Claims (3)
- 圧電振動子により振動されるチップと、前記チップに相対するアンビルと、を備え、前記チップとアンビルとの間に複数の溶着対象物を挟みかつチップとアンビルとを互いに近づける方向に加圧した状態で、前記圧電振動子によりチップを振動させて該振動を前記溶着対象物に伝えることで、前記溶着対象物を互いに溶着する超音波溶着装置において、
前記溶着対象物は、金属からなる導体と、前記導体を被覆する合成樹脂からなる被覆部とからなり、
前記チップの振動する際の速度を検出可能な検出手段と、
前記圧電振動子に印加される電圧値と、当該圧電振動子に流れる電流値を検出する第2検出手段と、
前記第2検出手段が検出した電圧値と電流値とを掛け算して、前記溶着対象物に加えられた仕事率を算出する仕事率算出手段と、
前記仕事率算出手段が算出した仕事率の変化率を求め、該変化率が第1の所定の値以下となった後に当該第1の所定の値よりも大きな第2の所定の値以上となると、前記導体間から被覆部が除去されたと判定する変化率判定手段と、
前記変化率判定手段が導体間から被覆部が除去されたと判定すると、前記検出手段が検出した前記チップの振動する際の速度から前記導体間から被覆部が除去されてからの前記チップの総変位量を算出する算出手段と、
前記算出手段が算出した前記チップの総変位量に基づいて、前記チップの振動を制御する制御手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする超音波溶着装置。 - 前記算出手段が算出した前記チップの総変位量に基づいて、前記溶着対象物の溶着状況の良否を判定する判定手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 圧電振動子により振動されるチップと、前記チップに相対するアンビルと、を備え、前記チップとアンビルとの間に複数の溶着対象物を挟んで、前記圧電振動子によりチップを振動させて該振動を前記溶着対象物に伝えることで、前記溶着対象物を互いに溶着する超音波溶着装置において、
前記溶着対象物は、金属からなる導体と、前記導体を被覆する合成樹脂からなる被覆部とからなり、
前記チップの振動する際の速度を検出可能な検出手段と、
前記圧電振動子に印加される電圧値と、当該圧電振動子に流れる電流値を検出する第2検出手段と、
前記第2検出手段が検出した電圧値と電流値とを掛け算して、前記溶着対象物に加えられた仕事率を算出する仕事率算出手段と、
前記仕事率算出手段が算出した仕事率の変化率を求め、該変化率が第1の所定の値以下となった後に当該第1の所定の値よりも大きな第2の所定の値以上となると、前記導体間から被覆部が除去されたと判定する変化率判定手段と、
前記変化率判定手段が導体間から被覆部が除去されたと判定すると、前記検出手段が検出した前記チップの振動する際の速度から前記導体間から被覆部が除去されてからの前記チップの総変位量を算出する算出手段と、
前記算出手段が算出した前記チップの総変位量に基づいて、前記溶着対象物の溶着状況の良否を判定する判定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする超音波溶着装置。
