Description
The present invention relates to a power assist type moving body such as a cart or a wheelchair.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, so-called power assist type carts, wheelchairs, etc. have been proposed in which the driving torque of a motor is controlled according to the operating force of an operator and the operating force is assisted by the motor.
For example, the cart has a handle for pushing, and the wheelchair has a hand rim for manual operation of the passenger. A cart or a wheelchair includes a torque sensor or a potentiometer that operates in conjunction with an operation unit such as a handle or a hand rim, and detects an operation force using the torque sensor or the potentiometer. (For example, see
In the case of a power assist type cart or the like, a control system that responds at high speed in response to a change in the mass of a load such as the cart or the acceleration or deceleration of the cart or the like is necessary. Further, the operation force of the operator becomes smaller as the mass (total mass) of the carriage including the load is smaller. For this reason, it is desired to reduce the moment of inertia of the carriage or the like and to make the mass of the carriage apparently small.
On the other hand, conventional power-assist type trolleys generate motor drive torque in response to operating force, but do not consider load torque, so the inertia moment of trolleys, etc. is reduced and the mass of the trolley is reduced. It cannot be made apparently small. Therefore, a high-speed response cannot be made to a change in the mass of a load such as a carriage or acceleration or deceleration of the carriage. Also, the mass of the carriage cannot be made apparently small. For this reason, the operability of the carriage or the like is poor, and the apparent mass of the carriage cannot be reduced. Therefore, the impact at the time of collision of the carriage or the like is great, and there is a problem in driving safety.
Further, since a conventional power assist type cart or the like detects an operation force by a torque sensor or a potentiometer that is linked to an operation unit such as a handle or a hand rim, the operation force cannot be detected unless the operation unit is operated. Therefore, the power assist is not started unless the operator operates the operation unit.
The present invention is superior in operability and safety in view of the above-mentioned problems of the moving body such as the conventional power assist type carriage, and operates the moving body from a portion other than the operating portion such as the handle or hand rim of the moving body. It is an object of the present invention to provide a power assist type moving body that can start power assist.

A power assist type moving body according to a fourth aspect is the power assist type moving body according to the first, second, or third aspect, wherein the moving body is a carriage or a wheelchair.
A moving body such as a carriage of the present invention estimates the equivalent moment of inertia and mass of the carriage, which is a mechanical parameter that is difficult to adjust, and converts the estimated mass into an electric current for equivalently changing the converted mass. By changing and adjusting the lower current, the estimated mass of the cart or the like can be arbitrarily adjusted (variable), and the total mass of the cart or the like can be apparently reduced. Therefore, the burden on the operator is reduced, and the operability of the carriage is improved because the carriage can be accelerated and decelerated or a high-speed response can be made to changes in the total mass of the carriage. Further, since the total mass of the cart or the like is apparently reduced, the impact when the cart or the like collides is reduced, and the safety is increased.
In the rolling friction torque / downward torque compensation unit, the moving body such as the carriage of the present invention adjusts (varies) the assist rate with respect to the downward torque, for example, by leaving the force that the carriage tries to lower on an inclined road surface, When the trolley or the like is pushed, it can be operated as if the trolley is actually pushed on an inclined road surface.
Since the moving body such as a cart of the present invention uses an accelerometer without using a torque sensor or a potentiometer, the assist can be started even when an operating force is applied to a part other than the operating unit such as a handle of the cart. Therefore, the carriage can be operated by applying a force to a part away from the operation unit such as a handle. In that case, if the thing of the structure which can change the direction of a wheel arbitrarily is used, a trolley | bogie can be operated from an arbitrary site | part and can be made to drive | work to an arbitrary direction. Further, when the carriage collides, the carriage generates an acceleration opposite to the direction in which the carriage has traveled so far. Therefore, the carriage tries to run in the opposite direction, so that the impact of the collision is reduced and safety is increased.

If the direction of travel of the carriage is reversed and the direction of rotation of the wheels is reversed, for example, the rolling friction torque is compensated when the carriage moves forward from the state where the carriage is pushed and moved backward. Will be described. In such a case, the wheel temporarily stops and turns to the next instantaneous reverse rotation. Therefore, to compensate for the rolling friction torque, it is necessary to compensate for the rolling friction torque having the reverse polarity. Therefore, the present invention detects the direction of rotation of the wheel, and when the direction of rotation changes, generates a compensation torque for the rolling friction torque having a reverse polarity to that of the current state based on the direction of rotation information. Therefore, when the rotation direction of the wheel is changed, a (−) polarity code is added to the compensation torque. Thus, in the present invention, in order to improve the operability of the carriage, careful consideration is given assuming reverse rotation of the wheels. The rotational direction information of the wheel is generated based on the rotational speed detected by the speed sensor attached to the motor in the rotational speed detector 67. The rotational speed of the wheel may be directly detected by a speedometer attached to the wheel axle.
When the traveling road surface of the carriage is flat and hard and smooth, the descending torque and the rolling friction torque become small. Therefore, the rolling friction torque / descending

