側面視半円弧状の半軸受部の外周面に、前記半軸受部の軸線と直交する方向を向く複数のリブを、前記軸線の方向に適宜の間隔を保って突設することにより、側面視における全体の外形をほぼ長方形とした2個の半軸受部材を互いに向き合わせて重合したものを、上面に凹部を有する受け金具と下面に凹部を有する押え金具とを互いに向き合わせて接合したものの前記両凹部により形成される空所に、前記各リブの外周縁が空所の内面に当接するようにして嵌合し、前記受け金具を固定体に固定し、かつ互いに向き合わされた1対の半軸受部材により形成された軸受孔により、その中に嵌合された軸を回転自在に支持するようにし、さらに、互いに隣接する前記リブの間隔のうち複数のものを、前記固定体における側片の板厚とほぼ等しくし、複数の前記間隔のいずれかに、前記側片に設けたU字状の切欠きを選択的に係合させて、半軸受部材を前記固定体に固定することにより、前記半軸受部材における側片からの突出量を段階的に選択できるようにしたことを特徴とする軸受の支持構造。   A plurality of ribs facing the direction orthogonal to the axis of the semi-bearing portion are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the semi-arc-shaped semi-bearing portion in a side view so as to protrude in an appropriate interval in the direction of the axis.
