【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、レンズ鏡筒の構造、特にレンズ鏡筒への電装部材の配置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、レンズ鏡筒内にはシャッタ機構,絞り機構,フォーカス機構,ズーム機構等が配置されているため、それらを駆動する駆動源や位置検出手段なとをレンズ鏡筒内に配置する必要があるが、それらに接続されるフレキシブルプリント基板(以下、FPCと記載する)は、撮影光路中に侵入させないようにすることが必要である。

特許文献1に開示されたレンズ鏡筒においては、レンズ枠と共に光軸に沿って進退移動するシャッタユニットに対して、シャッタ駆動用のFPCが接続されており、上記シャッタ駆動用のFPCは、特殊形状に形成されており、上記FPCは、上記シャッタユニットの移動に伴って撮影光路中に侵入しないような形で変形する。

また、特許文献2に開示されたレンズ鏡筒においては、ズームモータ,フォーカスモータ,ズームおよびフォーカスリセットセンサ,IGメータ(可変絞り駆動源)が固定部材に固着された状態でレンズ鏡筒の略四辺形の隅部にそれぞれ配置されている。この従来例では、電気部材が固定された部材に取り付けられており、接続用FPCをレンズ鏡筒内で移動させる必要がなく、FPCの光路内侵入防止構造が不要である。

さらに、特許文献3に開示されたレンズ鏡筒は、光軸に沿って進退移動するシャッタユニット付きフォーカス枠(すなわち、フォーカスレンズ枠)を有しており、上記シャッタユニット駆動用のソレノイドおよび上記フォーカス枠駆動用のフォーカスモータが固定枠に固着されている。このレンズ鏡筒においても接続用FPCをレンズ鏡筒内で移動させる必要がなく、FPCの光路内侵入防止構造が不要である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記特許文献1による上記レンズ鏡筒においては、レンズ鏡筒内部に移動する上記FPCが配置されるため、上記FPCが駆動負荷となったり、撮影光路内に上記FPCが侵入しないようにする構造を採用する必要があり、レンズ鏡筒の小型化が困難であった。また、移動するレンズ枠とともにズームモータやフォーカスモータが変位するスペースを確保する必要があり、これもまた小型化を阻害していた。さらには、上記レンズ枠を繰り返し進退させることにより、上記FPCが破損する恐れもあった。

また、上記特許文献2による上記レンズ鏡筒においては、上記モータなどの電気部品が固定枠に取り付けられているため、上記レンズ鏡筒内を上記接続用FPCが移動することはないが、上記各種モータ等の駆動源の配置が上記レンズ鏡筒の略直方体形状の各隅に配置するため、上記レンス鏡筒の小型化、特に薄型化が困難である。また、上記モータなとが外部に露呈しているため、塵埃の侵入や、衝撃により破損の恐れもあった。
また、上記特許文献3による上記レンズ鏡筒においては、可動の上記フォーカス枠に対して、上記フォーカスモータ、上記シャッタ駆動用ソレノイトとが別の枠である上記固定枠に取り付けられている。しかし、レンズ鏡筒の一部しか示されておらず、上記フォーカスモータ等への接続FPCのレイアウトについては何ら示されていない。

一方、従来の銀塩フィルムカメラ、デジタルカメラ、ビデオカメラなどを含むカメラに対して一層の小型化、特に薄型化が要求されており、それを実現するためには、レンズ鏡筒の小型化、薄型化が不可欠である。

本発明は、上述の事情に鑑みてなされたものであって、レンズ鏡筒への電装部材の配置を改善し、信頼性が高く、かつ、小型化、薄型化が可能なレンズ鏡筒を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の第1のレンズ鏡筒は、第1の光軸に沿った被写体からの光束を直角に反射させ、第2の光軸に沿うように反射させる反射光学部材と、上記反射光学部材を保持する第1の保持枠と、上記第2の光軸に沿って配置される複数のレンズ群と、上記複数のレンズ群のうちの一つのレンズ群を保持する第2の保持枠と、上記第2の保持枠を上記第2の光軸に沿って移動可能に内包し、上記第1の保持枠が固定される枠部材と、上記第2の保持枠を駆動するための駆動源であって、上記第1の光軸と上記第2の光軸とにより形成される光軸面と略平行に形成された上記枠部材の第1の外壁に沿うように固定される駆動源と、開口部を開閉し、上記第2の光軸方向に対して上記第2の保持枠と一体的に変位可能に配設されたシャッタ手段と、上記光軸面に略直交し、上記第1の外壁に隣接して形成された上記枠部材の第2の外壁に配され、上記第2の保持枠の位置を検出するための検出手段と、上記シャッタ手段を駆動し、かつ、上記第1の保持枠内において上記第2の光軸に対して上記駆動源が配される側に固定して配されると共に、上記枠部材における上記第1の外壁と上記第2の外壁の一部を覆うように当該枠部材に固定して配設されるフレキシブルプリント基板であって、上記駆動源に設けられた端子と、上記検出手段に設けられた、上記枠部材の外面側に位置して配された電気的な接続を取るための検出手段用接続部とが接続されるフレキシブルプリント基板にその電気的な接続を取るためのシャッタ駆動手段用接続部が接続されたシャッタ駆動手段と、を具備することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図に基づいて説明する。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態であるレンズ鏡筒を内蔵する電子カメラの分解斜視図である。

