【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、使い捨て紙おむつ等に代表される吸収性物品に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】
従来、吸収性物品である使い捨て紙おむつ（以下、紙おむつという。）３００は、例えば、図８、９に示すように、不織布からなり使用面側を覆う透液性のトップシート３０１と、不織布からなり紙おむつ３００の外面を覆うバックシート３０２と、トップシート３０１とバックシート３０２との間に介在される吸収体３０３と、紙おむつ３００の両側部に表面側に起立する立体ギャザーＢ１を形成するギャザーシート３０４と、紙おむつ背側部３１０の両側部に設けられたファスニングテープ３０５とから主に構成されている。

ギャザーシート３０４は、吸収体３０３の側縁部３０３ａにおいてその幅方向中間部が紙おむつ３００の略長手方向に沿って固着され、この固着部よりも内方側の不織布シート部分によって表面側に起立する立体ギャザーＢ１が形成されている。この立体ギャザーＢ１は、吸収体３０３の側縁近傍位置に起立基点を有し、その先端が紙おむつ長手方向に沿って二重に折り返され、この折り返し部の内方に１本の糸状弾性ゴム３０６を、または必要により複数本の糸状弾性ゴム３０６を配設することにより、その伸縮力を利用して立体ギャザーＢ１を起立させるようになっている。

紙おむつ３００の幅方向縁部には、吸収体３０３よりも側方に延出するバックシート３０２とギャザーシート３０４とで形成されるサイドフラップ３２０が設けられ、このサイドフラップ３２０には、腹側部３１１から背側部３１０にかけて糸状弾性伸縮部材３０７が３本並列して設けられ、この糸状弾性伸縮部材３０７…が配置されたサイドフラップ３２０により脚周りギャザーＣ１が形成されている（例えば、特許文献１）。

また、立体ギャザーを配置した吸収体を脚周り領域がカットされたバックシートに貼り付けて脚周りギャザーを形成した紙おむつも知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記した従来の脚周りギャザーＣ１周辺構造の場合、糸状弾性伸縮部材３０７が設けられている部分よりも幅方向外側のサイドフラップ部分（以下、外側フラップ部という。）３２１の形状は、糸状弾性伸縮部材３０７の伸縮により波打った形状となっているため、おむつである印象が否めないという外観上の問題があった。
また、外側フラップ部３２１自体は、漏れ防止の役割はほとんどなく、無駄な部分であるという問題もあった。

さらに、特に、パンツ型の紙おむつの場合、外側フラップ部３２１が引っかかって足を入れにくく履きにくいという問題があった。

そこで、本発明の課題は、胴回りギャザー部の外観品質の向上とコストダウン、並びに装着しやすい吸収性物品を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、請求項１記載の発明は、図１〜図７に示すように、
請求項１記載の発明は、人体との接触面側に設けられるトップシート１１と、バックシート（１２、２１０）と、前記トップシートと前記バックシートとの間に腹側部（１５）から股下部（１７）を通って背側部（１６）にかけて介装される吸収体（１３）と、前記吸収体の両側部のそれぞれに沿って、腹側部から股下部を通って背側部に亘り設けられるギャザーシート（１４）と、を備える吸収性物品（例えば、使い捨て紙おむつ１、１００、２００）において、
前記ギャザーシートの幅方向端部（１４１）の位置が、前記バックシートの幅方向端部と同じかそれよりも内側であり、
前記バックシートの幅方向両端部（１２１、２１１）が折り返された折り返し部（１２ａ）に、当該折り返し部のバックシートに挟まれた状態で、前記腹側部から前記股下部を通って前記背側部にかけて弾性部材（例えば、第１の糸状弾性部材４０）が配設され、前記吸収体の側縁部と前記弾性部材との間であって前記ギャザーシートの立ち上がりの付け根に、前記バックシートの非折り返し部と前記ギャザーシートとに挟まれた状態で、前記腹側部から前記股下部を通って前記背側部にかけて第２の弾性部材（例えば、第２の糸状弾性部材４１）が設けられ、前記ギャザーシートの幅方向端部は、前記折り返し部と重なる位置に設けられていることを特徴とする。

