【0044】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fuel cell stack with a cell voltage measurement terminal, and in particular, a terminal member that connects a peripheral projection terminal of a separator and a voltage acquisition terminal of a voltage measurement device while absorbing variations in the stacking direction position of the separator. The invention relates to a supported fuel cell stack.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
As shown in FIG. 22, the fuel cell stack is a unit fuel comprising an electrolyte membrane-
[0003]
In order to determine whether or not each cell constituting the fuel cell stack is in a normal state, the voltage of each cell is measured. Conventionally, for voltage measurement of each cell, the voltage measurement terminal of the separator and the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measurement device (usually attached to the fuel cell stack) are connected by a harness (cable) having connectors on both sides. .
[0004]
For example, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-283166, a round hole is made in a carbon plate of each cell of a fuel cell stack, one end of an output terminal is connected to the round hole with a banana clip, and the other end of the output terminal bundle is connected via a connector. Disclosed is a method for attaching a voltage measurement output terminal of a fuel cell stack, characterized in that it is connected to a voltage measurement device.
[0005]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-339828 discloses an end face of a separator in a fuel cell stack, which is composed of an electrode unit and a separator, and converts fuel gas mainly composed of hydrogen and oxygen or air into electricity by reacting in the electrode unit. A fuel cell stack with a cell voltage measuring terminal is disclosed, characterized in that a protruding voltage measuring terminal is provided perpendicular to the above.
[0006]
Furthermore, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-223141 discloses a fuel cell stack configured by alternately stacking electrode units and separators each having an electrolyte sandwiched between a fuel electrode and an oxidant electrode, and the separator is provided with a protruding voltage measuring terminal. A fuel cell stack characterized in that a plurality of voltage measurement cords connected to the voltage measurement terminals are connected to one-touch connectors fixed to pressure plates provided at both ends of the fuel cell stack. Disclosure.
[0007]
However, since the fuel cell stack has a structure in which several tens to several hundreds of cells are stacked, it takes a lot of trouble to attach a connector as disclosed in the above prior art to each voltage measurement terminal and voltage acquisition terminal. In addition to this, there was a risk of the connector coming off from the terminal or making a connection error. In addition, vibration is applied to the on-vehicle fuel cell stack, so that there is a problem that the connector is detached or intricately entangled due to the vibration.
[0008]
Therefore, it is desired to connect the voltage measurement terminals of many separators and the voltage acquisition terminals of the voltage measurement device at once without using a harness having connectors on both sides. However, since the fuel cell stack has a structure in which a large number of cells are stacked, there is inevitably variation in the position in the stacking direction of the protruding terminals of each separator made of a corrugated metal thin plate, and the positional accuracy required for automatic operation is very high. Not enough. Furthermore, since the fuel cell stack has a temperature difference between when it is stopped and when it is in operation, the stacking direction position of the separator changes due to thermal expansion, but the rigid connection method cannot follow the thermal expansion, resulting in poor connection. Or excessive stress may be applied to the voltage measurement terminals.
[0009]
In a fuel cell, particularly a polymer electrolyte fuel cell, each cell is very thin, about 2 to 3 mm. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent the connectors connected to the protruding terminals of adjacent separators from contacting each other. However, there is a problem that it is very difficult to achieve insulation of a connector connecting terminals of tens to hundreds of cells with a simple mechanism.
[0010]
Accordingly, the object of the present invention is to ensure that the voltage measuring projection terminals of the many thin metal plate separators and the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measuring device are securely connected by the terminal members, and that each terminal member is reliably insulated. Is to provide a fuel cell stack.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, a fuel cell stack according to the present invention in which a plurality of unit fuel cells are stacked via a separator includes: (a) a protruding terminal for voltage measurement provided on the outer periphery of the separator, and a voltage of the voltage measuring device. A plurality of terminal members for connecting to the acquisition terminals, and (b) an insulating casing having a plurality of partitions for supporting the individual terminal members in an insulated state. Thus, by supporting each terminal member by the plurality of partitions of the insulating casing, it is possible to reliably prevent contact between adjacent terminal members. In addition, since the insulating casing can support a plurality of terminal members at the same time, the protruding terminals for voltage measurement of a large number of sheet metal separators and the voltage acquisition terminals of the voltage measuring device can be reliably operated in one operation. Can be connected. In addition, the voltage measurement terminals and voltage acquisition terminals of a large number of cells can be connected without a harness, so that the labor of connection can be significantly reduced.
