【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、大気汚染防止や粉体捕集等の目的で使用されるバグフィルタ(bag filter)の内、圧縮空気等によりろ布で捕集した粉体を払い落とすようにしたバグフィルタを用いた、乾式の濾過式集塵機のバグフィルタシステムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
乾式の濾過式集塵器において用いられるバグフィルタは、一般産業界において各種の用途に用いられている。例えば、都市ごみ焼却炉から排出される排ガスの処理に広く用いられている。焼却炉から排出される排ガス中には各種のダストが含まれ、環境汚染の原因となりうるため、除去する必要がある。しかし、湿式の集塵方法によると構造が複雑で維持管理も煩雑であり、この観点から、バグフィルタを用いた乾式の集塵が極めて効果的である。

すなわち、バグフィルタは、取り付け板116の開口116Aにろ布ユニット110が挿入された構成を有する。開口116Aは複数設けられ、それぞれにろ布ユニット110が挿入されている場合が多い。

ろ布ユニット110は、支持部111とその一端に設けられた封筒状のろ布本体112とからなる。ろ布本体112を介して濾過集塵が行われる。ろ布本体112の直径Dは、例えば約8〜18cm程度であり、その全長Lは、2〜8mに渡る場合もある。また、その材質としては、例えばポリエステル系(商標名テトロン)、ポリアミド系、ポリフェニレンサルファイド系またはポリイミド系などの合成繊維もしくはガラス繊維などの無機繊維等から構成される織布またはフェルト(不織布)などが用いられることが多い。

このようなバグフィルタにおいては、ダストを捕集するに従ってその濾過速度が低下するため、捕集ダストを定期的に払い落とす必要がある。この払い落としの方法としては、振動方式、逆圧コラップス方式、脈動逆圧方式、及びパルスジェット方式などを挙げることができる。これらの方式のうちで、パルスジェット方式は、圧縮空気等をパルス状に吹き付けるものであり、濾過中にダストの払い落としができるという利点を有する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、このようなバグフィルタのろ布ユニットは、使用状況に応じて適宜交換する必要がある。しかし、従来は、ろ布ユニットの交換作業が容易でないという問題があった。すなわち、従来は、ろ布ユニット110の交換にあたって、特別の装置を用いず、作業者が、取り付け板116の上で支持部111を持ち上げ、そのろ布本体112の外側を直接触りながら、引き抜いて行くという作業形態が一般的であった。

しかし、パルスジェット方式のろ布本体112は、その外側にダストなどの粉体が付着しており、この交換作業時に、作業者がこの粉体を吸い込んでしまったり、また、ろ布ユニット110を運ぶ際に、粉体をまき散らかしてしまうという問題があった。このような粉体の飛散を復旧するためには、広範囲にわたる清掃作業が必要であった。さらに、バグフィルタで捕集する粉体が、例えば、ごみ焼却処理に際してダイオキシン類のような有害な物質を発生させる場合にも、従来の方法には問題があった。

この対策として、合成樹脂などの袋に入れながら、ろ布ユニット110を引き抜く方法も考えられる。しかし、ダストの飛散を防ぐためには、袋のシールを確実に行う必要がある。さらに、長尺のろ布本体を密封するためには、長い袋が必要とされ、その準備や回収後の取り扱いも容易ではない。すなわち、作業性が悪く、また、容易且つ確実にシールすることも困難であった。

本発明は、かかる課題の認識に基づいてなされたものである。すなわち、その目的は、簡易な構成によって発生する粉体に対する密閉化をはかり、クリーンで安全な抜き取り作業を実現するためのバグフィルタのろ布ユニット、その取り替え方法及び取り替え装置を提供することにある。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、図面を参照しつつ本発明の実施の形態について説明する。
図1は、本発明によるろ布ユニットを表す斜視概念図である。

本発明のろ布ユニット10は、支持部11とその先端に設けられたろ布本体12とを有する。支持部11には、溝部13が設けられ、ろ布ユニット10を取り付け板16の開口16Aに対して嵌合される。また、溝部13の裏側には、同溝部を支えるための金属製の板バネ14が設けられ、溝部13を開口16Aの端に対して圧接することによりろ布ユニット10の落下を防止している。支持部11の具体的な構成を説明すると、例えば、ろ布本体12の上端が内側から外側に向けて折り返され、その中にリング状の板バネ14が仕込まれている。さらに、板バネ14の外側に、2本の細い帯状の布を間隔をあけて配置し、これらの間に溝部13が形成されるようにしている。

また、支持部11の上端には、突出部15が設けられている。この突出部15は、後に詳述するように、ろ布ユニットの交換の際にその周囲を覆うための袋の先端部を固定するための固定手段としての役割を有する。