In FIG. 1, when the wheel diameter is D, the total mass of the wheel is m, the speed of the carriage is v, the rolling friction coefficient of the road is μ, and the inclination of the road is θ, the vehicle is constantly driven without any human force. the axle torque T S and the wheel rotation angular velocity ω of the time you are, can be obtained by (1) and (2) below.
Here, the

The wheel angular velocity ω of the motor angular velocity and the
Next, a procedure for estimating the mass of the carriage using the acceleration of the carriage speed v will be described.
When the pushing force of the operator is applied to the carriage, axle torque T S acceleration torque is applied to the carriage is (5).
Equation (5) is the sum of the acceleration torque of the first term and the rolling friction torque / downward torque of the second term. Accordingly, when the carriage is traveling at a constant speed, no acceleration torque is generated. Therefore, the carriage may be supplied with torque that compensates for the rolling friction torque and the descending torque in the two terms. When the operator tries to stop the carriage, the first term in equation (5) becomes the deceleration torque. The same applies when the truck collides.
In
Estimated rolling friction coefficient μ (μ with ^) uses estimated mass, road surface inclination angle θ, and armature current i a0 when cart acceleration is 0. It can be obtained from equation (10) using equation 7).
The rolling friction torque /
Here, in order to cope with the case where the traveling direction of the carriage is reversed and the wheel rotates in the reverse direction, when calculating the equation (11), the estimated rolling friction coefficient (based on the rotational direction information from the rotational speed detection unit 67) (+) And (-) polarity signs are attached to ^), and the motor current required to compensate the rolling friction torque is calculated. Note that the estimated rolling friction coefficient is constant regardless of the rotational direction of the wheel, but is given a polarity sign for calculation of compensation of the rolling friction torque.
The calculation and signal processing of the control system in FIG. 3 are performed by a computer. FIG. 4 shows the configuration of the computer and the signal processing portion.
The outputs of the current detector, speedometer, accelerometer, and tilt angle sensor are converted into digital signals by the AD converter ADC of the computer PC and processed by the CPU. The processed signals are converted into analog signals by the DA converter DAC. Converted and supplied to the current controller. It is also possible to process the digital signal as it is without converting it to an analog signal. The CPU operates with a clock supplied via the digital input / output circuit DIO.
台車のパラメータの値は、Ra=0.13Ω、La=0.5mH、KE=0.076Vs/rad、KT=0.076Nm/A、Jm=0.00045kgm2、D=0.12m、KS=0.0002rad/Nm、N=13、θ=5度である。
FIG. 5 shows the experimental results of estimating the mass of the bogie and the rolling friction coefficient of the road surface when the bogie is running. FIG. 5 (a) shows the estimated mass, and FIG. 5 (b) shows the estimated rolling friction. Indicates the coefficient.
FIG. 5 estimated in the range of the total mass of a cart 80-170 kg. The total mass of the carriage used in the experiment was 80 kg when the load was 0, so the experiment was conducted from a mass of 80 kg.
The parameter values of the carriage are Ra = 0.13Ω, La = 0.5 mH, K E = 0.076 Vs / rad, K T = 0.076 Nm / A, J m = 0.00045 kgm 2 , D = 0.12 m , K S = 0.0002 rad / Nm, N = 13, θ = 5 degrees.
According to Fig.5 (a), the estimated mass corresponds with a real amount (straight line), and it turns out that the estimation of mass is performed correctly.
Further, according to FIG. 5B, the estimated rolling friction coefficient coincides with the actual rolling friction coefficient (straight line) and is constant regardless of the total mass of the carriage, so that the rolling friction coefficient is correctly estimated. I understand that.
The carriage of the present embodiment estimates the equivalent inertia moment of the carriage, which is a mechanical parameter that is difficult to adjust, estimates the mass of the carriage using the estimated equivalent inertia moment, and equivalently estimates the estimated mass. Since the current can be converted into a current to be changed and the current can be adjusted (variable) by changing the mass adjustment coefficient, the mass of the carriage can be arbitrarily and arbitrarily adjusted by an electric circuit, and can be apparently reduced. Therefore, the burden on the operator is reduced, and the operability of the carriage is improved because the carriage can be accelerated, decelerated or a high-speed response can be made to the change in the total mass. Further, since the total mass of the carriage is apparently reduced, the impact when the carriage collides is reduced, and the safety is increased.
Furthermore, the cart of the present embodiment adjusts (changes) the assist rate for the downward torque in the rolling torque / downward torque compensation unit, for example, by leaving the force to lower the cart on an inclined road surface. Since it can be operated in the same way as actually pushing a cart on an inclined road surface, the operability of the cart is improved.
Moreover, since the cart of this embodiment uses an accelerometer without using a torque sensor or a potentiometer, the assist can be started even when a force is applied to a portion other than the handle of the cart. Therefore, the carriage can be operated by applying a force to a part away from the handle. In that case, if the thing of the structure which can change the direction of a wheel arbitrarily is used, a trolley | bogie can be operated from an arbitrary site | part and can be made to drive | work to an arbitrary direction. Further, when the carriage collides, the carriage generates acceleration in the direction opposite to the direction in which the carriage has traveled so far, so that the carriage tries to run in the opposite direction, so that the impact of the collision is reduced and safety is increased.
