【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、開封が容易なガセットタイプ包装袋に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、内容物の収容容積〔包装内容積(cm3)/包装材面積(cm2)比〕が大きく、内容物の単位収容量当たりの包装材コストが安価であり、また、立てた状態で陳列することができるためにスペース的にも有利であり商品見栄えが良いなどの理由から収容量の多い内容物に好適な袋としてガセットタイプ包装袋が用いられている。

しかし、ガセットタイプ包装袋は、両側部に横断面V字状の折込部があり、この折込部を外した折込部と直交する端縁にV字状やI字状の切欠や切込を設け、これを開封開始手段として袋を開封するように構成されている。この開封開始手段により袋を開封すると、縦方向(折込部に平行な方向)に不規則な形状に開口するために、粉体や顆粒状等の内容物の場合には、開封時に内容物が零れて周囲に飛散するといった問題や使用後に残った内容物を保管する際には、開封した開口を塞ぐことが結構煩雑であるといった問題があった。

そこで、上記問題を解決するガセットタイプ包装袋が提案されている(たとえば、特許文献1参照)。特許文献1記載の考案は、ガセットタイプ包装袋を横方向(折込部に直交する方向)に開封する工夫が盛込まれた提案であって、袋体の横方向側部に側シール部を設けると共に該側シール部に開口シール部の内側を横方向に引き裂き得るノッチを設け、ノッチの反対側に位置する折り込み部にノッチから延びる引き裂き予定線上における折り込み内部先端角部と表裏面とをスポット状のヒートシール部で溶着して一体化した構成からなるガセットタイプ包装袋であって、このように構成することによりガセットタイプ包装袋を横方向(折込部に直交する方向)にほぼ一定の形状に開口することができて粉体や顆粒状等の内容物の場合においても開封時に内容物が零れる虞がなく、使用後に残った内容物を保管する際にも開封した開口を容易に塞ぐことができるというものである。

しかしながら、本発明者が実際に特許文献1記載の考案に基づいて袋を試作して引き裂き開封を試みたところ、折り込み内部先端角部までは容易に引き裂くことができるが、引き裂きが進み引き裂き先端がスポット状のヒートシール部の折り込み内部先端角部に至ると折り込み内部先端角部が引き裂き時に大きな抗引き裂き部となり、スムーズに引き裂くことができなかった。

本発明者は、上記課題を達成するために、請求項1記載の本発明は、少なくとも内層が熱接着性樹脂層からなる矩形状積層体の対向する端縁を前記内層同士が当接するように重ね合わせて熱接着して合掌シール部を有する筒状体となし、該筒状体の対向する両側部に横断面V字状の折込部を設け、その一方の折込部の一方の側端縁に前記合掌シール部が位置するように構成し、前記筒状体の上下端縁部を上下端縁熱接着部で熱接着して密封したガセットタイプ包装袋において、前記合掌シール部と前記側端縁熱接着部の対向する位置に開封開始手段を形成し、該開封開始手段により包装袋を引裂いた際の引裂き仮想線上にある他方の前記折込部の折込先端部を含むように前記折込先端部を跨いで前記内層同士を熱接着した開封補助熱接着部を設けると共に前記開封補助熱接着部内の他方の前記折込部の折込先端部を少なくとも切断する開封補助手段を設けており、前記開封補助熱接着部は前記上端縁熱接着部に連接して設けられており、前記開封補助手段は前記開封補助熱接着部の周端には達しない包装袋を貫通する切込から構成されていることを特徴とするものである。
