Description

The present invention relates to a CATV device such as a CATV tap-off and a branch / distributor that branches and distributes a power supply voltage and a high-frequency signal in a CATV transmission line.

A tap-off, which is one of the CATV devices, includes a lid A and a tap-off main body H as shown in FIG. In the case B of the lid A, an input side terminal D connected to an input side terminal C to which an input side coaxial cable can be connected, and an input side terminal connected to an output side terminal E to which an output side coaxial cable can be connected. A terminal F and a metal short-circuit material G capable of short-circuiting both terminals are provided. The short-circuiting material G is a leaf spring whose both axial ends are inclined downward, and when the tap-off body H is not attached, one end contacts the input-side terminal D as shown in FIG. Is in contact with the output-side terminal terminal F to short-circuit the input-side terminal C and the output-side terminal E.

6A, when the tap-off body H is attached to the lid A, the pusher J of the lid A is pushed up by the printed circuit board I of the tap-off body H, and both ends of the short-circuit material G are pushed by the pusher J. The portion is pushed up to be electrically disconnected from the input side terminal C and the output side terminal E.

When exchanging the tap-off shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B with one having a different number of branches, exchanging with a different dB value, or constructing a CATV line, remove the tap-off main body H from the lid A. The tap-off body H is attached to the lid A after replacement or construction. In this case, the tap-off body H is securely attached, and it is impossible to confirm on the spot whether or not both ends of the short-circuit material G are electrically disconnected from the input side terminal C and the output side terminal E. Even if there is an improper installation, it is not noticeable until an abnormality is discovered, and image degradation may occur due to the intrusion of external noise, which may inconvenience subscribers.

The CATV device of the present invention is a CATV device composed of a lid and a device body. When the device body is attached to the lid, the high-frequency system path and the power supply voltage system path of the device body are the input side terminal and output side terminal of the lid. It can be confirmed visually or auditorily from the outside of the CATV device that it is touched.

The CATV device of the present application includes a lid provided with a short-circuit material capable of short-circuiting the input side terminal and the output side terminal, and a device body detachably attached to the lid and provided with a high-frequency system path and a power system path. And
When the device main body is attached to the lid, the short-circuit material is pushed by the device main body to leave the input side terminal and / or the output side terminal of the lid, and the high frequency system path and the power supply voltage system path of the apparatus body Touch both the input side terminal and the output side terminal,
When the device main body is removed from the lid, the push of the short-circuit material by the device main body is released, the short-circuit material contacts both the input side terminal and the output side terminal of the lid, and the high frequency signal input to the input side terminal And a CATV device in which the power supply voltage is output to the output side terminal through the short-circuit material,
An alarm is provided on the lid or the device body so that they can be confirmed from the outside, and the alarm is short-circuited when the short-circuit material contacts the input side terminal and the output side terminal of the lid by removing the device body from the lid. When the device body is attached to the lid, the short-circuit material is separated from the input side terminal and output side terminal of the lid, and the high frequency line and power supply voltage line of the device body are When the input side terminal and the output side terminal are contacted, it becomes inoperative, and it is possible to confirm that the high frequency system path and the power supply voltage system path of the device main body are in contact with the input side terminal and the output side terminal of the lid.

The CATV device of the present application has the following effects.
(1) Since the alarm is provided on the lid or device body so that they can be confirmed from the outside, when the device body is attached to the lid, the high-frequency circuit and power supply voltage circuit of the device body are the input side terminals of the lid. It can be confirmed from the outside of the CATV device that the output side terminal is touched.
(2) Since the alarm device is operated by a high-frequency signal or power supply voltage flowing through the short-circuit material, it is not necessary to separately provide a power source for operating the alarm device, and even if the alarm device is provided, the CATV device is not significantly enlarged.

(Embodiment 1)
An example of an embodiment of the CATV device of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings by taking tap-off as an example. A tap-off 1 shown in FIG. 1 includes a lid 2 and a device main body (tap-off main body) 3 that can be attached to and detached from the lid 2. A screw hole 2a having a lower opening is formed at several locations on the outer peripheral edge of the lid 2. When the screw 4 inserted into the screw hole 3a of the tap-off body 3 is screwed into the screw hole 2a, the tap-off body 3 is covered with the lid 2. 2 and the tap-off body 3 is detached from the lid 2 when the screw 4 is loosened while the tap-off body 3 is mounted on the lid 2.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the lid 2 is formed with an input side terminal 6 to which an input side cable can be attached and detached, and an output side terminal 7 to which an output side cable can be attached and detached. A metal input side terminal terminal 8 is disposed inside the case 5 inside the input side terminal 6, and a metal output side terminal terminal 9 is disposed inside the output side terminal 7 inside the lid case 5. An elongated cover 12 made of resin and having a downward opening is disposed inside the ceiling surface of the case 5, and a metallic elongated strip-shaped short-circuit material 10 is disposed inside the cover 12, and is made of aluminum die casting or other metal. The lid case 5 is not touched.

