Description

The present invention relates to an envelope-integrated application form and a booklet-like medium that are preferably used for direct mail (DM) and the like.

A conventional DM uses a booklet-like medium in which an advertisement page, an application form, and terms and conditions are integrated. For example, this DM can be achieved by pasting the left end of all sheets with line glue and further reducing the top and bottom of the internal page except the top (top) and bottom (bottom). The upper and lower peripheral edges are glued in a U-shape and finished in a bag shape (for example, Patent Document 1).
By finishing in such a form, it is not necessary to prepare an envelope separately from the booklet, so that the cost of the envelope becomes unnecessary, and further, the work of putting the booklet into the envelope becomes unnecessary, so that cost reduction can be expected.
On the other hand, since the envelope formed in this manner is slightly different from general DM, an improvement in the opening rate can be expected.

However, if there is an application form page, a sealed letter (generally for reply by mail) is required for application, and there is a demand for this sealed letter to be provided in the booklet.
In this case, various methods are conceivable, and an idea of forming an envelope by bonding two base materials (many of paper) into a U-shape is considered. In the business form collating machine, since there is only one unit for pasting the U-shape, it becomes difficult to form a bag.

That is, (a) a simple booklet with an envelope or (b) a booklet without an envelope is an alternative. In many cases, the “booklet” of the plan (b) cannot be delivered as it is, and eventually an envelope is prepared separately. Therefore, the plan proceeds with the plan (a). However, since the envelope cannot be formed integrally, a normal envelope is thrown in and sealed without intentionally binding one of the three sides of the U-shape. This envelope throwing operation is basically a manual operation, and eventually requires a lot of cost and delivery time.

On the other hand, Patent Document 2 is a sealed letter that ensures the matching of public information (address) and confidential information (salary details) by printing on one side and folding it with some unique information exposed. A sheet for use is disclosed. This sealed sheet is considered to be suitable for use in the flow from a single company (B) to many employees and customers (C).
However, this sealed sheet is difficult to use when a large number of customers or prospective customers apply for a certain product or service to a single company, like the above-mentioned sealed reply letter.

As a result of earnest research, the present inventor has used the tack paper reversely for the purpose that the application form and the envelope can be handled in an integrated manner, that is, printing, printing, or filling in the application on the release paper side. In other words, the present invention has been found out that can be realized.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings and the like.
FIG. 1 is a view showing an envelope-integrated application form and a booklet-like medium according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention.
As shown in FIGS. 1B and 1C, an envelope-integrated application form 10 of Example 1 includes an information forming substrate 11 having an application entry surface 11a provided with an application column on its surface, and an information forming substrate. A release layer 12 formed on substantially the entire back surface of the material 11, a label substrate 13 having an address printing surface 13a provided with an address field, and an adhesive layer 14 for bonding the label substrate 13 and the release layer 12 together. And a cut line 15 that is formed on the peripheral portion of the upper side and the left and right sides of the information forming substrate 11 and exposes the adhesive allowance 14a of the adhesive layer 14.
The information forming substrate 11 uses a paper that can be printed by a predetermined printer or printable by a predetermined printer, or is subjected to a surface treatment having the same suitability.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1B, the envelope-integrated application form 10 includes a central fold line 16 that is folded in two to form an envelope, and a folded portion 17 at the tip that is folded inward to seal the envelope. It has.

In Example 1, the tack paper in which the tack base material, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the release paper are laminated in this order is used upside down, and the information forming base material 11 and the release layer 12 are formed of the release paper, and the label base material is used. By forming 13 with a tack base material, mass-produced products can be stably obtained from the market and can be manufactured at low cost.

As shown in FIG. 1A, the booklet-shaped medium 20 according to the first embodiment includes a plurality of booklet slips 21 to 26 in which the left end portions of all the sheets are bonded together with line glue (not shown). And an envelope-integrated application form 10 disposed in the middle of the booklet slips 21-26. Reference numeral 28 denotes a marginal part used for collation.
The booklet slips 21 to 26 can be separated from the top slip 21 and the top slip 21 by reducing the left and right dimensions of the inner slips 23 to 26 excluding the top slip (on the bag) 21 and the bottom slip (under the bag) 22. The upper and lower edges and the right edge of the lower vote 22 are glued together with a U-shaped glue part to form a bag. In this way, the booklet-like medium 20 is attached to the bottom slip 22 and the top slip 21 and mailed, and the applicant opens the perforation 29 and uses it.

FIG. 2 illustrates a method of using the envelope-integrated application form 10 of the first embodiment (how to create an application form).
First, the applicant extracts the envelope-integrated application form 10 from the booklet-shaped medium 20 (see arrow A in FIG. 1), and fills the application entry surface 11a of the information forming substrate 11 of the envelope-integrated application form 10 with necessary information. Fill in (# 1).
Next, the peripheral edge portion 11b of the information forming substrate 11 is cut by the left and right cut lines 15 (see arrow B), and the adhesive allowance 14a of the adhesive layer 14 is exposed, and the application entry surface 11a of the information forming substrate 11 is displayed. On the inside, it is folded in two at the center fold line 16 (see arrow C) to form an envelope (# 2).
Finally, the release paper (the information forming substrate 11 and the release layer 12) of the folded portion 17 at the tip is peeled off (see arrow D), folded inside (see arrow E), and the envelope 10 is sealed (# 3). .

