Description
A primary pulley and a secondary pulley that span the belt are provided, and the groove width of each pulley is changed by the differential pressure between the primary pulley pressure and the secondary pulley pressure created from the common hydraulic oil, and the input rotation from the engine is stepless The present invention relates to a state detection device used for a belt-type continuously variable transmission that can be changed to a belt-type continuously variable transmission and a control device for the belt-type continuously variable transmission.
When calculating the target gear ratio of the belt-type continuously variable transmission mounted on the vehicle in order to give a suitable propulsive force to the vehicle, not only the state in the belt-type continuously variable transmission but also the vehicle operation such as the driver's operation and vehicle speed, etc. I need to know the whole condition. For this reason, when performing speed change control of the belt type continuously variable transmission, the state detection device including a plurality of sensors and a controller such as a microcomputer is used to circulate the rotation speed of the primary pulley and the secondary pulley and the inside of the continuously variable transmission. Various physical quantities such as the temperature of the engine cooling water and the throttle opening indicating the open state of the throttle valve are detected as well as the temperature of the oil to be performed.
However, since the above-mentioned conventional device detects whether or not the common ground line has failed only with the temperature sensor, it is unclear whether the common ground line has failed or not when the temperature sensor itself has failed. Inconvenient part remains.
On the other hand, a method of giving certainty to the determination as to whether or not the common ground line has failed by using a sensor other than the temperature sensor is also conceivable. For example, in the case of a secondary pulley rotation sensor used for detecting a vehicle speed, generally, a detection signal is an AC voltage signal whose frequency changes according to the vehicle speed by detecting the passage of teeth of a gear-like member with a coil. Therefore, if the common ground line fails and is not grounded, no current flows and the detection signal becomes “zero”. However, the inventor of the present application, when using such a rotation sensor together with a temperature sensor, since the current does not flow and the detection signal becomes “zero” even when the engine is not started or when the vehicle is stopped, We have come to recognize that there is still an obscure part in determining whether the ground wire is broken.
The problem to be solved by the present invention has been made in view of these facts, and by selecting a sensor suitable for use in combination with a temperature sensor, the failure of a common ground line connecting a plurality of sensors integrally is increased. An object of the present invention is to provide a belt type continuously variable transmission state detection device that can be judged with reliability and a belt type continuously variable transmission control device having such a function.