The short-circuit member 10 is an elongated leaf spring in which both axial end portions 10a and 10b are inclined downward. When the tap-off main body 3 is not attached, one end is pressed against the input-side terminal terminal 8 and the other end is on the output side. The center conductor of the input side coaxial cable to be pressed and contacted with the terminal terminal 9 and attached to the input side terminal 6 -the input side terminal 6 -the input side terminal terminal 8 -the short circuit material 10 -the output side terminal terminal 9 -the output side A conduction path between the terminal 7 and the center conductor of the output side coaxial cable is secured (see FIG. 5).

In this embodiment, an LED is used as the alarm 16. The LED is electrically connected to the short-circuit material 10 as shown in FIG. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the LED 16 has a window 17 opened in the lid case 5 and is disposed in the window 17 so that lighting can be confirmed from the outside. Further, the LED 16 emits light by a high-frequency signal. As shown in FIG. 5A, the LED 16 is connected to the short-circuit material 10 via a filter circuit 18 that cuts the power supply voltage (low frequency) and passes only the high-frequency signal. Electrically connected. The filter circuit 18 includes a capacitor C.

The LED 16 may emit light by a power supply voltage (low frequency). In this case, the filter circuit 18 is a circuit having a choke coil L as shown in FIG. Thus, only the power supply voltage (low frequency) is allowed to pass. In this case, when a high frequency signal and a power supply voltage flow through the short-circuit material 10, the filter circuit 18 cuts the high frequency signal and passes only the power supply voltage (low frequency), and the LED 16 is turned on by the power supply voltage (low frequency). .

The emission color of the LED 16 can be any color. The LED 16 is easily noticeable when it has a high luminance.

When the center conductor of the input side coaxial cable attached to the input side terminal 6 is inserted, the input side terminal terminal 8 becomes conductive with the center conductor, and the output side terminal terminal 9 is output to be attached to the output side terminal 7. When the center conductor of the side coaxial cable is inserted, the center conductor is brought into conduction. As shown in FIG. 2, the metal input side terminal terminal 8 and the output side terminal terminal 9 are housed in a resin holder 11 attached to the inside of the lid case 5, and are made of aluminum die casting or other metal. The lid case 5 is not touched.

Two pushers 13a and 13b are slidably arranged up and down below both ends of the short-circuit member 10 in the axial direction. The pushers 13a and 13b are in the form of resin pins, and are vertically oriented in the insertion holes 15 of the resin support 14 attached to the inside of the lid case 5, as shown in FIGS. The diameter of the insertion hole 15 of the support tool 14 is set to the diameter of the short-circuiting material 10 side (upper end side) so that it can be slid up and down and is not dropped from the support tool 14 even when lowered by its own weight. And the diameter on the lower end side is thinned so that it can be inserted into the insertion hole 15.

As shown in FIG. 1, the tap-off main body 3 has a branch terminal 21 projecting from the bottom of an aluminum die-cast or other metal main body case 20, and a printed circuit board 22 is attached to the upper surface of the main body case 20. The printed circuit board 22 is equipped with electronic components such as a choke coil, a capacitor, and a resistor. These are connected, and various circuits necessary for tap-off such as a high-frequency system path through which a high-frequency signal passes and a power-supply voltage system path through which a power supply voltage passes. A system is formed.

As shown in FIG. 5, the basic configuration of the tap-off electric circuit is that a branching device 24 is connected between the input-side terminal 6 and the output-side terminal 7, and the branching device 21 is connected to the branching device 21 via the bi-distributor 25. Is connected. Further, a capacitor C 1 is connected between the upstream side of the branching device 24 and the input side terminal 6, and a capacitor C 2 is connected between the downstream side of the branching device 24 and the output side terminal 7, so that the power supply voltage (low frequency) ) And a high-frequency system path 26 through which only a high-frequency signal can pass is formed. A choke coil L is inserted in parallel between the input-side terminal 6 and the output-side terminal 7 to cut the high-frequency signal and only the power supply voltage. Is formed, through which a power supply voltage path 27 can pass.