In this way, by forming the folded portion 17, it is possible to satisfy the first type mail standard (short side of 12 cm or less). In the case of the form as shown in FIG. 1, if the uppermost sheet 21 on the bag and the lowermost sheet 22 under the bag are 12 inches in the top and bottom, the pages (booklet sheets 21 to 26) are as follows: Usually 11 to 11.5 inches. That is, since the application form 10 at this time becomes 11 to 11.5 inches (= 279.4 to 292.1 mm), if it is simply folded in half, the size becomes about 140 to 146 mm.
If the application form 10 is narrow and within the short side standard, it will still satisfy the first type postal standard, but if it is a standard application form close to A4 size, it will still be as in Example 1. The folded portion 17 is preferably folded back into three.

As described above, in Example 1, the peripheral portions 11b and 11c of the information forming substrate 11 are cut off by the cut line 15, the adhesive allowance 14a of the adhesive layer 14 is exposed, and the information forming substrate 11 is folded inside. By forming the envelope with, the application form and the envelope can be handled integrally with a simple configuration.

Further, the envelope-integrated application form 10 of Example 1 has the following advantages compared to the above-described envelope sheet of Patent Document 2.
(A) Since there is no need to leave the public information part (the sending part is basically one place), the secret information part can be reliably protected.
(B) By devising how to fold, it is possible to reliably enclose the enclosed items and to withstand mailing (delivery).
On the other hand, since the sealing sheet of patent document 2 has an opening sewing machine in a peripheral part, it may break a bag during mailing.
In addition, since the inclusions must be put before folding, the inclusions may stick to the sealing margin if not used.

FIG. 3 is a view showing Example 2 of an envelope-integrated application form according to the present invention.
In each of the embodiments described below, parts having the same functions as those of the above-described first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals or unified reference numerals, and repeated descriptions and drawings are appropriately omitted.
As shown in FIGS. 2 (b) and 2 (c), the envelope-integrated application form 10B of Example 2 includes an opening zipper 18 formed on the non-peripheral part (part other than the peripheral part) of the label base material 13. The point provided is different from the first embodiment. The opening zipper 18 is formed at a substantially center in the width direction from below the center folding line 16 to before the folding position F.

Next, with reference to FIGS. 3D and 3E, a method of using the envelope-integrated application form 10 of the first embodiment (how to take out the application form) will be described.
As shown by an arrow H in FIG. 3 (e), the envelope (label base material 13) is broken from the opening zipper 18 in the vertical direction as shown by an arrow G in FIG. The application form (information forming substrate 11) inside can be taken out.
According to the second embodiment, since the opening zipper 18 is provided, in addition to the effects of the first embodiment, it is possible to easily and reliably open the envelope while preventing inadvertent opening during mailing. There is.

FIG. 4 is a view showing a modification of the envelope-integrated application form according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention.
This envelope-integrated application 10B-2 is formed by forming the opening zipper 18B below the folding position F and providing an exposure hole 19 in the approximate center of the folded portion 17 at the tip.
In this way, only the tip portion of the opening zipper 18B appears from the exposed hole 19 of the folded portion 17, and is protected at a position one step lower than the layered structure, further increasing the risk of inadvertent opening during mailing. Can be reduced.

FIG. 5 is a view showing a modified example of the opening zipper 18 of the envelope-integrated application form according to the second embodiment.
The opening zipper 18C is a long semicircular cut portion provided in the upper center portion, and the opening zipper 18D is a mountain-shaped cut portion provided in the left and right upper portions.
Further, the opening zipper 18D is a long semicircular cut portion provided on the upper left side and a perforation following it, and the opening zipper 18F is formed by forming only a perforation extending left and right on the upper portion. .
Further, the opening zipper 18 </ b> G is provided in the folding perforation 16.
Thus, if the opening zipper 18 is in a non-periphery part, it can be designed freely regardless of the shape, length, size, and number.

FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a third embodiment of an envelope-integrated application form according to the present invention, and FIG. 7 illustrates a method of using the envelope-integrated application form 10C according to the third embodiment (how to create an application form).
In the third embodiment, the configuration and method of use are basically the same as those in the second embodiment, but the folded portion 17 at the tip is omitted and the length in the vertical direction is reduced from 12 inches to 9 inches.
In this way, since the application form 10C is 208 mm, even if it is folded in half, the short side is 104 mm, and the first-class mail standard can be satisfied.
The third embodiment has an advantage that the work of making the application form as an envelope is further simplified by reducing the vertical dimension.

FIG. 8 is a diagram showing an envelope-integrated application form and a booklet-shaped medium according to Embodiment 4 of the present invention.
The envelope-integrated application form 10D is formed of tack paper (tack base material, adhesive layer and release paper) as in the above-described embodiments, and the release paper at the peripheral edge is peeled off and sealed to form an application form. Since the booklet-shaped medium 20D does not need to insert an envelope as in the prior art.
For this reason, the booklet-shaped medium 20D according to the fourth embodiment is not necessarily formed into a bag shape, and therefore, only the line glue L formed on the peripheral portion on the left side is bound. In this case, although it does not conform to the standard of the first type mail, other delivery means (for example, mail service etc.) may be used.
Further, since the booklet-shaped medium 20D is not formed in a bag shape, the booklet slips 23 to 27 have an increased number of sheets to be bound and can be increased up to 13 pt.
The envelope-integrated application form 10D shown in FIG. 8 (b) may be a two-fold type (same as Example 3) that can form an envelope most easily as long as it is up to 9 inches (228.6 mm). Since the first type mail standard is satisfied, the reply can be mailed.
