Description
Claims (26)
- 縦軸を有する一次ポリマー繊維の実質的に中実の切断面を備える多機能製品マーカーであって、
(i)前記切断面は、ほぼ平行な第1の面と第2の面及び前記第1の面及び/又は前記第2の面にほぼ直角を成し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の縦軸にほぼ平行な少なくとも1つの追加面を有し、
(ii)前記切断面は、1:1から200:1までの間の、前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間の平均長さに対する前記第1の面及び前記第2の面を横切る平均長さの縦横比を有し、及び
(iii)前記切断面は、前記製品を識別する少なくとも1つの光学的に読み取り可能な識別子及び前記第1の面と前記第2の面とを区別する少なくとも1つの光学的に読み取り可能な配向子を含み、前記光学的に読み取り可能な配向子は、前記第1の面と前記第2の面の両面で光学的に読み取り可能であり、
前記配向子は、
(i)前記切断面の少なくとも1つの追加面における少なくとも1つの非対称の溝であって、該溝は、前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間のほぼ全長にわたって延在し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行な縦軸を有する少なくとも1つの非対称の溝、
(ii)前記切断面の前記第1の面と前記第2の面における少なくとも1つの非対称の空所であって、該空所は、前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間のほぼ全長にわたって延在し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行である少なくとも1つの非対称の空所、
(iii)実質的に前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記切断面内に含まれる少なくとも1つの非対称な二次ポリマー繊維の切断面であって、該二次ポリマー繊維の直線軸は、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行である少なくとも1つの非対称な二次ポリマー繊維の切断面、
(iv)前記少なくとも1つの追加面における複数の溝の対掌性パターンであって、該溝各々は、対称的又は非対称的であり、ほぼ前記第1の面から前記第2の面まで延在し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行な縦軸を有する複数の溝の対掌性パターン、
(v)前記切断面の前記第1の面と前記第2の面における複数の空所の対掌性パターンであって、該空所各々は、対称的又は非対称的であり、ほぼ前記切断面を貫通して延在し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行である複数の空所の対掌性パターン、
(vi)実質的に前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記切断面内に含まれる複数の二次ポリマー繊維の切断面の対掌性パターンであって、前記二次ポリマー繊維の各々の直線軸は、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行であり、前記二次ポリマー繊維の各々は、対称的又は非対称的である複数の二次ポリマー繊維の切断面の対掌性パターン、及び
(vii)光学的に検知可能な違いを持つ少なくとも1つの対掌性領域、
から構成されるグループから選択される少なくとも1つの部材を備え、
前記識別子は、
(i)前記切断面の少なくとも1つの追加面における少なくとも1つの溝であって、該溝は、前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間のほぼ全長にわたって延在し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行な縦軸を有する少なくとも1つの溝、
(ii)前記切断面の前記第1の面と前記第2の面における少なくとも1つの空所であって、該空所は、前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間のほぼ全長にわたって延在し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行である少なくとも1つの空所、
(iii)実質的に前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記切断面内に含まれる少なくとも1つの二次ポリマー繊維の切断面であって、該二次ポリマー繊維の直線軸は、前記一次ポリマー繊維の前記縦軸にほぼ平行である少なくとも1つの二次ポリマー繊維の切断面、及び
(iv)光学的に検知可能な違いを持つ領域、
から構成されるグループから選択される少なくとも1つの部材を備える、
ことを特徴とする多機能製品マーカー。 - 前記光学的に読み取り可能な識別子及び前記光学的に読み取り可能な配向子は、同じであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記一次ポリマー繊維は、ポリラクチド、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、澱粉、キチン、生糸、ゼイン、アクリルニトリルブタジエンスチレン、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、セルロースアセテート、セルロースアセトブチレート、セルロースアセトプロピオネート、ポリカーボネート、ポリスチレン、ポリビニルアセテート、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリビニルアルコール、スチレンアクリロニトリル、無可塑(硬質)ポリ塩化ビニル、可塑化(軟質)ポリ塩化ビニル、高衝撃ポリスチレン、ポリオキシメチレン、ポリホルムアルデヒド(ポリアセタール)、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリアミド(ナイロン)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(ポリエステル)、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、低密度ポリエチレン、線状低密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリ4メチルペンテン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、及びそれらの共重合体又は混合物で構成されるグループから選択された少なくとも1つのポリマーを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 光学的に検知可能な違いを持つ前記領域は、前記面の少なくとも1つの表面上に、効果的な量の少なくとも1つの光学的に検知可能な物質を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 光学的に検知可能な違いを持つ前記領域は、前記一次ポリマー繊維の少なくとも1つの光学的に検知可能な性質を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 光学的に検知可能な違いを持つ前記領域は、蛍光性、ルミネッセンス、電気インピーダンス、放射能又は吸光度により検知可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 光学的に検知可能な違いを持つ前記領域は、1又はそれ以上の物理的事象及び/又は化学物質にさらされた場合にのみ検知可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 光学的に検知可能な違いを持つ前記領域は、1又はそれ以上の物理的事象及び/又は化学物質にさらされた場合に検知不能となることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記切断面は、以下の工程、
