[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a wireless tag that includes a wireless antenna and a semiconductor integrated circuit chip, and operates by using wireless radio waves received from the outside as a power source.
The semiconductor integrated circuit chip is:
Non-volatile memory;
First data communication means for performing data communication with the outside using the radio wave as information, the information stored in the nonvolatile memory;
Including a second data communication means capable of data communication with the outside using a communication path other than radio waves.See
It further includes a coupling means that can be attached to and detached from an external device,
The second data communication means is capable of data communication with the device while being attached to the device by the coupling means,
Via the second data communication means, it is possible to read and write information stored in the nonvolatile memory,
When the activation is because the voltage is supplied by data communication using a communication path other than radio waves, data communication using radio waves is not accepted until data communication using a communication path other than radio waves is terminated, When activation is based on data communication using radio waves, data communication using a communication path other than radio waves will not be accepted until data communication using radio waves is completed. The wireless tag is characterized by the above.
[0010]
According to the present invention, the wireless tag includes a wireless antenna and a semiconductor integrated circuit chip, and operates using a wireless radio wave received from the outside as a power source. The semiconductor integrated circuit chip includes a non-volatile memory, first data communication means, and second data communication means. The first data communication means performs data communication with the outside using radio waves using information stored in the nonvolatile memory as transmission data. The second data communication means can perform data communication with the outside using a communication path other than radio waves. The first data communication means can operate as a responder to the interrogator according to the information stored in the nonvolatile memory. Since the second data communication means can perform data communication with an external device through a communication path other than the radio wave, the second data communication means can perform data communication with the outside without using the radio wave as a path. It can be carried out.
[0012]
AlsoThe second data communication means can read and write information stored in the non-volatile memory between the outside and the identification information necessary for data communication by the first data communication means, etc. Can be easily rewritten.
[0016]
AlsoIn a state where the wireless tag is attached to the device, the data communication using the radio wave by the first communication means is used to control other devices or from the attached device via the second data communication means. The information written in the non-volatile memory is moved by removing the wireless tag from the device, and the wireless tag is transferred by transferring the data to another device by radio communication via the radio wave by the first data communication means. It can be used as a data transfer medium.
[0018]
Further, exclusive control between data communication using radio waves and data communication using communication paths other than radio waves can be performed.
[0019]
Furthermore, the present invention providesThe nonvolatile memory further stores a wireless communication protocol control unit that is a part that defines a procedure of wireless communication, and a wireless communication command control unit that is a part that defines an operation for a wireless command,
The wireless communication protocol control unit and the wireless communication command control unit stored in the non-volatile memory can be rewritten during data communication using a communication path other than wireless radio waves. It is characterized byThe

In each of the embodiments described above, the wireless tag performs data communication with an external device via a wired communication cable or the like other than wireless communication. Data communication can also be performed by typical wireless communication.
[0053]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the data communication using the radio wave by the first data communication means realizes the function as a responder to the conventional wireless interrogator, and the second data communication means In addition to the function as a responder, the function can be expanded and used in data communication using a communication path other than the wireless radio wave.
[0054]
MaTheSince the information stored in the non-volatile memory can be read and written via the second data communication means, for example, the data held in the computer or the data processing device is moved to the non-volatile memory of the wireless tag, and the wireless A mobile memory device capable of reading can be realized. When data is stored in the non-volatile memory, the data stored in the non-volatile memory can be transferred by data communication via the radio wave if the radio tag is brought close to the radio wave range of the radio interrogator at a specific location. Can do. Outside the reach of radio waves, a communication path can be easily formed by connecting to a computer or a data processing device by wire or the like.
[0056]
MaTheThe wireless tag can be attached to / detached from an external device, and data communication by the second data communication means is possible in a state where the wireless tag is attached to the external device. Therefore, the wireless tag can be attached to the external device and used by the second data communication means. Data communication can be reliably performed, data communication via wireless radio waves can be performed while the device is attached to an external device, or it can be used as a medium after being removed from the external device.
[0057]
In addition, exclusive control between data communication using radio waves and data communication using communication paths other than radio waves can be performed, and operations when wireless communication and wired communication occur simultaneously can be controlled.
[0058]
AlsoAccording to the present invention,The wireless communication protocol control unit and the wireless communication command control unit can be changed during wired communication. Therefore, for example, at the time of wired communication, the load command is used to change the wireless communication command control unit, and the command at the time of wireless communication is changed so as not to operate the write command, or the interrogator having a unique number ( Or respond only to the interrogator). As a result, it becomes possible to change the data of the wireless tag so that it cannot be rewritten from wireless, or to select and operate an interrogator (interrogator) by wired communication. These are operating methods that could not be achieved with conventional wireless tags.
In addition, in order to rewrite data stored in the nonvolatile memory of the wireless tag, generally more power is required than when reading. For this reason, if the nonvolatile memory is rewritten only by radio waves, a writing device capable of transmitting radio waves with high power must be used. In the wireless tag according to the present invention, when a wired connection is made through a communication path other than a radio wave, necessary power can be supplied more easily than via a radio wave, so that an external device such as a general-purpose computer or a data processing device can be supplied. To rewrite the contents of nonvolatile memorybe able to.
