Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic control device for a vehicle, and for example, relates to an electronic control device for an internal combustion engine mounted in a place having a poor thermal environment in an engine room of the vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, an electronic control unit for controlling an internal combustion engine of a vehicle has been mounted in, for example, a vehicle interior console box or a trunk room as a relatively good thermal environment. Thus, when the internal combustion engine electronic control device is moved away from the engine room where the internal combustion engine is disposed, the wire harness connecting the electronic control device becomes long. Also, the battery power source is often arranged in the engine room, and the electronic control unit for vehicle control is not limited to the electronic control unit for the internal combustion engine. It can be said that it is preferable to be mounted.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, as a thermal element to be considered in the electronic control device, in addition to the external heat received from the atmosphere in the engine room, depending on the electrical components mounted on the board in the interior, heat is generated according to the energizing operation. There is something. In addition, since the amount of heat generated varies depending on the electrical component, the substrate has a high temperature portion and a low temperature portion. Here, the microcomputer mounted on the substrate is more susceptible to thermal influence than other electrical components, and it is assumed that the operation may become unstable unless overheating is prevented.
[0004]
Therefore, the present invention has been made to eliminate the predictability of such troubles, and accurately detects the thermal influence on the microcomputer from the electrical components with heat generation mounted on the board in the electronic control unit. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an electronic control device for a vehicle that can perform appropriate cooling or the like to prevent overheating.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the vehicle electronic control device of the first aspect, a microcomputer, an electrical component, and the like are mounted on the board surface, and heat is transferred from the electrical component that generates heat in response to the energization operation by the on-vehicle battery power supply to the microcomputer. In the vicinity of the microcomputer in the path, a temperature detection element for detecting a thermal influence from the electric component on the microcomputer is mounted. For this reason, it is possible to accurately know the adverse thermal effects of the electrical components on the microcomputer from the temperature detected by the temperature detection element.
[0006]
In the vehicle electronic control device according to the second aspect, the heat generation from the power supply transistor of the power supply circuit and the output driver of the output circuit in response to the energization operation by the supply of the battery power supply as an electrical component is considerable. For this reason, the unstable operation of the microcomputer can be eliminated by considering the heat transfer path from the power transistor or output driver to the microcomputer.
[0007]
In the vehicle electronic control device according to the third aspect, the heat generation from the power supply transistor of the power supply circuit and the output driver of the output circuit in response to the energization operation by the supply of the battery power supply as an electrical component is considerable. For this reason, the power supply transistor and the output driver are mounted adjacent to the heat dissipating member fixed on the substrate surface in order to help the heat dissipation, so that the heat can be efficiently dissipated.
[0008]
In the vehicle electronic control device according to the fourth aspect, since the microcomputer disposed on the board is more susceptible to thermal influence than other electrical components, when the temperature detecting element detects that the temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature. Cooling control for itself is executed. As a result, the microcomputer is prevented from overheating, and can always operate stably even if the thermal environment changes.
[0009]
In the vehicle electronic control device according to the fifth aspect, since the microcomputer disposed on the board is more susceptible to thermal influence than other electrical components, when the temperature detecting element detects that the temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature. The writing process to the rewritable nonvolatile read-only memory in the microcomputer is prohibited. As described above, since the operation of the microcomputer becomes unstable when the thermal environment is bad, abnormal writing processing to the memory is prohibited, and malfunction of the program due to failure of the writing processing is prevented.
[0010]
In the electronic control device for a vehicle according to the sixth aspect, it is mounted in the engine room of the vehicle, and it is possible to accurately know the thermal adverse effect on the microcomputer having a poor thermal environment.
