遊技機島が有する上枠板と下枠板との間に挿入された遊技機を前記遊技機島に固定する遊技機固定装置において、
前記下枠板を臨むように前記上枠板に形成された貫通部に通され、下端に硬質の高摩擦部材が設けられた押圧用ピストンと、
前記押圧用ピストンを前記貫通部に沿って下降させ、前記押圧用ピストンの下端に設けた前記高摩擦部材で前記遊技機を上方から前記下枠板へ向けて押圧する押圧位置に前記押圧用ピストンを保持する押下機構と、
前記遊技機島の外部で受けた操作力を伝達して前記押下機構を作動させる伝達手段と
を有し、
前記押下機構は、
カム部が形成され、かつ前記伝達手段が接続されたレバーと、前記カム部に当接された揺動部材とを備え、
前記伝達手段を通じて受けた前記操作力によって前記レバーが回動すると前記カム部の凸側で前記揺動部材を押圧して揺動させ、この揺動に応じて前記押圧用ピストンを前記押圧位置へ下降させて保持すると共に、
前記揺動部材と前記押圧用ピストンとの間に介在すると共に、一端側から他端側に向けて厚みが増加し、かつ前記揺動部材に設けられたスリットに嵌め込まれこのスリットに沿ってスライド移動することで前記厚みの増減する方向に往来移動可能に設けられたアジャスト部材と、
前記アジャスト部材を、前記揺動部材と前記押圧用ピストンとの間に介在する箇所での厚みが増加する方向へ付勢する付勢部材と、
前記アジャスト部材を前記厚みが増加する方向の反対側へ引き寄せた初期位置に保持すると共に、前記伝達手段を通じて受けた前記操作力によって回動した前記レバーが前記カム部の凸側で前記揺動部材の押圧を開始する前の所定の姿勢になったとき、前記アジャスト部材の保持を解除する保持手段と、
を有し、
前記レバーの回動により前記保持が解除されたとき、前記付勢部材に付勢された前記アジャスト部材が前記揺動部材と前記押圧用ピストンとの間に進出し前記押圧用ピストンを下降させて前記高摩擦部材の先端が前記遊技機の上面に当接した状態が形成される