As shown in FIG. 3, the printed circuit board 22 is provided with two metal electrodes 23a and 23b. When the tap-off body 3 is attached to the lid 2, the electrodes 23 a and 23 b are inserted into the input-side terminal terminal 8 and the output-side terminal terminal 9, and are connected to the input-side terminal 6 through the terminal terminals 8 and 9. The input side coaxial cable is in contact with the center conductor of the output side coaxial cable connected to the output side terminal 7. In this case, among the high frequency signal and the power supply voltage input to the input side terminal 6, the high frequency signal is output to the output side terminal 7 through the high frequency system path 26 of FIG. The power supply voltage is also output to the output side terminal 7 through the power supply voltage system 27 of FIG.

When the tap-off main body 3 is attached to the lid 2, as shown in FIG. 3, the pressing tools 13a and 13b of the lid 2 are pushed up by the printed circuit board 22 of the tap-off main body 3, and both axial ends 10a and 10b of the short-circuit material 10 are The shorting material 10 is electrically separated from the input side terminal 6 and the output side terminal 7 by being pushed up by the pressing tools 13 a and 13 b and separated from the input side terminal terminal 8 and the output side terminal terminal 9. At this time, the electrodes 23 a and 23 b of the tap-off body 3 are inserted into the input-side terminal 8 and the output-side terminal 9, respectively, and the high-frequency system path 26 and the power supply voltage system 27 of the tap-off body 3 are the input-side terminals of the lid 2. 6 and the output side terminal 7 are contacted. For this reason, it can be confirmed that the LED 16 is not turned on, and the high frequency system path 26 and the power supply voltage system path 27 are in contact with the input side terminal 6 and the output side terminal 7 of the lid 2.

When the tap-off body 3 is removed from the lid 2, as shown in FIG. 4, the push-up of both ends in the axial direction of the short-circuit material 10 is released, and both axial ends 10 a and 10 b of the short-circuit material 10 It is pressed downward by a spring force so as to come into contact with the input side terminal terminal 8 and the output side terminal terminal 9. In this case, the short-circuit material 10 short-circuits the input-side terminal 6 and the output-side terminal 7, the high-frequency signal and the power supply voltage flow through the short-circuit material 10, and the LED 16 is lit.

Further, when attaching the tap-off body 3 to the lid 2, if the attachment is not reliable and the short-circuit material 10 is not electrically disconnected from the input side terminal 6 and the output side terminal 7, the LED 16 remains on. Therefore, the tap-off main body 3 can be reliably reattached immediately. When the tap-off body 3 is securely attached to the lid 2, the high-frequency system path 26 and the power supply voltage system path 27 of the tap-off body 3 come into contact with the input side terminal 6 and the output side terminal 7 of the lid 2, so Since it is electrically disconnected from the terminal 6 and the output side terminal 7 and the LED 16 does not light up, it can be confirmed at a glance from the outside that it is securely attached.

(Other embodiments)
In the first embodiment, the LED 16 is installed at the lid case 5 by opening the window 17 so that the light emission can be confirmed from the outside provided in the window 17. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the LED can be installed at an arbitrary position such as the outside of the lid case as long as the LED can be turned on and off. Further, the number of LEDs is not limited to one, and can be two or more.

In the first embodiment, the LED 16 is used as a notification device that the short-circuit material 10 is in contact with both the input terminal 6 and the output terminal 7 of the lid. If it can be confirmed that the voltage system has contacted the input side terminal and output side terminal of the lid, it is not limited to LEDs, but any other light emitting device such as a lamp or light bulb, or a sound generating device such as a buzzer Any alarm device can be used.

In the first embodiment, the LED 16 is electrically connected to the short-circuit material 10 via the filter circuit 18, and the LED 16 is turned on by a high-frequency signal or a power supply voltage flowing through the short-circuit material 10. It is also possible to separately provide a power supply for an alarm device capable of confirming that the high frequency system path and the power supply voltage system path are in contact with the input side terminal and the output side terminal of the lid.

In the embodiment described above, a downstream signal is transmitted and a power supply voltage is supplied to the CATV device from the upstream side. However, the present invention, conversely, transmits an upstream signal and transmits the power supply voltage from the downstream side to the CATV device. It can also be applied to supply. In that case, the input side terminal in the above embodiment becomes the output side terminal, and the output side terminal becomes the input side terminal.

The CATV device of the present invention can be used for CATV devices other than tap-off.
