この発明は、本体ハウジングに対して着脱自在に構成され、本体ハウジングのソケットに嵌合するコネクタを備えたパラメータ設定ユニットに関し、特に、本体ハウジングの所定のスペースに回転させながら着脱可能なパラメータ設定ユニットに関する。

近年、パワーエレクトロニクス,マイクロエレクトロニクスの急速な発達により、サーボモータやインバータによって可変速制御されるモータなどの用途が拡大し、多様化してきている。

これにともなって、モータ制御装置には多くの機能が要求され、しかもユーザ側で多岐にわたる機能のうち、自分に合った機能を簡単に選択できることが求められている。これらの要求に対し、メーカ側では例えばインバータ装置の場合であれば、出力周波数であるとか、ソフトスタート,ソフトダウンの時間設定であるとか、あるいは出力電圧の電圧/周波数パターン等々をパラメータとして選択できるように対応している。

パラメータ設定ユニットは、パラメータを選択して設定するためのパラメータ設定器の本体ハウジングに着脱自在に構成され、モータ制御装置に要求される機能に応じて、パラメータ設定器から所定の不揮発性のメモリなどを含むパラメータ回路に必要な制御データが記録され、かつモータ制御装置などに読み出すように構成されている。

従来技術においては、小さいメインケース3とダミーケース4の間には、パラメータ設定ユニットを本体ハウジング100に着脱する際に指を挿入する隙間が設けられており、その見栄えが悪い。また、支点からコネクタ2までの距離を大きく取れば、メインケース3を回転操作により着脱することができるが、そのためには、簡易機能パラメータ設定ユニットであっても不必要にメインケース3の大きさを大きくしなければならないという問題が生じる。

上記目的を達成するために、本体ハウジングに対して着脱自在に構成され、前記本体ハウジングのソケットに嵌合するコネクタを備えたパラメータ設定ユニットが提供される。このパラメータ設定ユニットは、パラメータ回路を収容したメインケースと、前記メインケースの裏面に配置したコネクタと、前記メインケースに一体に結合され、かつ分離可能なダミーケースと、を備え、前記コネクタを前記ソケットから抜き出す際に、前記メインケースと一体に結合された前記ダミーケースを支点として前記本体ハウジングに対して回転させる。

図1乃至図4は、第一の実施形態に係るパラメータ設定ユニットを示す図である。図1(a)は、一体に結合した状態のメインケースとダミーケースとを示す背面図、同図(b)は同図(a)のa−a線断面図、同図(c)は正面図である。