図2は、取り付け板16の上に取り替え装置20を設置した状態を表す。取り替え装置20は、ろ布ユニット10を覆う大きさの略円筒状の外筒28と、その内側に設けられた内筒29とを有する。内筒29の内側は、取り付け板16から引き出したろ布ユニット10を取り出すための貫通開口24を構成している。

また、外筒28と内筒29との間の空間は、合成樹脂など材料により形成された袋(筒部材)27を蛇腹状に折り畳んだ状態で格納するための格納部25を構成している。格納部25の上方には、袋27を取り出すための取り出し口26が設けられている。また、同図に想像線で表したように、ろ布ユニット10の突出部15と袋27とは、引き抜く際に結合することができる。

次に、本発明によるろ布ユニットの取り替え方法について説明する。

図3〜図5は、本発明による取り替え方法を例示する斜視概念図である。

取り替え前の状態においては、図3(a)に表したように、ろ布ユニット10が、取り付け板16の開口16Aに挿入固定されている。

取り替えに際しては、まず、同図(b)に表したように、対象とされるろ布ユニット10の上に取り替え装置20を設置する。

次に、同図(c)に表したように、ろ布ユニット10を取り付け板16から外す。具体的には、支持部11の溝部13と取り付け板16の開口端との間に取り外し用の治具31を差し込む。同図(c)は、このようにして板バネ14を曲げた状態を表す。板バネ14を曲げて、溝部13を開口16Aから離せば、支持部11を取り付け板16から外すことができる。

次に、図4(a)に表したように、ろ布ユニット10を上方に引き上げて、少し持ち上げた状態とする。

次に、図4(b)に表したように、取り替え装置20の袋27の先端を外筒28の上端より少し上方へ抜き出す。

そして、図4(c)に表したように、ろ布ユニット10の突出部15と取り替え装置20の袋27の先端部とをホッチキス32等により結合する。この状態で、ろ布ユニット10の上部側面は、袋27の中に収容されている。

次に、図5(a)に表したように、蓋33を被せる。この蓋33は、例えば合成樹脂などの材料により形成され、ろ布ユニット10の上方から被せることができるサイズを有する。また、蓋33の代わりに、合成樹脂などにより別途形成された袋を被せても良い。

次に、図5(b)に表したように、蓋33を封止する。具体的には、外部から細いワイヤー34などで縛り、支持部11に設けられた溝部13を利用して蓋33を密封固定する。ワイヤー34の代わりにゴムなどの伸縮性のバンドを用いても良い。この状態で、ろ布ユニット10の上部は、全て袋27の中に収容され、ダストの飛散が防止される。

次に、図5(c)に表したように、ろ布本体12を袋27に収容されたままの状態で引き抜く。そして、最後に、ろ布本体12の下に垂れ下がった袋27を封止する。すなわち、細いワイヤー35などにより袋を縛って密封する。この状態で、ろ布ユニット10の全ての部分が、合成樹脂などの袋27の中に密封される。この後に、必要に応じて袋27の残余部分を切断する。ろ布ユニット10は、袋27の中に密閉されたままの状態で外に持ち去ることができる。

以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明によれば、バグフィルタの使用済みろ布ユニットを袋の中に密閉した状態で引き抜くことができる。その結果として、ダストの飛散を解消し、前述した種々の問題を解決することができる。

さらに、本発明においては、取り替え装置20の外筒28と内筒29との間に袋27を格納し、取り替え装置20の上側の開口から上方に向けて順次引き出すことができる。つまり、ろ布ユニット10を上方に引き出す動作に合わせて、袋27を上方にスムーズに引き出すことができる。その結果として、袋27を順次引き出す際に、絡ませたり詰まらせたりすることがなくなり、ろ布ユニット10を袋27に収容する作業を極めて円滑且つ確実に行うことができる。

さらに、本発明によれば、外筒28と内筒29との間の格納部26に袋27を折り畳んだ状態で格納することにより、ろ布本体12の長さよりも十分に長い袋27を格納することが可能となる。その結果として、複数のろ布ユニット10の取り出し作業を連続して実施することができる。つまり、図5(c)に表したようにろ布ユニット10の下端において袋27を縛り、切断した後に、取り替え装置20を次のろ布ユニット10の上に移動し、残った袋27を用いて引き抜き作業を直ちに再開することが可能となる。

なお、ろ布ユニット10を密閉するための袋27は、ろ布ユニット取り替え作業の現場において外筒28と内筒29との間の格納部26に折りこんでもよいが、別の場所で予め蛇腹状に折り込み済みのものを作業場に持ち込むことにより、さらに効率的な作業が可能となる。例えば、内筒29の周囲に袋27を蛇腹状に折り畳んだ状態のものをカートリッジとして複数個用意し、使用済みの内筒29と適宜交換して外筒28の内部に装填できるようにすれば、極めて迅速に複数のろ布ユニット10の抜き取り作業を進めることができる。