なお、以下の説明において、図1に示すように被写体光束の入射方向である第1の光軸O1 に沿った方向をZ方向とし、電子カメラの被写体側方向のZ(+)方向を前方、カメラ背面側方向のZ(−)方向を後方とする。Z方向に垂直な方向で上下方向をY方向とし、Y(+)方向を上方向、Y(−)方向を下方向とする。Z方向に垂直な方向で左右方向をX方向とし、カメラを被写体側からみてX(+)方向を右方向、X(−)方向を右方向とする。

図1に示すように本実施形態の電子カメラ1は、所謂、デジタルカメラであり、外装部材である前カバー2および後カバー3を有し、上記前カバー2と、後カバー3内に収納される構成ユニットとしてレンズ鏡筒10と、電気基板ユニット5と、電源ユニット6と、ストロボユニット7と、ストロボチャージ用コンデンサ8と、表示ユニットであるLCDユニット9と、さらに、ベースフレーム24とを有してなる。

上記レンズ鏡筒10は、カメラ装着状態でX,Y平面に沿った前面部をもち、長手方向がY方向であって、Z方向に比較的薄い厚みをもつ略直方体形状の外形を有し、その上方部には、第1の光軸O1 (Z方向)に沿った被写体光束を取り込むための折り曲げ光学系を形成する反射光学部材のプリズム33が収納される。なお、レンズ鏡筒上面後部は、傾斜面31c(図3)が形成されている。

上記電気基板ユニット5は、上記レンズ鏡筒10の側方に配され、後述する電子カメラの電気回路の各制御要素が実装される3枚のプリント基板18,19,20を有し、上記プリント基板20の内側には、記録メディアスロット21が実装されている。プリント基板18,19,20は、フレキシブルプリント基板(以下、FPCと記載する)22,23により連結接続され、上記光軸O1 方向に3枚重ね状態で収納される。

上記LCDユニット9は、X,Y平面に沿った表示面を有する液晶表示板であるLCD表示板15と、LCD表示板15の上側位置に配置され、X方向に延びるLCD照明用光源16と、略LCD表示板15の反表示面側を覆う導光板17とを有してなる。上記導光板17は、Y方向に肉厚が変化する部材であって、光源側の上方が厚肉、下方が薄肉で形成される。

上記各構成ユニットの前,後カバー2,3内への収納状態について説明すると、まず、金属板で形成され、XY面に広がる平面をもつベースフレーム24の中央部にレンズ鏡筒10の前面部(第2の外壁32j)を当て付けてビス25により締結固定する。ベースフレーム24の左側のレンズ鏡筒10に隣接した状態で電気基板ユニット5のプリント基板20側がメディアスロット21とともにビス25により締結固定される。さらに、ベースフレーム24の右側のレンズ鏡筒10に隣接した状態で電源ユニット6がビス25により締結され、レンズ鏡筒10,電気基板ユニット5,電源ユニット6が一体化される。さらに、ストロボユニット7が電源ユニット6の上部に固定され、ストロボチャージ用コンデンサ8がストロボユニット7の後方からレンズ鏡筒10の上部傾斜面31cの後方まで進入した状態で固着される。

一方、LCDユニット9は、後カバー3の内部にLCD表示板15の表示面を開口部3aに対向させた状態で固定配置される。

レンズ鏡筒10,電気基板ユニット5,電源ユニット6が取り付けられたベースフレーム24は、上記前カバー2と上記後カバー3内に挟み込まれた状態で収納され、上記前カバー2と上記後カバー3とを締結することによって固定され、電子カメラ1として完成する。

ここで、本実施形態の電子カメラ1の電気回路について、図2のブロック構成図を用いて説明する。
本実施形態の電子カメラ1においては、制御手段であるCPU170が内蔵されており、上記CPU170により本電子カメラ1の各制御要素全体が制御される。

