Description
(実施例1)
核磁気共鳴分析(NMR)装置は、静磁場の下に試料を配置して電磁波を照射し、それによって生じる試料中の原子核からの自由減衰信号を観測および解析し、試料の物質の構造解析を行う装置である。近年、蛋白質などの有機高分子への応用が期待されている。
(実施例2)
実施例1で説明した冷却装置および、低温プローブの冷却機構は、冷媒の配管については特に言及してはいない。配管の断面形状を工夫することで、更なる冷却効率の向上および安定性の向上することができる。
Claims (7)
- 送信コイル及び受信コイルまたは送受信コイルを有し、NMR装置に用いる低温プローブであって、
コンプレッサーからの室温の冷媒を一方側で70K以下に冷却する対向熱交換器と、第1の冷却ステージが30K以下、第2の冷却ステージが4K以下に冷却可能な2つの冷却ステージを持つ冷凍機を少なくとも2台直列接続して前記対向熱交換器からの冷媒を冷却する冷却装置と、前記冷却装置からの冷媒と前記受信コイルまたは前記送受信コイルとの熱交換を行う第1の熱交換部を有するプローブ部と、前記プローブ部からの冷媒を前記対向熱交換器の他方側に流入して循環構成とし、
かつ、前記プローブ部に、前記第1の熱交換部からの冷媒と前記受信コイルまたは前記送受信コイルを内包する遮蔽シールドとの熱交換を行う第2の熱交換部を設け、前記第2の熱交換部からの冷媒を前記対向熱交換器の他方側に流入することを特徴とするNMR用低温プローブ。 - 請求項1において、前記対向熱交換器と前記冷却装置が真空槽に配置され、前記第1の熱交換部及び前記第2の熱交換部との往路及び復路を一対の冷媒輸送路で結ぶことを特徴とするNMR用低温プローブ。
- 請求項1または2において、前記コンプレッサーの出口と前記対向熱交換器の入口との間に前記循環構成を流れる冷媒よりも多い容量をもつバッファタンクを設けることを特徴とするNMR用低温プローブ。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかにおいて、前記コンプレッサーと前記対向熱交換器との間の配管と、前記第1の冷却ステージの前後の配管と、前記第2の冷却ステージ間及び該冷却ステージ後の配管は、後段になるほど配管径を細くしたことを特徴とするNMR用低温プローブ。
- 請求項1において、前記循環構成を流れる冷媒の流量は毎秒0.05〜0.5gとすることを特徴とするNMR用低温プローブ。
- 請求項1において、前記循環構成を流れる冷媒の圧力は0.25〜0.5MPaとすることを特徴とするNMR用低温プローブ。
- スプリット型超伝導コイルと、そのスプリットにNMR用プローブを挿入する核磁気共鳴分析装置において、
前記NMR用プローブに請求項1−6のいずれかに記載のNMR用低温プローブを用いることを特徴とする核磁気共鳴分析装置。