請求項１記載の発明によれば、バックシートの幅方向両端部に腹側部から股下部を通って背側部にかけて弾性部材が配設されているので、従来の吸収性物品のように、弾性部材よりも外側のフラップ部分が形成されない。従って、バックシートと弾性部材とで形成される脚周り部分や股間部分の端部がすっきりした形状になるので、下着のように見え、外観品質が向上する。
また、外側フラップ部が形成されないので、その部分の材料が少なくなることとなっって、材料コストを削減できる。
加えて、脚周り部分に外側フラップが形成されないので、特に、パンツ型の吸収性物品の場合には、装着しやすいものとなる。

また、吸収体の両側部のそれぞれに沿って、腹側部から股下部を通って背側部に亘り設けられたギャザーシートの幅方向端部の位置が、バックシートの幅方向端部と同じかそれよりも内側なので、ギャザーシートが設けられるタイプの吸収性物品においても、同様の効果が得られる。

また、弾性部材は、バックシートの幅方向両端部が折り返された折り返し部に、当該折り返し部のバックシートに挟まれた状態で配設されているので、弾性部材を確実にバックシートの幅方向両端部に配設することができる。
また、例えば、パンツ型の吸収性物品においては、装着時に折り返し部を把持部として使用することができることとなって、履きやすいものとなる。

また、吸収体の側縁部と弾性部材との間に、バックシートの非折り返し部とギャザーシートとに挟まれた状態で、第２の弾性部材が腹側部から股下部を通って背側部にかけて設けられているので、脚周り部からの漏れをさらに防止することができるとともに、脚周りのフィット性もさらに向上させることができる。

請求項２記載の発明は、請求項１に記載の吸収性物品において、
前記トップシート、前記バックシート及び前記吸収体を含んで構成される本体（例えば、紙おむつ本体１０）と、
前記本体の前記背側部の両側方に延出した一対のサイドフラップ（２０）と、
前記腹側部の前記バックシートに設けられたターゲット部（３０）と、
前記サイドフラップに設けられ、前記ターゲット部に係止させるためのファスニング部材（例えば、ファスニングテープ２１）と、
を備えることを特徴とする。

請求項３記載の発明は、請求項１に記載の吸収性物品において、
前記トップシート、前記バックシート及び前記吸収体を含んで構成される本体（例えば、紙おむつ本体１０）と、
前記本体の前記腹側部及び前記背側部の両側方に延出して各々設けられた一対の伸縮性のサイドパネル（１１０）と、を備え、
前記本体の同一幅方向における前記腹側部及び前記背側部に設けられた前記サイドパネルの側端部（１１１ａと１１２ａ、１１１ｂと１１２ｂ）同士が固着されて胴周り開口部（１３０）が形成されてなることを特徴とする。

請求項３記載の発明によれば、いわゆるパンツ型の吸収性物品においても請求項１に記載の発明と同様の効果が得られるとともに、特に、装着しやすさの点では、展開型の吸収性物品に比べて効果が著しいものとなる。

請求項４記載の発明は、請求項１に記載の吸収性物品において、
前記バックシート（２１０）の前記腹側部及び前記背側部に幅方向に沿って配置された胴周り弾性部材（例えば、弾性伸縮部材２３０、２３１）を備え、
前記バックシートの同一幅方向における前記腹側部及び前記背側部の側端部同士が固着されて胴周り開口部（１３０）が形成されてなることを特徴とする。

請求項４記載の発明によれば、いわゆるパンツ型の吸収性物品においても請求項１に記載の発明と同様の効果が得られるとともに、特に、装着しやすさの点では、展開型の吸収性物品に比べて効果が著しいものとなる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を、図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。
本実施の形態では、吸収性物品として、特に、使い捨て紙おむつを一例として、以下に説明する。