まず、撮影光学系111を通過した被写体の画像は、上記CPU170の制御のもとで撮像素子であるCCD55で電気信号に変換される。CCD55で変換された電気信号は、撮像回路113でアナログ画像信号に変換された後に、A/D変換回路114によってテジタル画像信号に変換される。そして、このデジタル画像信号は、例えば、外部メモリである着脱可能なフラッシュメモリカード,スマートメモリカード等の記録媒体としての記録メディアカード(メモリカード)120にインターフェース(I/F)121を介して記録される。なお、記録メディアカード120は、メディアスロット21に着脱可能である。

また、電子カメラ1の電気回路には、処理速度の早い内蔵メモリ130や画像処理回路140が設けられており、該内蔵メモリ130は、例えば、ランダムアクセスメモリ(RAM)等が適用され、各画像処理における作業用メモリとして、或いは、一時的な画像記憶手段の高速バッファとして利用される。また、上記画像処理回路140は、A/D変換回路114によりデジタル化された画像データに基づいてRGB信号への変換、画素数の変換、データの圧縮、伸長などの処理を行う。

さらに、電子カメラ1には、前述した画像表示用LCD表示板15(液晶表示装置)が搭載されているが、このLCD表示板15には、メモリカード120に記録された画像の確認や、撮影しようとする被写体画像が表示される。LCD表示板15に表示される画像は、内蔵メモリ130からの画像情報が、一旦、ビデオメモリ151に取り込まれた後、ヒデオ出力回路152にてヒデオ画像に変換されて表示される画像である。また、ヒデオ出力回路152は、ヒデオ出力用の外部端子153を介して外部表示装置にヒデオ画像を出力するも可能である。

上記CPU170は、上記レリーズ釦26の操作による撮影開始信号を取り込み、CCD55により撮像を行ったり、図示しないモード設定釦の操作による操作部173の各種モードの設定信号を取り込み、撮影モードの設定を行う。その設定モードは、モードLCD172に表示される。また、CPU170の制御に基づいて、被写体の撮像時における光量が不足している場合にはストロボユニット7のストロボ発光管14をオンにし、ストロボ撮影が行われる。

また、CPU170には、撮影光学系の進退移動のリセット位置を検出するための検出手段であるフォトリフレクタ(以下、PRと記載する)58,59が接続されている。上記撮影レンズ系111のリセット駆動時のリセット位置検出が行われる。

外部インターフェース(外部I/F)161は、外部入出力端子160に接続され、外部機器とのデータの入出力を行う。この外部入出力端子160には、例えば、パーソナルコンピュータ等が接続され、メモリカード120内の画像をパーソナルコンピュータ等に転送し、また、パーソナルコンピュータ等から画像データが取り込まれる。

上記レンズ鏡筒10は、図5等に示すように第1の保持枠である1群枠31と、枠部材である固定枠32とを有しており、上記1群枠31に内蔵される部材は、反射光学部材のプリズム33と、1群レンズ34と、光量調整手段であるNDフィルタユニット47と、フィルタ用駆動源であるNDフィルタ用ロータリーソレノイド(以下、ソレノイドと記載)51と、シャッタ用駆動源(セクタ用駆動源)であるシャッタ用ソレノイド52等である。さらに、上記固定枠32の内部に設けられる部材は、光軸O2 に沿って光量調整手段(シャッタ手段)であるシャッタユニット48、その下方に進退可能な第2の保持枠(第1の可動保持枠)である2群枠38に保持されるズーム用レンズ群の2群レンズ35、さらに、進退可能な第3の保持枠(第2の可動保持枠)である3群枠39に保持されるズーム,フォーカス用レンズ群の3群レンズ36、さらに、固定枠32の下方開口部32bに保持される4群レンズ37と、CCD基板56上に実装され、被写体光束の結像位置に位置する撮像素子のCCD55が順に配置されている。また、第2の光軸O2 (すなわち、Y方向)に沿った左右に両端が固定枠32に固定保持される吊り軸41および回転止め軸42と、2群枠38を進退駆動するズーム駆動用であってモータユニットを構成する第1レンズ用駆動源の第1ステップモータ53と、3群枠39を進退駆動するズーム,フォーカス駆動用であってモータユニットを構成する第2レンズ用駆動源の第2ステップモータ54と、さらに、上記2群枠38と3群枠39の間に挿入される圧縮バネ46等である。また、固定枠32の背面側には、金属板製の固定蓋89が装着、固定される。固定枠32の前面側には、上記各駆動源の接続端子,センサ等の電気接続部が実装されるFPC86が配置される。

