本発明は、航空機等の板金部品の生産のような多品種少量生産に用いられる雄型のみによるプレス成形に対して、簡易な構造で板金成形材に引っ張り応力を付加しながらプレス成形を行うストレッチプレス成形を可能にしたストレッチプレス成形方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
航空機等の板金部品の生産のような多品種少量生産には、雄型のみを用い、この雄型に板金成形材を押圧してプレス成形を行う方法が広く行われている。雄型に対して板金成形材を押圧させるためには、ゴム等の弾性体や液体からなる押圧体を用いて、雄型上に設置した板金成形材の上から押圧体を押し付けプレス成形を行う。

ゴムによる押圧体を用いたゴムプレス成形の従来例を図4〜図6によって説明する。図4において、102は雄型となるアルミニウム製の芯金であって、板金成形材104の重量軽減孔を加工するための凹部102aが上面に形成されており、板金成形材104を設置した際の位置ずれを防止するための位置決めピン112が上面に形成されている。この芯金102の上面に板金成形材104が設置される。板金成形材104には、予め、上記位置決めピン112と対応する位置に位置決め孔114、形成後のシワ防止のための切り欠き124、航空機構造等の重量軽減のための重量軽減孔134が形成されている。

図5は上記従来のゴムプレス成形の作動原理を示す説明図である。上記の板金成形材104の位置決め孔114と位置決めピン112とを嵌合させた状態で芯金102をベース101上に載置し、その上から厚さ数十cmに及ぶゴム106を押圧する。このゴム106には、側面に圧力が周辺へ放散するのを防止するためのゴムガイド107が設けられ、上面には油圧等により発生したラム圧をゴムに伝えるための天板108が配置される。これによって、板金成形材104が雄型となる芯金102に上面及び一部側面から押し付けられてプレス成形が施される。図6にその成型品を示す。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述したゴムプレス成形は、雄型のみによる簡単な構造でプレス成形ができることから、多品種少量生産には適するが、芯金に板金成形材を完全に密着させた状態で押し付けることができないので、図6に示すように曲面部にシワAが発生する問題がある。また、構造上側圧を大きくすることができないことから、成型品から押圧力を取り除いた後に曲げ戻し、即ちスプリングバッグが発生する問題がある。

このシワの発生やスプリングバックの発生を防止するためには、一般に板金成形材に対して引っ張り力を作用させながらプレス成形を行うストレッチプレス成形が有効であることが知られている。雄型のみを用いたストレッチプレス成形としては図7に示すシートストレッチャ200による成形がある。これは、板金成形材201の両側部を把持固定手段202に固定して、ラム204のラム圧によって芯金203を板金成形材201に押圧させるものである。しかしながら、このシートストレッチャ200による成形では、成形材の把持固定に手間取り生産性が低下する問題があり、また、図4に示すような表面に凹部が形成された芯金や表面が凹状の曲率を有する芯型では、芯型の窪みを押すことができないといった問題がある。

本発明は上述の事情に対処するために提案されたもので、多品種少量生産に適する多様な芯金を用いることができ、雄型のみの簡易且つ生産性の高いプレス成形であって、しかもシワの発生やスプリングバックの発生を防止し得るストレッチプレス成形方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明によるストレッチプレス成形方法は、板金成形材に引っ張り力を付加しながらプレス成形を行うストレッチプレス成形方法において、プレスのベース上に雄型となる芯金と共に該芯金の両側に所定距離をおいてシート受け台を載置し、上記芯金とシート受け台との上に板金成形材を設置し、上記シート受け台上に上記板金成形材を挟んでシート押さえ部材を設置した後、上記シート押さえ部材及び板金成形材をゴムプレスによって押圧して、上記板金成形材にストレッチプレス成形を施すことを特徴とする。

上記の構成によると、従来のゴムプレス成形と同様に、雄型のみの簡易なプレス成形が可能であって、雄型となる芯金は表面に凹部が形成されたような多様な形態であっても成形可能である。そして、この芯金の両側に成形トライ等によって決定される所定の距離をおいて載置したシート受け台とその上に設置されるシート押さえ部材とによって板金成形材の両側が挟持されることによって、ゴムプレスの押圧によるプレス成形時に板金成形材にストレッチ作用が付加される。このストレッチ作用によって、成形後のシワの発生やスプリングバックの発生が防止できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態を図面を参照して説明する。図1は本発明の一実施例に係るストレッチプレス成形方法を示す断面説明図である。この実施例ではゴムプレス成形によって実施した場合を示しているが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなくゴムと置換可能な他の押圧体によっても実施可能である。

図1において、1は平板状のベース、2は芯金、3はシート受け台を示している。芯金2は、アルミニウム製の雄型であって、凹凸形状のプレス成形が可能なように表面に窪みが形成されたものを採用している。ベース1上で芯金2の同一平面上に一対のシート受け台3が載置される。シート受け台3は上面及び下面に水平面が形成される角材状のアルミニウム製部材である。一対のシート受け台3は芯金2の両側に載置されるが、シート受け台3と芯金2との間隔は成形トライ等を考慮して所定の距離だけ離して設置する。

4は板金成形材であって、厚さ1.8mm程度のアルミニウム製の板である。板金成形材4は芯金2と一対のシート受け台3との上に設置される。この際、板金成形材4の大きさは経済性を考えて可能な限り小さくして、シート受け台3の高さを通常芯金2の高さと同じ高さにする。板金成形材4の大きさを大きくする場合は、所望のストレッチ作用を得るためにシート受け台3の高さを芯金2より高くする必要がある。

以上の実施例で説明したように、本発明によれば、所謂シートストレッチャのように板金成形材の両端を挟持するのに手間取ることがなく、単純にベース上にシート受け台とシート押さえ部材とを置くだけで済むので、作業は極めて簡単で高い生産性が得られる。また、通常のシートストレッチャでは得られない凹部を有する成形が可能であるから、多品種少量生産に対応する多様な雄型に適用可能である。更には、通常のゴムプレスではなし得ないストレッチ作用を付加することが可能であって、型への馴染みやスプリングバックの発生防止をもたらすことができる。

なお、シート受け台3及びシート押さえ部材5は、角材状に限定されるものではない。また、その配置も側面に限定されるものではなく、芯金2の四方を囲う配置や円柱状のものでもよく、四方を囲う場合は全周均等なストレッチ成形が可能になり、点対称の部材成形に有効である。

本発明のストレットプレス成形方法は、上記のように構成されるので、多品種少量生産に適する多様な芯金を用いることができ、雄型のみの簡易且つ生産性の高いプレス成形であって、しかもシワの発生やスプリングバックの発生を防止し得るストレッチプレス成形を可能にする。