［第１の実施の形態］
図１は、第１の実施の形態における使い捨て紙おむつを、トップシートを上面にして展開した平面展開図である。また、図２は、図１のII−II部断面である。更に、図３は、使い捨て紙おむつの装着時の状態に組立てた斜視図である。

図１〜図３に示すように、第１の実施の形態にかかる使い捨て紙おむつ（以下、紙おむつという。）１は、いわゆる展開型の紙おむつであって、本体としての紙おむつ本体１０と、この紙おむつ本体１０を人体に装着するためのサイドフラップ２０…と、ターゲット部３０とを備えている。

ここで、以下の説明において、長手方向とは、図１の紙面の上下方向をいい、幅方向とは図１の左右方向をいうものとする。また、内側とは、紙おむつ１の幅方向の中央側をいい、外側とは、紙おむつ１の幅方向の中央から離れる側をいうものとする。

紙おむつ本体１０は、人体との接触面側に設けられる透液性の不織布等からなるトップシート１１と、装着時に外部側に設けられる不透液性の不織布等からなるバックシート１２と、トップシート１１とバックシート１２との間に介装される吸収体１３と、トップシート１１側の吸収体１３の両側部に、紙おむつ本体１０の長手方向に沿って備えられる不織布等からなるギャザーシート１４、１４と、を備えている。
そして、紙おむつ１を装着した時、紙おむつ本体１０により、人体の股部を腹側から背側にかけて覆うように、一方の端部に腹側部１５が形成され、他方の端部に背側部１６が形成されているとともに、腹側部１５と背側部１６との間に股下部１７が形成されている。股下部１７の両縁部は、装着された際に着用者の脚の周りを囲む脚周り部１８、１８となっている。

また、紙おむつ本体１０の腹側部１５の端部１５１と、背側部１６の端部１６１とは、紙おむつ１が人体に装着された際に、胴周りを形成するようになっている。

（トップシート１１、バックシート１２、ギャザーシート１３、サイドフラップ２０の材質）
紙おむつ本体１０を構成するトップシート１１やバックシート１２、ギャザーシート１４、１４等を形成する不織布の素材としてとしては、天然繊維、合成繊維のいずれを用いてもよい。天然繊維の例としては、綿、セルロース（木材パルプ）、羊毛、絹等が挙げられる。また合成繊維としては、ポリプロピレン（PP）、ポリエチレン（PE）、ナイロン、ポリエステル（PET）、アクリル等が挙げられ、またPE/PP混合不織布、PE/PET混合不織布、また、上記素材を適宜組み合わせたバイコンポーネント繊維（混合繊維）も用いることができる。

また、これらの繊維性素材から不織布を製造する方法としては、公知の方法を適宜用いることができ、例えば、ケミカルボンド、サーマルボンド、スパンレース等のいずれの方法を用いてもよく、また合成繊維等では、スパンボンド法、メルトブロー法、またこれらと上記の接着方法の組み合わせ等、いずれの方法を用いて製造してもよい。

なお、バックシート１２やギャザーシート１４は不透液性とするため、特に、疎水性または撥水性の高い素材で製造することが望ましく、また、その不織布には疎水性または撥水性を高くする加工が施されている。

また、より外部側へ水様成分が漏出しにくいように、吸収体１３とバックシート１２の間には、防水フィルム（図示省略）を設けてもよい。

（脚周りギャザーの構造）
バックシート１２の幅方向両端部には、腹側部１５から股下部１７を通って背側部１６にかけて弾性部材としての第１の糸状弾性部材が４０、４０、４０が３本並列して配設されている。
かかる第１の糸状弾性部材４０は、バックシート１２の幅方向両端部が折り返された折り返し部１２ａに、当該折り返し部１２ａのバックシート１２に挟まれた状態で、例えば、ホットメルトや、ヒートシール、超音波シール等により固着されている。

