この発明は、体腔内等に挿入される内視鏡の挿入部に関する。

【従来の技術】
いわゆる可撓性内視鏡の挿入部は可撓管によって外装されていて、その先端には、手元側に連結された操作部からの遠隔操作によって屈曲自在な湾曲部が連結されている。そして、湾曲操作ワイヤを挿通して案内するための密着巻きコイルパイプ等からなるワイヤガイドが、可撓管内に挿通配置されている。

そのようなワイヤガイドは、先端と基端とが可撓管の先端部分と操作部とに固着され、中間部分は全長にわたって位置を規制されることなく可撓管内に配置されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述のようなワイヤガイドは、内視鏡使用中に挿入部が曲げられたり捩じられたりする度に、可撓管内で径方向に自由に移動するので、光学繊維束やチューブ類等の各種内蔵物を圧迫したり傷つけたりする場合がある。

そこで本発明は、可撓管内に挿通配置されているワイヤガイドによって他の内蔵物を圧迫したり傷つけたりするおそれのない内視鏡の挿入部を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するため、本発明の内視鏡の挿入部は、帯状部材をピッチ方向に隙間のあいたコイル状に巻いて形成された螺旋管と、複数の素線を並べた素線束を網状に編組して形成されて上記螺旋管の外面に被覆された網状管と、溶融状態で上記網状管の外面に被覆されて冷却されチューブ状に形成された可撓性の外皮とを有する可撓管により外装され、操作ワイヤを挿通して案内するためのワイヤガイドが上記可撓管内に挿通配置された内視鏡の挿入部において、溶融状態の外皮部材を、上記網状管の編み目部分を通って上記螺旋管の内面より内側まで突出させ、その突出片によって上記ワイヤガイドの位置を規制したものである。

そして、上記ワイヤガイドが密着巻きのコイルパイプの場合等に、上記突出片の突出長が上記ワイヤガイドの半径寸法より大きければワイヤガイドを安定して支持することができ、上記ワイヤガイドが上記可撓管の軸線に対して捩じれた状態に配置されていてもその位置を規制することができる。

また、上記突出片を所定の位置に形成するためには、突出片通過孔が上記螺旋管に形成されているとよく、手元側からの遠隔操作によって屈曲自在な湾曲部が上記可撓管の先端に連結されている場合に、上記操作ワイヤが上記湾曲部を屈曲させるためのものであってもよい。

【発明の実施の形態】
図面を参照して本発明の実施の形態を説明する。
図4は内視鏡の全体構成を示しており、体腔内に挿入される挿入部は可撓管1によって外装されていて、その基端(手元側端部)は操作部2の下端部に連結されている。

可撓管1の先端に連結された湾曲部3は、操作部2に配置された上下方向操作ノブ4Aと左右方向操作ノブ4Bからの遠隔操作によって、操作ワイヤ8を介して任意の方向に任意の角度だけ屈曲させることができ、対物光学系等を内蔵した先端部本体5が湾曲部3の先端に連結されている。

可撓管1内には、操作ワイヤ8を挿通案内するためのワイヤガイド9が配置されており、操作ワイヤ8の先端は湾曲部3の先端部分に固定されている。また、ワイヤガイド9の先端部分9aは可撓管1の先端に固着され、ワイヤガイド9の基端(手元側端部)9bは操作部2に固定されている。なお、操作ワイヤ8とワイヤガイド9は上下方向用に一対と左右方向用に一対の合計四組が設けられているが、図4には一組だけが図示されている。

また、操作部2の上端部近傍に連結された可撓性連結管6の先端には、図示されていないビデオプロセッサ兼光源装置に接続されるコネクタ7が取り付けられている。

図5は、挿入部の可撓管1の構成部材を一層ずつ順に剥がして示しており、最内層は、例えばステンレス鋼製又は銅合金製の帯状部材をピッチ方向に隙間111のあいたコイル状に巻いて形成された螺旋管11により構成されている。螺旋管11はここでは一重であるが、巻き方向を順に異ならせた二重あるいは三重以上のものであってもよい。

螺旋管11の外面には、金属製又は非金属製の複数の素線を並べた素線束を網状に編組して形成された網状管12が被覆されていて、その網状管12の外面に可撓性の外皮13が被覆されている。121は網状管12の編み目である。

外皮13は、例えばポリウレタン樹脂を主成分とする部材から形成されており、素材を押し出し成形機に入れて、加熱溶融された状態で網状管12の外面に直接被覆され、そのまま冷却されてチューブ状に形成されている。

ワイヤガイド9としては、例えばステンレス鋼線を円管状に密着巻きして形成されたコイルパイプが用いられており、四本のワイヤガイド9の先端部分9aは、可撓管1の先端口金14の内周面に銀ロー付け等によって、ほぼ90°間隔で固着されている。

先端口金14には、螺旋管11と網状管12の先端部分が半田付け等によって固着されている。ワイヤガイド9内には全長にわたって操作ワイヤ8が進退自在に挿通されているが、その図示は省略されている。

各突出片15は、ワイヤガイド9を両側から挟み込む位置に柱状に位置している。そこで、図6に示されるように、螺旋管11には、突出片15を通過させるための二列の孔112が所定位置に穿設されていて、そこを通って内方に突出する突出片15がワイヤガイド9を所定位置に固定するようになっている。

なお、孔112の形状は、図7に示されるように細くてもよく、図8に示されるように太い一列のものでもよく、要は所定位置に突出する突出片15が螺旋管11と干渉しないようにすればよい。

突出片15を所定位置に形成するために、外皮13が押し出し成形される際には、例えば図9に示されるような断面形状の芯金100が螺旋管11内に全長にわたって通され、成形後に外される。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、可撓管を形成する螺旋管の内面より内側に突出形成した突出片によってワイヤガイドの位置を規制したことにより、可撓管内に挿通配置されているワイヤガイドによって他の内蔵物を圧迫したり傷つけたりするおそれがなくなり、しかも、突出片は溶融状態の外皮部材を網状管の編み目部分を通って螺旋管の内面より内側まで突出させたものなので、多数の突出片を容易かつ低コストで形成してワイヤガイドの位置を安定的に規制することができる。

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an insertion portion of an endoscope that does not cause a risk of pressing or damaging another built-in object by a wire guide that is inserted and arranged in a flexible tube.

In order to achieve the above object, the insertion portion of the endoscope of the present invention includes a spiral tube formed by winding a strip-like member in a coil shape with a gap in the pitch direction, and a strand bundle in which a plurality of strands are arranged. A mesh tube formed by braiding in a mesh shape and covering the outer surface of the spiral tube; and a flexible sheath formed by coating the outer surface of the mesh tube in a molten state and cooling to form a tube shape.