上記第1の保持枠31は、直方体形状外形部とその後面側の一部に収納されるプリズム33の外形に沿った傾斜面31cを有する軸方向がX方向である三角柱形状の外形部分とからなる外形を有し、上記プリズム,上記1群レンズ,上記NDフィルタユニット,上記ソレノイド等を収納し、固定枠32の上部側にビスによりビス挿通穴31fとビスネジ穴32fとにより締結、結合される。

上記プリズム33は、1群枠31の前面開口部31aに挿入、固着される。光軸O1 に沿って入射した被写体光束は、このプリズム33によって角度90°折り曲げられ、第2の光軸O2 (Y方向)に沿って下方開口部31bに向けて反射される。

上記NDフィルタユニット47は、1群枠31の下面側に組み込まれ、被写体光量を調整するために光軸O1 と光軸O2 とを含む光軸面と略直交する方向に移動可能な光量調整部材であるNDフィルタ67を有している。その構造の詳細は、後述する。

上記NDフィルタ用ソレノイド51とシャッタ用ソレノイド52とは、ユニット化された状態で1群枠31内のプリズム33の左側に第1の光軸O1 に沿って並列して配置される。それぞれの出力軸51a,52aは、1群枠31の下方の光軸O2 方向に突出して配置される(図10)。上記NDフィルタ用ソレノイド51の出力軸51aには、ピニオン61が固着される。一方、シャッタ用ソレノイド52の出力軸52aには、駆動力伝達部材であるシャッタ駆動アーム71が固着されている。上記シャッタ駆動アーム71のアーム部先端には、2群レンズの進退移動位置に対応した所定の長さの中空軸部材で形成される軸部72が固着されている。上記ソレノイドが正転,逆転駆動されて、上記出力軸51a,52aが回動駆動されることによって、上記ピニオン61、または、上記シャッタ駆動アーム71は、それぞれ開位置と閉位置との2つの回動位置に回動駆動される。ピニオン61や軸部72によるNDフィルタユニットやシャッタユニットの動作等については後述する。

上記2群枠38は、中央上部に開口部38aと、Y方向に沿って貫通する2つのガイド孔38cと、ガイド孔38cの反対側に回転止め切り欠き38gと、リードネジ挿入用切り欠き38dと、レバー回動軸孔38eと、4本の段付きピン38bと、Z方向両端面に係止突起38f等を有している(図12)。また、2群枠38には、ズームレンズとなる2群レンズ35の他に開口部38a側上面に上記シャッタユニット48が配置され、上記レバー軸孔38eには、セクタ駆動レバー43が回動可能に嵌入される。この2群枠38は、ガイド孔38cと切り欠き38gとにそれぞれ摺動自在に嵌入する吊り軸41および回転止め軸42により光軸O2 に沿って進退移動可能に支持される。

使用者が後カバー上の電源釦27を操作することによって電源スイッチをオンとし、メモリカード120をカードスロット21に挿入する。そして、図示しないモード設定釦27を操作すると、CPU170により撮影モードが選択、設定される。

続いて、撮影を実行する場合、プリズム33,1〜4群レンズ34〜37を介して取り込まれた被写体光束の画像がCPU170の制御のもとでCCD55により電気的撮像信号に変換され、内蔵メモリ130に映像信号として取り込まれる。その映像信号は、LCD表示板15に被写体像として表示される。使用者がズーミング等の操作を行って撮影するべき被写体と撮影画角を定めて、レリーズ釦26の1段目の押圧操作をすると、CPU170の制御のもとで上記映像信号のコントラスト情報に基づいて、3群レンズ36の合焦駆動が行われる。この合焦駆動、および、上記ズーム駆動は、第1,第2ステップモータ53,54を駆動制御し、2群枠38、および、3群枠39をそれぞれの光軸O2 に沿った進退位置に移動させて行われる。一方、上記取り込まれた映像信号に基づいて、被写体光の測光が行われる。その測光データで被写体輝度が所定値より高い場合、NDフィルタ用ソレノイド51が駆動され、NDフィルタ67が固定枠開口32aを覆う位置に進入移動する。

【発明の効果】
上述のように本発明の第1の発明によれば、上記駆動源を上記枠部材の第1の外壁に沿って固定し、さらに、上記検出手段をこの第1の外壁に隣接する第2の外壁に取り付けることで、レンズ鏡筒の薄型化が図れる。
さらにシャッタ用駆動源に上記FPCが接続されるので上記FPCがレンズ鏡筒内で移動することがなく、レンズ鏡筒の動作が阻害されるおそれがない。
さらに上記シャッタ駆動手段が上記駆動源側に配置されることからレンズ鏡筒の厚みを薄型化することが可能になる。
