Description
The present invention relates to a switch having a tilt detection unit that supports an operation rod on a case and electrically detects a tilting operation of the operation rod.
There exists what was described in patent document 1 as a composite operation switch comprised as mentioned above. In Patent Document 1, an operation rod (operation shaft in the literature) is provided for a case having a structure in which a first case, a second case, and a third case are overlapped, and is integrated with a lower end position of the operation rod. A drive member is externally fitted to be rotatable (co-rotating) and movable in the axial direction of the operating rod, and a disk-shaped swing contact plate made of a conductor is provided on the drive member so as to rotate integrally. The rotating member is engaged with the driving member so as to rotate integrally.
A fixed contact is provided at a position surrounding the operation rod in a cross shape on the lower surface side of the machine base portion of the first case arranged at the upper part of the case, and a compression spring made of a conductor such as a metal wire is brought into contact with the swing contact plate, The lower end of the compression spring is brought into contact with a common fixed contact (described later). When the operating rod is tilted (swinged), the fixed contact and the swinging contact plate come into contact with each other to reach a conductive state, and this tilting direction can be electrically detected (tilt detection unit of the present invention).
A code pattern made of a conductor such as metal is formed on the inner surface of the second case arranged in the middle of the case, and a slider that contacts the code pattern is provided on the lower surface side of the rotating member. When the operating rod is rotated, the rotation angle is detected as an encoded electrical signal from the contact between the code pattern and the slider.
A central fixed contact is disposed in the center of the inner surface of the bottom wall portion of the third case disposed on the bottom wall portion of the case, a common fixed contact is disposed at this external position, and a movable contact having a dome-shaped bulge portion is provided. The periphery is in contact with the common fixed contact and is separated from the central fixed contact. Further, a pressing member is disposed on the upper portion of the bulging portion of the movable contact, and the lower end of the operation rod is disposed in contact with the upper end of the pressing member. When the operating rod is pushed in, the operating force from the operating rod is elastically deformed until the bulging portion of the movable contact contacts the central fixed contact, and the common fixed contact and the central fixed contact reach a conductive state. Thus, this pushing operation is electrically detected.
In this way, when the movable contact having a dome-shaped bulge is elastically deformed and an electrical detection state appears, it is possible to create a click feeling when the movable contact is elastically deformed. It is also possible to grasp from the click feeling the timing at which the rod pressing operation is electrically detected.
In a switch such that the swing contact plate and the fixed electrode come into contact with each other during the tilting operation of the operation rod as in Patent Document 1, the control rod reaches the tilt limit because the swing contact plate contacts the fixed electrode. The person who operates the switch can grasp from the touch that the operating rod has been operated to the tilt limit.
However, this type of switch is provided with a spring that biases the operating rod to a neutral posture as described in Patent Document 1, and when the operating rod is tilted, the spring increases as the operation amount increases. The urging force is strongly applied, and it is difficult to grasp from the touch that the operating rod has been operated to the tilt limit.
In order to eliminate such inconvenience, for example, by using the same structure as the movable contact and the central fixed contact provided for detecting the push-in operation of the operating rod in Patent Document 1, the click feeling that the tilting operation has been performed is used. However, since a relatively thin metal plate or the like is used for the movable contact, it may be damaged when a strong pressure is applied, and there is room for improvement.
In particular, for a switch that is used in an environment in which a high force is frequently applied and a strong force is easily applied, such as a switch provided in a video game controller, a tilting operation that can be appropriately grasped and that has high durability is desired.
An object of the present invention is to rationally configure a highly durable switch that can grasp a tilting operation with a touch.
A feature of the present invention is that the switch includes a tilt detection unit that supports the operation rod on the case and electrically detects the tilt operation of the operation rod.
A position where the tilt detection unit surrounds the operation rod with a spring plate material made of a conductor elastically deformed by the action of a pressing force and a pair of electrodes that reach a conductive state by contact with the spring plate material when the spring plate material is elastically deformed. And an actuating body that tilts with the tilting of the operating rod to apply a pressing force to the spring plate material, and the actuating body forms a pressing operation portion at a position away from the operating rod. A buffer body sandwiched between the pressing operation portion and the spring plate material is provided , and the buffer body is made of a material that can be flexibly deformed in a ring shape disposed between the plurality of spring plate materials and the operating body. The ring member is formed integrally with the ring member, the ring member is formed in a sheet shape, and the buffer body is formed in a form protruding on the front and back of the ring member. Arranged superimposed spring ring made of spring material lies in that through the cushion against the hole portion formed in the spring ring.
With this configuration, when the operation lever is tilted, the operating body tilts, and the spring plate material corresponding to the tilting direction is elastically deformed by the pressure applied from the pressing operation portion of the operating body to contact the pair of electrodes. In this state, the tilting operation can be electrically detected, and the spring plate material is elastically deformed, so that a click feeling is created during the elastic deformation, and the tilting operation is electrically detected from the click feeling. Can be reached. Further, since the buffer body is provided between the pressing operation portion of the operating body and the spring plate material, when a strong force is applied, the buffer body intensively applies pressure to the spring plate material from the press operation portion. This suppresses the phenomenon and prevents the spring plate material from being damaged. As a result, it was possible to grasp the tilting operation with a touch, and a highly durable switch was rationally constructed.
Further, even in a switch in which a plurality of spring plate members are arranged at positions that surround the operation rod, by providing the ring member so that the operation rod is at the center of the ring member, a plurality of shock absorbers can be attached to the spring plate member. And the pressing operation part of the operating body. Furthermore, even if the ring member has a low shape retaining property, such as a silicon rubber molded into a sheet shape, by inserting the buffer formed integrally with the ring member into the hole of the spring plate material, The shape of the ring member can be maintained, and at the same time, the buffer body can be maintained in an appropriate posture at an appropriate position.
The present invention includes a push detection unit that electrically detects the push operation of the operation rod in the direction along the rod axis, and a rotation detection unit that electrically detects the rotation operation of the operation rod, The operating body can be rotated relative to the operating rod around the rod axis, can be relatively moved along the rod axis, and can be tilted together with the operating rod when tilted. You may support by external fitting.
With this configuration, when the operating rod is pushed in, the operating rod moves in the direction of the rod axis without applying the pushing operation force to the operating body, and this movement is detected by the push-in detection unit. When the rod is rotated, the operating rod rotates without applying a rotational force to the operation, and the rotation detection unit detects this rotation.
In the present invention, the indentation detecting portion and the rotation detecting portion are disposed on the bottom wall portion of the case, and the tilt detecting portion is formed at an intermediate position in the direction along the rod axis in the case. The spring plate material and the electrode may be arranged on the upper surface side of the first and the actuating bodies may be arranged on the upper side, and the buffer body may be arranged between the actuating body and the spring plate material.
With this configuration, by arranging the tilt detection unit above the indentation detection unit and the rotation detection unit, it is possible to arrange the operating body and the buffer at a position that does not affect the indentation detection unit and the rotation detection unit. It becomes possible.

The
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the outer diameter of the

〔assembly〕
In this composite operation switch, after the tilt detection unit A is assembled to the
The order of assembly is not limited to this. For example, after the push-in detection unit B and the rotation detection unit C are assembled to the
Specifically, the
When this connection is performed, the
Further, a
When this connection is performed, the
In the composite operation switch thus assembled, the urging force from the
The
[Detection type]
When the operating
When the operating
In addition, when the operating
When the operating
When the
Further, when the operating
Further, when the operating
[Characteristic functions of the present invention]
Thus, according to the present invention, when the operating
The
