Description
本発明の第1実施形態にかかる燃料電池用スタックを備える高分子電解質型燃料電池(PEFC)の概略構成を示す模式構成図を図1に示す。また、図1に示す燃料電池101が備える燃料電池用スタック(以降、スタックという。)の模式分解図を図2に示す。
次に、本発明の第2の実施形態にかかる電極−膜−枠接合体210の構造について、図9及び図10に示す模式斜視図を用いて以下に説明する。なお、本第2実施形態の電極−膜−枠接合体210において、上記第1実施形態の電極−膜−枠接合体10と同じ構成部分には同じ参照番号を付してその説明を省略する。
次に、本発明の第3の実施形態にかかる電極−膜−枠接合体510の構造について、図17及び図18に示す模式斜視図を用いて以下に説明する。なお、本第3実施形態の電極−膜−枠接合体510において、上記第1実施形態の電極−膜−枠接合体10と同じ構成部分には同じ参照番号を付してその説明を省略する。

Claims (2)
- 高分子電解質膜の周縁部より内側の両面に電極層が配置され、かつ、上記電極層を一対のセパレータで挟んで構成される単電池モジュールを複数個積層した燃料電池において、
上記電解質膜の周縁部を挟持する枠体は、樹脂からなり、かつ、上記電極層の端部との間に空間を有すると共に上記電解質膜の周縁部に沿って上記電解質膜の膜面中央側に向けて突出する凹凸部を連続的に備え、上記枠体の凹部の上記電解質膜を介して対向する位置に上記枠体の凸部が配置され、
上記枠体の内縁において弾性部材が連結して形成され、上記弾性部材によって前記空間が埋められてなる、燃料電池。 - 上記弾性部材は、上記枠体のセパレータ側表面よりも***して形成されている、請求項1記載の燃料電池。
