解する手法と類似している。またそのための演算方法も集合演算を用いて定義することができる。しかし、本実施形態の方法では工学設計問題で重要な変数間の因果関係を取り扱うことができ、さらに、拡張したインターバル演算を用いることにより、標準的なファジー集合演算で生じる集合の過大評価を避けることができる。後者の特長により計算時間も少なくすることができる。
1.3.1 実験計画法による設計案の部分集合の組合せの作成
1.2節で述べた集合の伝播手法を用いることによって、初期設計案のQPNによって達成される性能の可能性分布を求めることができる。その可能性分布と要求性能の選好度が互いに重なる領域が存在する場合には初期設計案の内に実現可能な設計解が存在することが予測できる。しかし、初期設計案による性能の可能性分布の中、要求選好度から外れている領域が存在する場合がある。このように、初期設計案の中で有効解ではない部分集合を消去するために初期の解集合の絞込みを行う(ここでは、図2のステップ2−6を先に説明する)。PSD手法では実験計画法(DoE)を用いることによって、初期設計案の部分集合の組合せを作成し、その組合せによる性能の可能性分布を算出し、後述の1.3.2で提案される評価指標を用いてそれぞれの性能を評価することによって、よりロバストな設計案を選び出す。PSD手法では、単純な要因分析が可能で、必要最少の組合せの作成ができるTaguchiの直交表(Orthogonal Array)を用いる。
PSD手法では、1.1節で述べたように設計変数と性能変数に対する選好度の変化する度合いを表現するために、選好度関数を採用した。特に性能変数Xに対する選好度関数pX(x)は選好度pと性能Xのレベルの間の関係を定義する。選好度関数pX(x)は、本発明における要求性能の選好度の一例に相当する。設計変数に対する選好度関数が性能を規定する場合は1.2節で述べた集合伝播法によって得られた性能は設計変数の選好度関数に依存した性能Xの可能性分布qX(x)になる。可能性分布qX(x)は、本発明における性能値の可能性の一例に相当する。
PSDでは入力としての選好度数に基づいて、集合の伝播プロセスにしたがって、ある種の出力としての可能性分布を計算する。しかしながら初期の入力選好度数が期待とは異なる分布を出力し、性能要求を満足しないことがある(図2のステップ2−4)。例えば、p(x)×q(x)=0の場合は、可能な解のセットが存在しないことになる。そこで、入力範囲(設計変数範囲)を修正することが望ましい(図2のステップ2−5)。ここで、設計者はその初期設計案をいかに修正すべきか分らない可能性がある。したがって設計修正を行うために、それぞれの入力選好度数の影響度を決定する必要がある。PSD手法の集合の修正法は基本的にMoI(非特許文献5)の概念を用いるが、不確実性の測度としてのPSIと定量的依存性(非特許文献18)を採用することによって、設計案の中で修正優先順位を決めると共に、修正量を同時に求めることが特徴である。
以上においては、シミュレーションを基礎にした設計においてロバストで柔軟な設計を行うためのセットベース設計の基礎的なフレームワークについて説明した。その方法としては集合の表現方法、集合の伝播法、集合の絞込み法、そして集合の修正法を含むいくつかの計算機ベースのモデルから構成されている。
以下、車両設計、特にドアビームの設計を例として、本実施形態をより詳細に説明する。
前記においては、セットベ−ス設計手法の理論的側面を説明した。本章と次章では、その有効性について検証する為に、具体的な車体構造に例をあげ、その多目的設計に関するベンチマ−ク設計への適用について説明する。
2.1 .車両開発プロセスの変化
現在の車両開発では、ユーザーニーズの取り込み、安全性の向上(各国レイティング、法規の迅速な対応)、環境対応(軽量化、燃費向上)等への迅速な対応を目的に開発期間の短縮化が大きく進んでいる。このため開発に携わる多くの部署がコンカレントエンジニアリング(Concurrent Engineering,CE)を推し進めており、車体構造計画の段階から車両に要求される性能・レイアウト要件を、与えられた意匠の中で全て満足させるように計画している。ただ車体構造計画の初期段階では、与えられる意匠・採用されるユニットの要件のみならず、社会的な環境要件の変化や市場環境の変化に柔軟に対応させるため車両企画そのものも流動的であり、企画の変更・設計仕様の変更が多く発生する。CEが進んだ現在では、企画・設計仕様の変更が与える影響は変更が決まった時点で業務にあたっている一部署に留まらず、同じ設計情報を同時に使用している複数の部署に相互に影響を与え、それぞれ玉突き的に設計変更が必要になり、修正程度で回復できない場合には各関連性能の設計を最初からやり直すことになる。
車両企画・設計仕様の変更は環境の変化のみが原因では無い。CEが進んだ現在では、設計者は複数の設計(意匠・生産・企画・レイアウト・性能法規)要件を同時に満足する解を導き出さなければならず、個別の性能ごとに目標に対する達成度が低い解が選ばれた場合にも後に設計変更が必要となる可能性がある。設計初期段階で設計者が多性能を同時に達成させる解を得るために与えられる時間は、従来の直列的な開発がされてきた時代と同等の時間しか与えられていないことが多く、詳細設計フェーズにおいて目標達成のための設計変更を行っているのが現状である。
こうした設計初期段階の環境の中で、多種多様な性能要求を同時に満足する解の選択には、過去のデータ・経験やCAE解析などを用いた性能の予測が有効になるが、過去の経験を超える範囲での予測は難しいし、CAE解析そのものにも時間や解析工数の確保などの限界がある。また多種多様な性能要求を同時に満足する解を選択するために与えられる条件自体が、ある幅を持った値で与えられる場合や、値そのものが後で変動する可能性を先に知らされる場合もある。車両開発の中では、ひとつの性能が他の性能に影響を及ぼさない完全に独立した性能項目は極まれで、多くの関連性能と相互に影響を及ぼしあっていることの方が普通である。このため多くの性能要求を同時に満足する解を得るためのツールには、次に述べる特徴が求められると考えた。
1)必要な解を得るために、与えられた設計仕様が存在できる範囲を把握する。
2)複数の目標性能の中で他性能へ与える影響が大きいものは何か、逆に感度の低い設計仕様は何かを確認する。
3)複数の目標性能を相互に満足できる解が得られなかった場合、どの目標性能をどちら側へどの程度変更すればいいのか、その時どの性能へ、どんな影響が出るのかを把握する。
4)これら設計仕様間の関係が視覚的に確認できると、相互の関係をより把握しやすくなる。
今回、発明者らは、多種多様な性能要求を同時に満足する設計解を得るためのツールとしてセットベース手法を取り上げ、2-3)項の1)〜4)の要求がどのように満たされるのかを、種々の性能要件が相互に影響しあう車体構造部品の一部であるドアビームを用いて検証した。我々が着目した『セットベース手法』には、a〜fのような特徴がある。
a)目標性能の設定を、設計者自身がある範囲を持たせて指定することができる。
b)指定した目標性能の範囲の中で設計者の意図を反映することができる。
c)得られる解は、与えられた目標性能を満足する範囲と、目標に対する達成度を持った形で得ることができる。
d)与えられた設計仕様の幅の中で全ての目標性能を満足する解が得られなかった場合、解を得るために修正すべき設計仕様とその設計仕様の変更量を効率的に求めることができる。
e)得られる解は、解を得るプロセスも含めて定量的に確認することができる。
f)設計初心者が設計してもベテラン設計者と同じ様な解が得られるのと同時に、設計者の意図を定量的に織り込むことができるため設計者の個性も発揮される。
実際のドアビ−ムでの事例で、セットベ−ス手法の活用手順を語句の説明も交えながら紹介する。
Preference Set-Based Design (PSD) というセットベース手法では、設計初期段階でポイント値ではなく幅広い集合としての設計解を求め、設計が進むにつれて徐々に現実性の乏しい解集合を除くことにより設計解集合を狭めていく。そのため、PSDでは設計解および要求性能に対して選好度 (Preference) 関数を導入することによって、選好度を反映しながら様々な不確実性による変化により柔軟に対応できるロバスト設計をその目的としている。
ここで、二つの設計変数dとtに対し図6に示す入力選好度を持つ初期設計解ISSに関して、図5に示す側突FEM解析による最大反力rfの性能値PPSを求める。この時、初期設計解ISSが連続値の選好度関数として表現されるため、それによる性能値PPSもある可能性分布を表す。