または、外筒28と内筒29との間の格納部26に挿入することができるカートリッジ(図示せず)を作成し、このカートリッジ内に袋27を折り畳んだ状態で格納しても良い。この場合には、袋27が格納されたカートリッジを複数個用意し、空になったカートリッジと適宜交換することにより、ろ布ユニットの抜き取り作業を迅速に進めることができる。このようなカートリッジは、例えば、紙やプラスチックなどにより形成することができる。

さらに、図2に例示した取り替え装置20においては、袋27を上方の取り出し口26から装填する場合を例示したが、これ以外にも、下方から装填するようにしても良い。すなわち、図2において、内筒29の下端付近に図示しない可動蓋を設け、この可動蓋を開けることにより、格納部26に下側から格納できるようにしても良い。このようにすれば、装填済みの袋27の一部を用いて、あるろ布ユニットの交換を行い、さらに次のろ布ユニットの交換を始める前に、格納部26の下からさらに新しい袋27を前もって装填することができる。つまり、袋27を取り替え装置20の下側から詰めて上側から引き出すことができ、袋を詰めた順に連続して使用することができる。

ここで、ろ布ユニット上部の突出部15の材料としては、バグフィルタの使用中に温度やガスの組成等で劣化しないことが必要とされる。すなわち、バグフィルタが使用される環境において、バグフィルタ本体のろ布と同程度あるいはそれ以上の耐久性を有する材料であることが望ましい。

また、この突出部15は、合成樹脂等の袋27と安定且つ確実にて結合させるため、複数個取り付けることが望ましい。一方、ろ布に蓄積したダストを振り落とすために圧縮空気等によるパルスジェットを印加する際に、この突出部15がろ布への空気流れを阻害しないようにする必要がある。このためには、本発明者の実験の結果、突出部15の代表的寸法は、幅10〜20mm、長さ10〜30mmとすることが望ましいことが分かった。

一方、ろ布ユニット10の上部に袋27を固定する手段は、突出部15に限定されない。

図6は、袋27の固定手段の変形例を表す断面概念図である。同図に表した例においては、ろ布ユニット10の溝部13を利用して、ワイヤー36により袋27を縛りつけて固定している。このようにしても同様に袋27を取り付けることができる。ここで、ワイヤー36の代わりにゴムなどの伸縮製のバンドを用いても良い。さらに、これらの代わりに、支持部11の外側に圧接固定できる外側リング(図示せず)を用意し、支持部11と外側リングとの間に袋27を挟んで固定するようにしても良い。

図8は、袋27の固定手段のさらに別の変形例を表す断面概念図である。同図に表した例においては、ろ布ユニット10の上方において、袋27の上端をワイヤー38により縛って密封する。ワイヤーの代わりにゴムなどの伸縮製のバンドなどを用いても良い。この場合には、ろ布ユニット10に対して袋27は直接的には固定されないが、ろ布ユニット10を引き抜くに従って、袋27も引っ張られて引き出すことができる。また、この場合には、蓋33を設けることなく、ろ布ユニット10の上側を密封することができる。

次に、本発明の取り替え装置の変形例について説明する。
図9は、本変型例による取り替え装置を取り付け板16の上に設置した状態を表す概念図である。本変形例の取り替え装置20aも、ろ布ユニット10を覆う大きさの略円筒状の外筒28と、その内側に設けられた内筒29とを有する。外筒28の外周部には、持ち運びのためのハンドル28Hなどを設けても良い。また、内筒29の内側は、取り付け板16から引き出したろ布ユニット10を取り出すための貫通開口24を構成している。

外筒28と内筒29との間の空間は、合成樹脂など材料により形成された袋27を蛇腹状に折り畳んだ状態で格納するための格納部25を構成している。そして、本変形例においては、袋27を格納部25の下方に設けられた取り出し口26aから取り出す。

さらに、本変形例においては、外筒28の下部に排気口28Nが設けられている。ろ布ユニット10の交換作業の際には、ろ布本体12の外側に付着したダストが脱離して飛散する場合がある。しかし、排気口28Nにホースなどを介して吸引ファンなどの排気手段を接続し、取り替え装置の内部を排気することにより、ダストの飛散を解消することができる。このような排気口28Nは、図2に例示した取り替え装置20についても同様に設けることができる。

本発明は、以上説明した形態で実施され、以下に説明する効果を奏する。

まず、本発明によれば、バグフィルタのろ布ユニットの上部に袋の先端を取り付け、ろ布ユニットを袋に覆われた状態で抜き出すことにより、ダストの飛散を確実且つ容易に防止することができる。

また、本発明によれば、バグフィルタのろ布ユニットの上部に突出部を設け、あるいは内側リングなどの固定手段を設けることにより、合成樹脂等の袋をろ布ユニットに容易且つ確実に取り付けることができる。