また、第１の糸状弾性部材４０よりも内側、即ち、吸収体１３側に、バックシート１２とギャザーシート１４との間に、第２の弾性部材としての第２の糸状弾性部材４１が、例えば、ホットメルトや、ヒートシール、超音波シール等により固着されて配設されている。

また、図２に示すように、トップシート１１の幅方向端部１１１の位置が、バックシート１２の幅方向端部１２１よりも内側となっており、また、ギャザーシート１４の幅方向端部１４１の位置も、バックシート１２の幅方向端部１２１よりも内側となっている。
そして、当該紙おむつ着用時に、この第１の糸状弾性部材４０と第２の糸状弾性部材４１が配設された股下部１７の幅方向端部により脚周りギャザーＣが形成されるようになっている。

（吸収体の材質及び構造）
吸収体１３は、紙おむつ１の使用時に体液としての尿等の水様成分を吸収するものであり、綿やパルプ等の吸収性素材や、繊維或いはフィルム等のシート状基材と高吸水性樹脂とが組み合わされて形成された吸収体コア（図示省略）が、透液性のクレープ紙（図示省略）により覆われて構成されている。

（ギャザーシートの構造）
ギャザーシート１４，１４は、紙おむつ１におけるトップシート１１側において、紙おむつ本体１０の腹側端部１５１から背側端部１６１にわたり、股下部１７の両端に相当する位置に備えられている。

このギャザーシート１４，１４は、不透液性の不織布のシートを二つ折りにし、折り合わされた面を、例えば、ホットメルトや、ヒートシール、超音波シール等により固着させることにより形成されている。
この不織布シートを二つ折りにした折り返し部分側の端部を自由端部（図示省略）、紙おむつ本体側に固定される端部を固定端部（図示省略）とする。その固定端部（図示省略）が、トップシート１１と、バックシート１２との間に挟まれるように固着されることにより、ギャザーシート１４、１４が紙おむつ本体１０側に固定されている。そして、その不織布が折り合わされた面間に、１本又は数本の糸ゴム４３が挟み込まれて固着されて備えられている。

このギャザーシート１４、１４が紙おむつ１に固着されて備えられた状態において、自由端部（図示省略）が起立することにより、立体ギャザーＢが形成される。そして、この糸ゴム４３によりギャザーシート１４、１４は、着用者の体型に合わせて伸縮自在に変形し、着用者にフィットしやすい構造となっている。

（平面ギャザーの構造）
また、背側部１６の長手方向の縁部１６２の中央部には、糸状或いは帯状のゴム４４が幅方向に沿って設けられ、この弾性部材により平面ギャザーＤが形成され、着用者の胴周りにフィットするように伸縮自在な構成となっている。

（サイドフラップ、ターゲット部の構造）
サイドフラップ２０…は、例えば、不織布等で形成されており、紙おむつ本体１０の背側部１６の両側縁部１０ａ、１０ａの左右側方に突出するように設けられた背側サイドフラップ２０ａ、２０ａと、腹側部１５の両側縁部１０ｂ、１０ｂの左右側方に突出するように設けられた腹側サイドフラップ２０ｂ、２０ｂと、により構成され、各々トップシート１１とバックシート１２に挟まれた状態で、例えば、ホットメルトや、ヒートシール、超音波シール等により固着されて設けられている。

背側サイドフラップ２０ａ、２０ａと腹側サイドフラップ２０ｂ、２０ｂは、異なる色に配色されている。これにより、腹側（前側）と背側（後側）の識別が容易にできるようになっている。
また、サイドフラップ２０、２０の両外縁部には、面ファスナの雄部材であるファスニング部材としてのファスニングテープ２１、２１が取り付けられている。

そして、このファスニングテープ２１、２１が、腹側部１５のバックシート１２上に備えられている面ファスナの雌部材からなるターゲット部３０に係止するようになっている。

ターゲット部３０は、面ファスナの他方の係止要素である雌部材等からなり、腹側部１５のバックシート１２上に固着されている。

（紙おむつ１の着用動作）
上記のように構成された紙おむつ１を人体に装着する場合、まず、紙おむつ本体１０の股下部１７を人体の股間に当て、腹側部１５及び背側部１６をそれぞれ人体の腹部及び背部に位置させた状態でサイドフラップ２０を背側から腹側に回して、ファスニングテープ２１をターゲット部３０に止着させる。

