BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wireless communication control apparatus used for an engine drive control apparatus that permits driving of a vehicle engine using, for example, wireless communication.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, automobiles have been required to have improved operability as well as basic performance and safety. Therefore, for the purpose of improving the operability, an engine drive control system having a smart ignition function has been proposed, and engine drive control (smart communication control) by smart communication is performed (for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003]
Specifically, during smart communication control, when an owner (driver) possessing a portable device having a communication function enters the vehicle compartment, the automatic control is automatically performed between the engine control device installed in the vehicle and the portable device. Thus, the engine can be started on the condition that the mutual communication is established. The engine can be started by operating an operation unit provided in the vehicle compartment. For this reason, the driver can start the engine only by getting on the vehicle and operating the operation unit. Therefore, the operability for starting the engine is improved.
[0004]
Further, in such an engine drive control system, when the battery provided in the portable device is exhausted, mutual communication between the portable device and the engine control device becomes impossible and the engine cannot be started. Therefore, in the engine drive control system described in
[0005]
Specifically, the portable device is provided with a transponder. The transponder generates an electromotive force when receiving an electromagnetic wave having a predetermined intensity, and transmits a predetermined radio signal using the electromotive force. That is, the transponder operates even when there is no power source. And, at the time of transponder communication control, the engine can be started on condition that the electromagnetic wave for driving the transponder is output from the engine drive control device and the mutual communication between the transponder and the engine control device is established based on this electromagnetic wave. It becomes a state.
[0006]
Generally, in this type of engine drive control system, smart communication control is usually performed, and switching to transponder communication control is triggered by the fact that a predetermined operation has been performed. For example, in the engine drive control system described in

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in general, the communication area where the portable device and the engine control apparatus can communicate with each other at the time of transponder communication control is very narrow compared to the communication area at the time of smart communication control. For this reason, if the smart communication state switches from the smart communication state to the transponder communication state against the user's intention, the engine of the smart communication control can be operated even if the portable device and the engine control device are capable of mutual communication. The case where it cannot drive will arise. Specifically, when a foreign object other than a portable device is placed on or attached to the placement unit or the portable device mounting unit in
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a wireless communication control apparatus that can reliably perform mutual communication with a portable device.

[0057]
(2) In the emergency mode, the ratio of the continuous execution time (normal execution time Ts) of the normal communication control to the continuous execution time (emergency execution time Te) of the emergency communication control increases with time. For this reason, in the initial state after switching to the emergency mode, the communication response (emergency response) between the portable device and the wireless communication control device by the emergency communication control becomes high. After that, the communication response (normal response) between the portable device and the wireless communication control device by the normal communication control increases with time. Generally, the emergency mode is switched according to the user's intention. When the mode is switched to the emergency mode, there is a high possibility that mutual communication between the portable device and the wireless communication control device by the emergency communication control is established within a short time thereafter. Conversely, if the intercommunication by the emergency communication control is not established within a short time after switching to the emergency mode, there is a possibility that the mode has been switched to the emergency mode against the user's intention. The need for communication control increases. Therefore, a suitable normal response and emergency response in the emergency mode can be ensured, and the responsiveness of mutual communication between the

In the embodiment, the ratio (execution time ratio) between the continuous execution time (emergency execution time) Te of emergency communication control in the emergency mode and the continuous execution time (normal execution time) Ts of normal communication control is switched to the emergency mode. It changes with the passage of time starting from the time of change. However, the values of the execution times Te and Ts may be changed without changing the execution time ratio. For example, the execution time ratio is fixed to 5: 5, and the initial values of the execution times Te and Ts are set to 500 milliseconds, respectively. Then, as time elapses, the values of the execution times Te and Ts are changed as low as 500 milliseconds → 400 milliseconds → 300 milliseconds, or as high as 500 milliseconds → 600 milliseconds → 700 milliseconds. You may let them. Further, both the execution time ratio and the values of the execution times Te and Ts may be fixed.
[0064]
In the embodiment, the ratio of the normal execution time Ts to the emergency execution time Te changes so as to become “low → high” with the passage of time. However, such a change mode of the ratio may change, for example, as “high → low” and “low → high → low”. In addition, the change mode of the ratio may be freely set by the user.
