・ G():デルタ縮約関数。
・ F():暗号化関数。好ましくは狭義の一方向ハッシュ関数であるが、所望の暗号特性を実現できる関数であれば、たとえば鍵付一方向ハッシュ関数、トラップドアハッシュ関数、非対称解読関数、または対称暗号化関数までも含めて、いかなる暗号化関数を用いてもよい。

Claims (9)
- 記憶媒体上のコンテンツへのアクセスを許可する方法であって、
前記記憶媒体の物理特性を示す物理パラメータの変動として該記憶媒体上に暗号化された暗号データを、前記変動を読み出すことにより取得する工程と、
前記記憶媒体からヘルパーデータを読み出す工程と、
前記暗号データを主入力、前記ヘルパーデータを副入力として、デルタ縮約関数を適用して得られた出力値に基づいて、前記コンテンツへのアクセスを許可するか否かを決定する工程とを含み、
前記デルタ縮約関数は、前記副入力が、前記主入力の信号値の複数の範囲、および該複数の範囲の各々に対応する出力値を規定し、前記主入力の各信号値に対して、該対応する出力値を出力する関数であることを特徴とする方法。 - 少なくとも前記デルタ縮約関数を適用して得られた前記出力値に基づいて、暗号化された前記コンテンツを解読するための解読鍵を導出する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記出力値に加えて、さらに再生または記録装置により供給されるデータに基づいて、前記解読鍵を導出することを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記デルタ縮約関数を適用して得られた前記出力値が、前記記憶媒体上に記録された制御値に対応するときに、前記アクセスが許可されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記デルタ縮約関数を適用して得られた前記出力値に暗号化関数を適用する工程と、該暗号化関数の出力を前記制御値と比較する工程とを含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記暗号化関数が、一方向ハッシュ関数であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の方法。
- 記憶媒体上のコンテンツへのアクセスを許可するように設計された装置であって、
前記記憶媒体の物理特性を示す物理パラメータの変動として該記憶媒体上に暗号化された暗号データを、前記変動を読み出すことにより取得する第1読出手段と、
前記記憶媒体からヘルパーデータを読み出す第2読出手段と、
前記暗号データを主入力、前記ヘルパーデータを副入力として、デルタ縮約関数を適用して得られた出力値に基づいて、前記コンテンツへのアクセスを許可するか否かを決定するアクセス制御手段とを含み、
前記デルタ縮約関数は、前記副入力が、前記主入力の信号値の複数の範囲、および該複数の範囲の各々に対応する出力値を規定し、前記主入力の各信号値に対して、該対応する出力値を出力する関数であることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項7記載の装置を含み、該装置により前記アクセスが許可されたときに再生および/または記録を実施するように設計されている再生および/または記録装置。
- プロセッサに請求項1から6いずれか1項記載の方法を実行させるように設計されたコンピュータプログラム。