以上説明した、第１の実施の形態による紙おむつ１によれば、バックシート１２の幅方向両端部１２１に腹側部１５から股下部１７を通って背側部１６にかけて第１の糸状弾性部材４０が配設され、トップシート１１及びギャザーシート１４の幅方向端部１１１、１４１の位置が、バックシート１２の幅方向端部１２１が内側なので、従来の吸収性物品のように、第１の糸状弾性部材４０よりも図９に示す外側フラップ部３２１が形成されない。従って、バックシート１２と第１の糸状弾性部材４０とで形成される脚周り部分や股間部分の端部がすっきりした形状になるので、下着のように見え、外観品質が向上する。

また、外側フラップ部３２１（図９）が形成されないので、その部分の材料が少なくなることとなっって、材料コストを削減できる。
また、特に、第１の糸状弾性部材４０は、バックシート１２の幅方向両端部１２１が折り返された折り返し部１２ａに、当該折り返し部１２ａのバックシート１２に挟まれた状態で配設されているので、第１の糸状弾性部材４０を確実にバックシート１２の幅方向両端部１２１に配設することができる。

さらに、脚周りギャザーＣに第１の糸状弾性部材４０…に加えて、第２の糸状弾性部材４１が設けられているので、脚周り開口部１８からの漏れをさらに防止することができるとともに、脚周りのフィット性をさらに向上させることができる。

尚、上記の実施の形態は、本発明を例示したに過ぎず、適宜変更可能である。例えば、第１の糸状弾性部材４０は、上記実施の形態では、３本設けた構成としたが、１本でもよく、また、２本以上何本設けても良い。
また、第１の糸状弾性部材４０は、バックシート１２の折り返し部１２ａに設ける構成としたが、バックシート１２のどちらかの面に直接固着する構成であってもよい。
さらに、第１の糸状弾性部材３０は、紙おむつ１０の長手方向全域に設けられていてもよいが、少なくとも股下部１７全域に設けられていればよい。

サイドフラップ２０は、不織布の他、弾性部材、フィルム等から形成されていてもよい。また、サイドフラップ２０は、必ずしもトップシート１１及びバックシート１２と別体である必要はなく、トップシート１１或いはバックシート１２の一部をさらに背側部の側方に延出させて形成してもよい。
ファスニングテープ２１は、面ファスナの雄部材等の他、例えば、粘着テープ等であり、ターゲット部３０は粘着テープが着脱自在なフィルム等を備えている構造であってもよい。

［第２の実施の形態］
図４は、第２の実施の形態における使い捨て紙おむつを、トップシートを上面にして展開した平面展開図である。また、図５は、図４の使い捨て紙おむつの装着時の状態に組立てた斜視図である。
なお、第２の実施形態の使い捨て紙おむつを説明するに当たり、第１の実施の形態の使い捨て紙おむつと同一の構成については、同一の符号を付し、詳細な説明を省略する。

図４、５に示すように、第２の実施の形態にかかる使い捨て紙おむつ（以下、紙おむつという。）１００は、いわゆるパンツ型の紙おむつであって、紙おむつ本体１０と、この紙おむつ本体１０の背側両側端部１０ａ、１０ａと腹側両側端部１０ｂ、１０ｂから突出して設けられた幅方向に伸縮自在のサイドパネル１１０とを備えている。

