Claims (22)
- 無線通信システムにおいて、フォワードリンク送信をスケジューリングする装置であって、
メモリエレメントと、
前記メモリエレメント上に記憶された命令のセットを実行するように構成されたプロセッシングエレメントとを備え、
前記命令のセットは、
遠隔局からフルチャネル品質値と複数の増分チャネル品質値とを受信し、
チャネル品質推定でレジスタを選択的に更新するためのものであり、
前記複数の増分チャネル品質値は連続的に受信され、
前記フルチャネル品質値は前記連続的に受信された増分チャネル品質値の一部において同時に受信され、
前記チャネル品質推定は前記フルチャネル品質値と前記複数の増分チャネル品質値とに基づいている装置。 - 前記チャネル品質推定でレジスタを選択的に更新することは、
前記レジスタの内容に前記複数の増分チャネル品質値を連続的に加算し、
前記フルチャネル品質値が受信されたときに前記フルチャネル品質値で前記レジスタをリセットすることを含む請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記チャネル品質推定でレジスタを選択的に更新することは、
前記レジスタの内容に前記複数の増分チャネル品質値を連続的に加算し、
前記フルチャネル品質値が受信されたときに前記フルチャネル品質値で前記レジスタをリセットし、
前記複数の増分チャネル品質値の一部を合計し、
前記複数の増分チャネル品質値の合計された部分を前記レジスタに設定された前記フルチャネル品質値に加算することを含む請求項1記載の装置。 - フルチャネル品質値および複数の増分チャネル品質値からフォワードリンクチャネル品質を推定する方法であって、
複数のスロットにわたっての前記フルチャネル品質値を復号化し、
チャネル状態レジスタを前記複数の増分チャネル品質値で増分的に更新し、前記フルチャネル品質値が完全に復号化されたときに前記チャネル状態レジ
スタを前記フルチャネル品質値でリセットすることを含み、
前記複数の増分チャネル品質値のそれぞれは前記複数のスロットのそれぞれの上で別々に受信され、
前記フルチャネル品質値のスロットのうちの少なくとも1つは、増分チャネル品質値のスロットのうちの少なくとも1つのスロットと同時に受信される方法。 - 前記フルチャネル品質値の最初のスロットは、前記増分チャネル品質値の最初のスロットと一致する請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記複数の増分チャネル品質値の一部を合計し、
前記複数の増分チャネル品質値の合計された部分を前記チャネル状態レジスタに記憶された前記フルチャネル品質値に加算することをさらに含む請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記複数の増分チャネル品質値を合計し、
前記合計された複数の増分チャネル品質値を前記チャネル状態レジスタに記憶された前記フルチャネル品質値に加算することをさらに含む請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記フルチャネル品質値を復号化することができない場合、前記増分チャネル品質値を前記フォワードリンクチャネル品質として使用する請求項4記載の方法。
- フィードバックチャネル上で基地局にチャネル品質値を送信する装置であって、
フルチャネル品質値を生成する再同期サブチャネル生成システムと、
複数の増分値を生成する差分フィードバックサブチャネル生成システムとを備え、
前記フルチャネル品質値は生成された増分値の一部において同時に送信され、
前記複数の増分値は前記フルチャネル品質値と多重化される装置。 - 前記複数の増分値は前記フルチャネル品質値と符号多重化される請求項9記載の装置。
- 前記複数の増分値は前記フルチャネル品質値と時間多重化される請求項9記載の装置。
- 移行期間の開始を示すフラグを生成する移行インジケータサブチャネル生成システムをさらに備えた請求項9記載の装置。
- ウォルシュ拡散エレメントが前記再同期サブチャネル生成システムにおいて使用され、前記差分フィードバックサブチャネルにおいては使用されない請求項12記載の装置。
- 前記差分フィードバックサブチャネル生成システムおよび前記移行インジケータサブチャネル生成システムにおいて共通のウォルシュ関数が使用される請求項12の装置。
- 前記共通のウォルシュ関数は基地局インデックスを示すために使用される請求項14記載の装置。
- 遠隔局から基地局にチャネル情報を送信する方法であって、
遠隔局における再同期サブチャネル生成システムでフルチャネル品質値を生成すること、および
遠隔局における差分フィードバックサブチャネル生成システムで増分チャネル品質値を生成することを含み、
前記フルチャネル品質値は生成された増分チャネル品質値の一部において同時に送信され、
前記増分チャネル品質値は前記フルチャネル品質値と多重化される方法。 - 前記フルチャネル品質値は1つより多いスロット上で生成される請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記増分チャネル品質値はチャネルフレームにおけるそれぞれのスロット上で生成される請求項16記載の方法。
- 遠隔局における移行インジケータサブチャネル生成システムで移行インジケータを生成することをさらに含み、
前記移行インジケータは、前記増分チャネル品質値および前記フルチャネル品質値と多重化され、基地局に対して移行期間を示すために使用される請求項18記載の方法。 - フルチャネル品質値および複数の増分チャネル品質値からフォワードリンクチャネル品質を推定するための装置であって、
複数のスロット上の前記フルチャネル品質値を復号化する手段と、
チャネル状態レジスタを前記複数の増分チャネル品質値で増分的に更新し、前記フルチャネル品質値が完全に復号化されたときに前記チャネル状態レジスタを前記フルチャネル品質値でリセットする手段とを備え、
前記フルチャネル品質値のスロットの少なくとも1つは、増分チャネル品質値のスロットのうちの少なくとも1つのスロットと同時に受信され、
前記複数の増分チャネル品質値のそれぞれは前記複数のスロットのそれぞれの上で別々に受信される装置。 - 遠隔局から基地局にチャネル情報を送信する装置であって、
フルチャネル品質値を生成する手段と、
増分チャネル品質値を生成する手段とを備え、
前記フルチャネル品質値は生成された増分チャネル品質値の一部において同時に送信され、
前記増分チャネル品質値は前記フルチャネル品質値と多重化される装置。 - 移行インジケータを生成する手段をさらに備え、
前記移行インジケータは、前記増分チャネル品質値および前記フルチャネル品質値と多重化され、基地局に対して移行期間を示すために使用される請求項21記載の装置。