According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the fourth aspect of the present invention, the common ground line failure determination means starts up-counting when triggered by the determination that all of the three voltage signals are maximum voltage signals. Count value calculation means for calculating a predetermined count value and whether or not all of the three voltage signals are maximum voltage signals until the end of the up-count, and at least one of the three voltage signals during the up-count Is determined not to be the maximum voltage signal, it is determined that the common ground line is functioning normally, and after all the three voltage signals are determined to be the maximum voltage signal even after the up-counting, It is characterized by comprising confirmation means for judging that the common ground line is broken.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the fourth or fifth aspect, the fail-safe control of the belt-type continuously variable transmission is triggered by the control unit determining that the common ground line has failed. A safe control means is additionally provided.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a state detection device for a belt type continuously variable transmission, in addition to a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of hydraulic oil circulating in the belt type continuously variable transmission at the same time as starting the engine. In order to determine a failure of a common ground line to which a plurality of sensors are integrally connected using a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor that detect a primary pulley pressure and a secondary pulley pressure generated from hydraulic oil, a belt type continuously variable It is possible to detect the failure of the common ground line even when the common ground line has already failed before the engine is started, as well as when the common ground line has failed during traveling in which transmission is actually executed in the transmission. it can. In addition, the combined use of the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor together with the temperature sensor for detecting the oil temperature is less likely to cause false detection of failure than when only the temperature sensor is used. Failure detection can be realized with high reliability. Therefore, according to the first aspect of the present invention, it is possible to always detect the failure of the common ground line with high reliability immediately after starting the engine.
Further, the invention according to claim 2 confirms this determination even if it is determined that all three voltage signals obtained by the temperature sensor, the first pressure sensor, and the second pressure sensor are maximum voltage signals. Is used as a trigger to count up to a predetermined count value, and even after the completion of the up-counting, if it is determined that all three voltage signals are maximum voltage signals, it is determined that the common ground line has failed. Therefore, the reliability of failure detection is further increased. Therefore, according to the second aspect of the present invention, it is possible to always detect the failure of the common ground line with higher reliability immediately after starting the engine.
Furthermore, the invention according to claim 3 is a state detection device that commands fail-safe control to the belt-type continuously variable transmission triggered by the determination that the common ground line has failed. Therefore, when ensuring the power transmission necessary for stable running, the transmission controller of the belt type continuously variable transmission can be applied without greatly changing the design, which is convenient.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a control device for a belt type continuously variable transmission, in addition to a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of hydraulic oil circulating in the belt type continuously variable transmission at the same time as starting the engine. A failure of a common ground line to which a plurality of sensors are integrally connected is determined using a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor that detect a primary pulley pressure and a secondary pulley pressure produced from the hydraulic oil, and the belt type Of course, if the common ground line breaks down during actual shifting in the continuously variable transmission, the common ground line also breaks down before the continuously variable transmission actually performs shifting. Can be detected. In addition, the combined use of the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor together with the temperature sensor for detecting the oil temperature is less likely to cause false detection of failure than when only the temperature sensor is used. Failure detection can be realized with high reliability. Therefore, according to the fourth aspect of the present invention, since the common ground line failure can be detected with high reliability immediately after the engine is started, the common ground line failure warning and fail-safe control can be performed immediately after the engine is started. Can always be performed with high reliability.
Further, according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, even if it is determined that all three voltage signals obtained by the temperature sensor, the first pressure sensor, and the second pressure sensor are maximum voltage signals, this determination is confirmed. Is used as a trigger to count up to a predetermined count value, and even after the completion of the up-counting, if it is determined that all three voltage signals are maximum voltage signals, it is determined that the common ground line has failed. Therefore, the reliability of failure detection is further increased. Therefore, according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, since the common ground line failure can always be detected with higher reliability immediately after the engine is started, the common ground line failure warning or failure can be performed immediately after the engine is started. Safe control can always be performed with higher reliability.
Further, in the invention according to claim 6, since the fail-safe control is instructed to the belt-type continuously variable transmission triggered by the determination that the common ground line is broken, the common ground line GND is immediately after the engine is started. Even if there is a failure, it is always possible to ensure the power transmission necessary for stable running.

The forward / reverse switching mechanism 7 further includes a forward clutch 7b that directly connects between the sun gear of the double pinion planetary gear set 7a and the carrier and a reverse brake 7c that fixes the ring gear. When the forward clutch 7b is engaged, the engine 5 passes through the torque converter 6. The input rotation is transmitted to the primary pulley 2 as it is, and the input rotation via the torque converter 6 from the engine 5 is transmitted to the primary pulley 2 under reverse deceleration when the reverse brake 7c is engaged.

In order to make it possible to change the rotational transmission ratio (transmission ratio) between the primary pulley 2 and the secondary pulley 3 during the power transmission described above, one of the flanges forming the V-grooves of the primary pulley 2 and the secondary pulley 3 is a fixed flange. 2a and 3a, and the
In shifting, the V groove widths of both pulleys 2 and 3 are changed by the differential pressure between the primary pulley pressure Ppri and the secondary pulley pressure Psec generated corresponding to the target gear ratio, as will be described later. The target gear ratio can be realized by continuously changing the winding arc diameter of the V-belt 4 with respect to 3.
The primary pulley pressure Ppri and the secondary pulley pressure Psec are controlled by the shift control

Thereby, the transmission controller 100 determines the target speed ratio Ip in the speed

In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the

First, at
In
In
In
As described above,
In
In
As described above,
According to this configuration, in addition to the
In particular, if
Further, in this embodiment, when it is determined in
According to such a configuration, since the fail-safe control is commanded to the continuously
In the present embodiment, the control flow shown in FIG. 4 is collectively executed by the transmission controller 100. However, the sensor group S is connected to the
