【0034】
T=td×(4+1)=5td
T=td×(23=46/2)=23td

The present invention relates to an automatic frequency control system used in digital mobile communications. In particular, the present invention relates to an automatic frequency control system and method for preventing line disconnection by correcting a reference frequency that is greatly shifted and correcting the reference frequency with a shorter convergence time.

In digital mobile communication systems, it is impossible to receive even if the frequency on the receiving station side is slightly shifted, so the reference frequency of the digital mobile phone device needs extremely high frequency accuracy even with respect to temperature changes, etc. And
On the other hand, it is disadvantageous in terms of miniaturization and weight reduction to have a highly accurate reference frequency oscillator in the mobile phone device itself.
[0008]
For this reason, in order to ensure high frequency accuracy, the digital mobile phone device performs AFC control in order to match the reference frequency of the base station with extremely high frequency accuracy and stability.

However, since the AFC
[0014]
Although it is conceivable that the cellular phone device cannot transmit or receive as a cause of the disconnection of the line, here, a case where the reception is impossible and the line is disconnected will be described below.
Figure 7 is a diagram for explaining a state that can not communicate with the base station expired line. This figure shows an IQ plan view when a phase difference is calculated with a signal that divides the intermediate frequency into 36 equal parts (1 quadrant equals 9 parts) by delay detection.
[0015]
In addition, since the symbol rate is 21 KHz in PDC (Personal Digital Cellular), the frequency of one section when it is equally divided into 36 is 21 KHz / 36≈about 583.3 Hz.
As shown in FIG. 7 , in the case of a delay detection circuit configuration that divides the intermediate frequency into 36 equal parts, in principle, demodulation is possible within a range that does not exceed the quadrant. For example, if the phase difference between 0 and 8 in FIG. 7 is calculated, it can be demodulated as demodulated data −π / 4.
[0016]
However, when it exceeds this quadrant, for example, now, demodulated to cause across the quadrant when there is deviation of the intermediate frequencies as shifted in 9 of phase when was 4 points in Fig. 7 It becomes impossible.
In other words, when the control of the
[0017]
As a specific example, the shift of the intermediate frequency when 9 → 4 is drawn is 583.3 Hz × (9−4) ≈about 2917 Hz, and the reference frequency pulling operation is performed to shift the intermediate frequency by 2817 Hz or more. Doing so may disconnect the line, making it impossible to communicate with the base station.
That is, since the calculation in the
[0018]
As a solution to this, it is conceivable to correct the result calculated by the
Therefore, in view of the above problems, the present invention provides an automatic frequency that enables communication with the base station without disconnecting the line without increasing the convergence time of the reference frequency even when the reference frequency is greatly deviated. It is an object to provide a control correction system and method.
[0019]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, in an automatic frequency control system that performs correction control of a reference frequency supplied to a PLL, an oscillator with a frequency control function that generates the reference frequency that requires a certain time for correction once, When the frequency error of the reference frequency is larger than the maximum correction width, the frequency error is divided by the maximum correction width to obtain a quotient and a remainder, and the quotient is set as the number of corrections. A maximum correction width setting unit for sequentially setting the maximum correction width by the number of correction times and finally setting the remainder correction width ;
[0020]
By means of this, repeated at maximum correction width, because to correct the reference frequency, even if the reference frequency is largely deviated, without increasing the convergence time of the reference frequency, not broken lines, communication with a base station Enable.
[0021]
Preferably, even when the frequency error of the reference frequency is larger than the maximum correction width, the maximum correction width setting unit sets the frequency error at once in the oscillator with a frequency control function immediately after power-on.
By this means, it is possible to quickly communicate with the base station immediately after the power is turned on by advancing the convergence time of the reference frequency.
[0022]
Preferably, the maximum correction width setting unit reviews the number of correction iterations while following the change in the reference frequency while the oscillator with a frequency control device is performing the pull-in operation of the reference frequency.
By this means, when there is a change in the reference frequency while the reference frequency is being pulled in, it is possible to review the number of corrections following the change.
[0023]
Preferably, the maximum correction width has a size that does not affect reception characteristics and is stored in a nonvolatile memory.
By this means, even when the accuracy of the demodulator of the mobile phone device and the oscillator with the frequency control device is changed, the maximum correction width as a parameter can be stored in the nonvolatile memory, and a stable correction width can be obtained. It can be done flexibly.
[0024]
Furthermore, the present invention provides an automatic frequency control correction method for performing correction control of a reference frequency supplied to a PLL, the step of generating the reference frequency that requires a certain time for one correction, and a maximum correction of the frequency error of the reference frequency. is greater than the width, the pre-Symbol frequency error divided by the maximum correction width, the quotient to obtain the remainder, the quotient and the number of corrections, only sequentially number of corrections to the maximum correction width to the frequency control function oscillator Providing an automatic frequency control correction method, comprising: setting and finally setting the remainder correction width.
[0025]
By this means, as in the above invention, the reference frequency is corrected repeatedly with the maximum correction width, so even if the reference frequency is greatly deviated, the line is not disconnected without increasing the convergence time of the reference frequency, Enable communication with the base station.

As shown in this figure, the 8-bit image from 00h (0d) to FFh (255d) represents the correction range of TCXO6. For example, 80h (128d) represents a value in a state where there is no error in the reference frequency. Suppose that

On the other hand, in the present invention, δ is divided as follows. That is, for example, if the maximum correction width is 10d, the maximum correction width setting unit 7A determines that 46d is larger than 10d, and divides the correction value by the maximum correction width.

T = td × (23 = 46/2) = 23td
Thus, the convergence time of the reference frequency becomes long.
[0035]
As described above, by performing the AFC control pull-in operation with the maximum correction width (maximum correction width MAX) that does not affect the reception characteristics, even when the reference frequency is greatly shifted, the convergence time of the reference frequency is increased. Therefore, the reference frequency can be converged with a stable correction width.
Since the value of the maximum correction width MAX varies depending on the accuracy of the

As shown in this figure, as compared with FIG. 2, in step S303, a process for determining whether or not the mobile phone device is immediately after power-on is included.
Naturally, the reference frequency in the cellular phone device immediately after power-on may be greatly shifted because it has not communicated with the base station until then, and communication cannot be performed unless AFC control is performed and the reference frequency is matched. There is a fear.
[0038]
Therefore, immediately after the power is turned on, it is required to make the convergence time in the

Also that monitors the variation of the reference frequency in a middle of performing the pull-in operation the reference frequency.
When there is a variation of the reference frequency while draws criteria frequency, it is possible to review the number of corrections by following the above variation.
[0041]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when a reference frequency that requires a certain time for correction once is generated and the frequency error of the reference frequency is larger than the maximum correction width, the frequency error is divided by the maximum correction width. Thus, since the number of corrections for correcting the reference frequency with the maximum correction width and the remainder of the correction width smaller than the maximum correction width are obtained, the reference frequency is corrected repeatedly with the maximum correction width. In this case, communication with the base station is possible without increasing the convergence time of the reference frequency and without disconnecting the line.
[0042]
In addition, even if the frequency error of the reference frequency is larger than the maximum correction width, the maximum correction width setting unit sets the frequency error at once for the oscillator with the frequency control function immediately after the power is turned on. By accelerating the convergence time, it becomes possible to quickly communicate with the base station immediately after the power is turned on.
Furthermore, the maximum correction width setting unit is adapted to review the number of repetitions of correction following the change in the reference frequency while the oscillator with a frequency control device is performing the reference frequency pull-in operation. If the reference frequency changes during the period, the number of corrections can be reviewed following the change.
