As the water stop member 18, for example, one having a substantially triangular cross section is used, and the bottom portion is attached to the movable support member 14 by adhesion or the like, and the top portion is crimped to the surfaces of the fixed support members 12 and 12. To do.

Therefore, the interval between the two plate-like members 14a and 14a is adjusted so that the fixed support members 12 and 12 can be sandwiched between the tops of the water blocking members 18 in the assembled state.

The joints 2 of the caissons 1 and 1 are filled with joint fillers 19 such as asphalt mastic as before.

For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the joint structure 10 of such a structure has a space between the joints 2 between the end faces 1 a with the fixed support members 12 and 12 attached to the recesses 11 of the caissons 1 and 1, respectively. After being installed facing each other, four water-stop members 18 are attached to the inside of the two plate-like members 14a and 14a, and the movable support member 14 connected by the distance adjusting bolt 15 and the nut 16 is suspended. Thus, the fixed support members 12, 12 are positioned between the tops of the water stop members 18.

At this time, if the distance between the two plate-like members 14a and 14a of the moving support member 14 is widened so that the top of the water stop member 18 is not in a crimped state, the suspension can be easily performed. After the suspension, the interval between the adjusting bolt 15 and the nut 16 is adjusted so that the water stop member 18 is crimped with a predetermined crimping force.

If it is difficult to tighten the adjusting bolt 15 and the nut 16 after the suspension at the work site, the adjustment bolt 15 and the nut 16 may be suspended after the interval adjustment.

After the assembly construction of the joint structure 10 is completed in this manner, the joint 2 is filled with a joint filler 19 such as asphalt mastic to complete the water shielding of the joint.

In the joint structure 10 and the construction method therefor constructed as described above, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the water stoppage even when the distance between the joints 2 is narrowed from the initial state at the time of installation or is widened open. Even when the member 18 is crimped to the fixed support members 12 and 12 and is displaced so that the joint 2 is displaced, the state where the water stop member 18 is crimped to the fixed support members 12 and 12 is maintained. The

As a result, even if a sudden movement such as during an earthquake occurs between the caissons 1 and 1, a completely water-impervious state can be maintained, and an impermeable formation is always maintained.

Even if the water stop member 18 is damaged, the water stop member 18 can be pulled up by pulling out the moving support member 14 together, and the interval adjusting bolt 15 and the nut 16 are loosened and stopped. By replacing the water member 18 and then inserting it again, the water stop member 18 can be easily replaced.

In the above-described embodiment, the water stop member 18 is attached to the inside of the two plate-like members 14a and 14a of the moving support member 14, but as shown in FIG. The water stop members 18 may be attached to both sides, and the plate-like members 14a and 14a of the movement support member 14 may be pressed and sealed. In this case, the protrusions 13 that prevent the water-stopping member 18 from coming off are provided at both ends of the two plate-like members 14 a and 14 a of the movement support member 14.

In the above embodiment, the movable support member 14 is configured as an integral structure in the height direction of the caisson 1, but as shown in FIG. 7, it is divided in the height direction of the caisson 1, and the connecting plate 14b is applied. It may be configured to be connected to each other, and in the construction, it is only necessary to repeat the connection to the upper end portion while inserting the divided parts so as to be suspended.
Thereby, the transportability to the field and workability can be improved.

Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the fixed support members 12 and 12 were attached to the recessed part 11 formed in the both sides of the end surface 1a of the caisson 1, the bracket 20 is attached to the side wall part of the caisson 1, as shown in FIG. You may make it attach so that it may protrude and may attach the fixed support members 12 and 12 so that it may oppose in the space | interval direction X of the joint 2 between these brackets 20 and 20. FIG.

Further, in the above embodiment, the water stop member 18 has been described as having a substantially triangular cross section, but as shown in FIG. 9, the water stop member 18A has a substantially semicircular cross section. Other shapes such as a substantially trapezoidal water-stopping member 18B can also be used.

Further, when the joint structure 10 of this structure is applied to an offshore structure, it is effective to improve the durability by subjecting the steel materials such as the fixed support member 12 and the movable support member 14 to rust prevention. Apply anticorrosion or rubber lining.

Furthermore, in the said embodiment, although the joint structure 10 was provided in the both ends of a caisson, it is good also as only one place of one end part or a center part, and also more places.

Moreover, in the said embodiment, although demonstrated in the case of applying to the joint of a caisson, it can apply similarly to the joint of not only a caisson but another structure.