次に、最大反力rfの性能値PPSに対する可能性分布を、図8の手順に従って求める。すなわち、この手順では、まず、選好度が0(つまり最大の選好度の幅)の場合における性能値を、計算モデル(図7参照)を用いて得る。計算モデルとは、例えば応答曲面である。
ここで、実際の事例でのセットベ−スの活用事例を紹介する。
その結果を図20〜図24に示す。

Claims (3)
- コンピュータを用いて実行される次のステップを備えたことを特徴とする設計支援方法:
(1)設計変数範囲と、前記設計変数の入力選好度と、要求性能変数範囲と、前記要求性能の選好度とを設定するための命令を前記コンピュータが受け付けるステップ;
(2)前記コンピュータが、前記設計変数範囲を分割するための命令を受け付けるステップ;
(3)前記分割された設計変数範囲における性能の期待値およびロバスト性を統合的に評価するために、分割された各設計変数範囲について、以下の式に基づいて、前記コンピュータにおける算出手段がPRIを算出するステップ:

ここで、
NDPI:正規化されたDPI;
DPI:前記要求性能変数範囲における前記要求性能の選好度(p(x))と、前記設計変数範囲と前記設計変数の入力選好度とから得られる前記要求性能の可能性分布(q(x))とから算出される、性能の期待値;
NPSI:正規化されたPSI;
PSI:前記要求性能の可能性分布(q(x))の精度と安定性とを示す測度
である。 - さらに、コンピュータにより実行される次のステップを備えたことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の設計支援方法;
(4)前記PRIが0である場合には、該当する分割された設計変数範囲を、前記コンピュータにおける計算手段が、設計検討の対象から除外するステップ。 - 請求項1における前記可能性分布を算出するために、コンピュータにより実行される次のステップを備えたことを特徴とする可能性分布の算出方法:
(1)前記設計変数の入力選好度が0の場合における、設計対象についての性能値の可能性分布を示す計算モデルを、前記コンピュータの算出手段が算出するステップ;
(2)前記コンピュータにおける算出手段が、任意の入力選好度における設計変数に対応する性能値を、前記計算モデルを用いて内挿により算出することにより、前記可能性分布を取得するステップ。