[0012]
Preferred terminal members for use in the fuel cell stack of the present invention include a tip portion connected to the protruding terminal of the separator, an elastic support portion comprising a narrow strip connected to the tip portion, and the elastic support portion. And a fulcrum part connected to the voltage acquisition terminal. Since the tip portion and the fulcrum portion are integrally connected by the elastic support portion, the relative position between the tip portion and the fulcrum portion can be adjusted. Therefore, when the terminal member is connected to the protruding terminal for voltage measurement of the separator and the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measuring device, even if there are variations or displacements in the stacking direction position of the separator, they can be absorbed. it can.
[0013]
The terminal member has a substantially U-shaped cross section, the tip end portion is connected so as to sandwich the protruding terminal of the separator, and the fulcrum portion is connected so as to sandwich the voltage acquisition terminal. Is preferred. With this structure, the connection with the protruding terminal of the separator and the connection with the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measuring device can be reliably performed with a single operation. In addition, the terminal member of this structure can be formed by punching an integrated metal thin plate into a shape having a tip portion, an elastic support portion, and a fulcrum portion, and then bending it. There is an advantage that it can be manufactured more easily. Further, since not only the tip portion but also the fulcrum portion is opened with a U-shaped cross section, the contact pressure with the protruding terminal of the separator is small. This facilitates connection when the number of terminals is large.
[0014]
The elastic support portion of the terminal member is preferably composed of a plurality of curved strip portions. The curved belt portion is flexible enough to absorb deformation in any direction (especially the laminating direction) and has sufficient elasticity, and is formed integrally with the tip portion and the fulcrum portion by punching from a single metal thin plate. Easy to do.
[0015]
Insulative casing plural The partition is Comb teeth It is preferable that it is formed by. Comb teeth By inserting the terminal member into each of the gaps, the positioning of the terminal member can be performed easily and reliably, and the contact of the plurality of terminal members can also be reliably prevented.
[0016]
Each insulating casing Comb teeth It is preferable to consist of an upper casing and a lower casing. The upper casing and the lower casing are preferably provided with screw holes, and one of the holes is a long hole. The insulating casing has a combined structure of the upper casing and the lower casing, and one of the screw holes for fixing the two is a long hole, so that the position in the stacking direction of the upper casing and the lower casing can be adjusted. The deviation in the stacking direction between the protruding terminals for voltage measurement and the voltage acquisition terminals of the voltage measuring device can be absorbed.
[0017]
In one embodiment of the present invention, the upper end of the open end of the comb teeth of the lower casing is closed. By using the lower casing having this structure, the terminal member can be simultaneously rotated by simply rotating the insulating casing in the reverse direction, and the terminal member can be completely removed.
[0018]
It is preferable that an opening is provided at a matching position on the fulcrum of the voltage acquisition terminal and the terminal member. The opening of the terminal member not only serves as a fulcrum when the terminal member rotates, but can also be used for precise positioning of the voltage acquisition terminal and the terminal member.
[0019]
The fulcrum part of the terminal member is engaged with the comb teeth of the upper casing, the tip part is engaged with the comb teeth of the lower casing, and the elastic support part is not substantially engaged with either the upper casing or the lower casing. Is preferred. With this structure, even if there is a positional deviation in the stacking direction between the protruding terminal for voltage measurement of the separator and the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measurement device, it can be absorbed.