(i)好適な枠の周りに一次ポリマー繊維を巻き取る工程であって、前記一次ポリマー繊維は、縦軸を有し、前記少なくとも1つの識別子及び前記少なくとも1つの配向子をほぼ全長にわたって含んでいる工程、
(ii)前記巻取り工程の前、間、及び/又は後に、前記一次ポリマー繊維を、好適な材料で被覆又は該好適な材料中に埋め込む工程であって、前記好適な材料は、前記一次ポリマー繊維が繰り返し且つ再生可能な方法で、一次ポリマー繊維の縦軸にほぼ直角を成す軸に沿って、0.5マイクロメーターほどの単位で切断され得るように、該材料が物理的事象及び/又は化学物質にさらされることで十分に硬くされ得る工程、
(iii)前記一次ポリマー繊維及び前記好適な材料の両方を、前記一次ポリマー繊維の縦軸に沿って切断し、前記一次ポリマー繊維の切断面を作り出す工程であって、前記切断面は、ほぼ平行な第1の面と第2の面及び前記第1の面及び/又は前記第2の面にほぼ直角を成し、前記縦軸にほぼ平行な少なくとも1つの追加面を有し、前記切断面は、前記少なくとも1つの識別子及び前記少なくとも1つの配向子を含んでいる工程、
により用意されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。 - 前記好適な枠は、円筒体又は巻き芯であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記物理的事象は、温度又は光を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記化学物質は、可塑剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記好適な材料は、パラフィン、蜜ろう、植物性油脂、ゼラチン、でんぷん、及びこれらの混合物で構成されるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記巻取り及び被覆又は埋め込み工程は、ほぼ同時に実行されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記第1の面又は前記第2の面を横切る前記最大長さは、0.5マイクロメーターと5ミリメーターとの間にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間の前記最大長さは、0.5マイクロメーターと100マイクロメーターとの間にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記第1の面又は前記第2の面を横切る前記最大長さは、10マイクロメーターと250マイクロメーターとの間にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間の前記最大長さは、1マイクロメーターと20マイクロメーターとの間にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記縦軸に沿う二次元の前記切断面の投影像は、ほぼ円形に見えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記縦軸に沿う二次元の前記切断面の投影像は、ほぼ楕円形に見えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記縦軸に沿う二次元の前記切断面の投影像は、ほぼ多角形に見え、前記多角形は、三角形、四角形、五角形、六角形、七角形、八角形、九角形(九辺形)、十角形、11角形(11辺形)、12角形で構成されるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記二次ポリマー繊維は、ポリラクチド、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、澱粉、キチン、生糸、ゼイン、アクリルニトリルブタジエンスチレン、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、セルロースアセテート、セルロースアセトブチレート、セルロースアセトプロピオネート、ポリカーボネート、ポリスチレン、ポリビニルアセテート、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリビニルアルコール、スチレンアクリロニトリル、無可塑(硬質)ポリ塩化ビニル、可塑化(軟質)ポリ塩化ビニル、高衝撃ポリスチレン、ポリオキシメチレン、ポリホルムアルデヒド(ポリアセタール)、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリアミド(ナイロン)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(ポリエステル)、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、低密度ポリエチレン、線状低密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリ4メチルペンテン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、及びそれらの共重合体又は混合物で構成されるグループから選択された少なくとも1つのポリマーを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記光学的に検知可能な物質は、抗体、天然又は合成の核酸配列、天然又は合成のアミノ酸配列、化学染料及びこれらの2又はそれ以上の組み合わせで構成されるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記光学的に検知可能な性質は、色、蛍光性、吸光度、電気インピーダンス及びこれらの2又はそれ以上の組み合わせで構成されるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記マーカーは、一次ポリマー繊維の複数の前記ほぼ中実の切断面を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
- 前記マーカーは、複数の一次ポリマー繊維の複数の前記ほぼ中実の切断面を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多機能製品マーカー。