（サイドパネルの構造）
サイドパネル１１０は、例えば、例えば、ポリスチレン、ポリイソプレン又はポリブダジエンのブロック共重合体、エチレンの共重合体、天然ゴム、ウレタン及び、これらの混合／コエクストルージョン等の単一層の織布、不織弾性材料又は伸縮性材料により形成されたもの、又は伸縮性材料のフィルム、あるいは伸縮性材料の複合体などを用いることができる。
サイドパネル１１０のうち、背側両端部１０ａ、１０ａから突出する背側サイドパネル１１０１、１１０１と、腹側両側端部１０ｂ、１０ｂから突出する腹側サイドパネル１１０２、１１０２とは、異なる色に配色され、腹側（前側）と背側（後側）の識別が容易にできるようになっている。
そして、背側サイドパネル１１０１及び腹側サイドパネル１１０２の一方の側端部１１０１ａ、１１０２ａ同士及び他方の側端部１１０１ｂ、１１０２ｂ同士が長手方向に沿ってホットメルトや、ヒートシール、超音波シールなどにより接合されることにより、図５に示すようなパンツ型の紙おむつ１００に組み立てられる。

パンツ型に組み立てられた紙おむつ１００は、紙おむつ本体１０の背側部１６、腹側部１５、及びサイドパネル１１０により胴周り部１２０が形成され、その上端に、胴周り開口部１３０が形成される。また、紙おむつ本体１０の股下部１７の側端部により脚周り開口部１４０が形成されている。

（脚周りギャザーの構造）
バックシート１１の幅方向両端部１１１には、腹側部１５から股下部１７を通って背側部１６にかけて弾性部材としての第１の糸状弾性部材４０、４０、４０が３本並列して配設されている。
かかる第１の糸状弾性部材４０、４０、４０は、バックシート１２の幅方向両端部１２１が折り返された折り返し部１２ａに、当該折り返し部１２ａのバックシート１２に挟まれた状態で、例えば、ホットメルトや、ヒートシール、超音波シール等により固着されている。

また、第１の糸状弾性部材４０よりも内側、即ち、吸収体１３側に、バックシート１２とギャザーシート１４との間に、第２の弾性部材としての第２の糸状弾性部材４１が、例えば、ホットメルトや、ヒートシール、超音波シール等により固着されて配設されている。
また、トップシート１１の幅方向端部１１１の位置が、バックシート１２の幅方向端部１２１よりも内側となっており、また、ギャザーシート１４の幅方向端部１４１の位置も、バックシート１２の幅方向端部１２１よりも内側となっている。
そして、当該紙おむつ１００着用時に、この第１の糸状弾性部材４０と第２の糸状弾性部材４１が配設された股下部１７の幅方向端部１７１により脚周りギャザーＣが形成されるようになっている。

（平面ギャザーの構造）
また、腹側部１５及び背側部１６の長手方向の縁部１５２、１６２の中央部には、糸状或いは帯状のゴム４４が幅方向に沿って設けられ、この弾性部材により平面ギャザーＤが形成され、着用者の胴周りにフィットするように伸縮自在な構成となっている。

（紙おむつ１００の着用動作）
上記のように構成された紙おむつ１００を人体に装着する場合、まず、紙おむつ１００の胴周り開口部１３０を手で広げて、脚を胴周り開口部１３０から脚周り開口部１４０に通す。このとき、脚周りギャザーＣに、従来のような外側フラップ３２１（図９）が形成されないので、脚周り開口部１４０に脚を通すことが容易である。
次いで、紙おむつ１００を腰部まで引き上げて、股下部１７を人体の股間に当て、腹側部１５及び背側部１６をそれぞれ人体の腹部及び背部に位置させた状態で手を離すことにより胴周り開口部１３０が収縮して人体の胴周りにフィットして装着される。

以上説明した第２の実施の形態に係る紙おむつ１００によれば、第１の実施の形態の紙おむつ１と同様の効果が得られる。
加えて、紙おむつ１００を装着する際、脚周り開口部１３０に脚を通しやすいので、従来のパンツ型の紙おむつ１００に比べて履きやすい。
また、バックシート１２の幅方向両端部１２１の折り返し部１２ａが外側に出るので、この折り返し部１２ａを人体装着時に把持部として利用することができることとなって、履きやすさがさらに向上する。

［第３の実施の形態］