[0020]
It is preferable that the opening of the voltage acquisition terminal and the opening of the fulcrum of the terminal member are rotatably engaged by eyelets. This prevents the terminal member from being detached from the terminal or displaced when the terminal member is rotated with the opening as a fulcrum. In addition, this opening structure has the advantage that space can be saved at the fulcrum and electrical contact can be reliably maintained.
[0021]
In a preferred embodiment, a fuel cell stack according to the present invention in which a plurality of unit fuel cells are stacked via a separator includes: (a) a protruding terminal for voltage measurement provided on the outer periphery of the separator; and a voltage measuring device. A plurality of terminal members for connecting the voltage acquisition terminals, and (b) an insulating casing having a plurality of partitions that support the individual terminal members in an insulated state, and the voltage acquisition terminals are used as the terminal members. The terminal member is engaged with the voltage measurement terminal of the separator by engaging and rotating the casing with the voltage acquisition terminal as a fulcrum, thereby connecting the voltage acquisition terminal and the voltage measurement terminal. .
[0022]
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the fulcrum portion of the terminal member engaged with the voltage acquisition terminal is engaged with the comb teeth of the upper casing, and the tip end portion of the terminal member is engaged with the comb teeth of the lower casing. By rotating about the opening of the acquisition terminal as a fulcrum, the tip of the terminal member can be engaged with the voltage measurement terminal of the separator. By rotating the casing, the tip of the terminal member can be connected to the voltage measuring terminal of the separator at a time, and the terminal connection process is simplified.

【The invention's effect】
Since the fuel cell stack according to the present invention includes an insulating casing having a plurality of partitions for supporting individual terminal members in an insulated state, it is possible not only to reliably prevent contact between adjacent terminal members but also an insulating casing. Can support a plurality of terminal members at the same time, and can reliably connect the protruding terminals for voltage measurement of a number of thin metal plate separators and the voltage acquisition terminals of the voltage measuring device in one operation. . Thereby, the trouble of connecting each terminal with a cable with a connector as in the prior art can be saved, and a fuel cell stack excellent in handleability can be obtained.
[0043]
Also, an integrated unit consisting of a tip part connected to the protruding terminal of the separator, an elastic support part consisting of a narrow band part connected to the tip part, and a fulcrum part connected to the elastic support part and connected to the voltage acquisition terminal. By using the terminal member having the structure, it is possible to cope with the relative positional deviation between the tip portion and the fulcrum portion. Therefore, when the terminal member is connected to the protruding terminal for voltage measurement of the separator and the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measuring device, even if there are variations or displacements in the stacking direction position of the separator, they can be absorbed. it can. In this way, large displacement can be reliably absorbed even if the fuel cell stack vibrates or heat expands due to heat generation, which may result in poor connection or excessive stress applied to the voltage measurement terminal. And a highly reliable fuel cell stack. Such a feature is particularly important in a fuel cell stack having tens to hundreds of separators for high output.
[0044]
Insulative casing plural The partition is Comb teeth Because it is formed by Comb teeth By inserting the terminal member into each of the gaps, the positioning of the terminal member can be performed easily and reliably, and the contact of the plurality of terminal members can also be reliably prevented. Moreover, since the upper casing and the lower casing of the insulating casing can be fixed and adjusted in the stacking direction, the gap in the stacking direction between the protruding terminal for voltage measurement of the separator and the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measuring device is absorbed Can do.
[0045]
A structure in which the fulcrum portion of the terminal member is engaged with the comb teeth of the upper casing, the tip portion is engaged with the comb teeth of the lower casing, and the elastic support portion is not substantially engaged with any of the upper casing and the lower casing. Thus, even if there is a misalignment in the stacking direction between the protruding terminal for voltage measurement of the separator and the voltage acquisition terminal of the voltage measuring device, it can be absorbed. Further, by closing the upper part of the slit of the lower casing, the terminal member can be attached and detached with a single rotation operation.
