Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an attachment structure for a faucet, and more particularly to an attachment structure for attaching a water discharge pipe or a faucet body to an attachment base such as a counter via a pedestal formed separately.
[0002]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been known a faucet mounting structure in which a water discharge pipe or a faucet body is mounted on a mounting base such as a counter in a sitting state via a base.
By the way, as a kind of faucet, an operation rod for remotely operating a drain plug provided in the lower part of a water tank such as a wash basin or a bathtub, and a cylindrical shape through which the operation rod is movably inserted to form an operation guide A water faucet equipped with a rod guide is used.
[0003]
For example, Patent Literature 1 and Patent Literature 2 below disclose a faucet provided with such an operating rod in a form that penetrates the faucet body.
Conventionally, a water discharge pipe or a faucet body (specifically, its shell) is formed of a metal casting (casting). In this case, the water discharge pipe or the faucet body (hereinafter referred to as a water discharge pipe) is a pedestal. And the rod guide can be formed integrally.
[0004]
However, casting water discharge pipes inevitably have a high price, and it has been considered that the water discharge pipes are formed by processing bar materials or pipe materials.
In this way, the water discharge pipe can be manufactured at low cost.
[0005]
However, when the water discharge pipe is constructed by processing a bar or pipe material, the pedestal must normally be configured separately from the water discharge pipe. In such a case, the water discharge pipe is countered via the pedestal. When mounted on an equally mounted base in a seated state, the water discharge pipe can rotate relative to the pedestal, which causes a problem that the fixing strength in the rotation direction of the water discharge pipe is weakened.
Although the case of the water discharge pipe has been described above, a common problem occurs when the faucet body is similarly formed by processing a bar or pipe material.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
The faucet mounting structure of the present invention has been devised to solve such problems.
Thus, in the first aspect of the invention, a pedestal is seated on the upper surface of the mounting base such as a counter, and a water discharge pipe or a faucet body that is configured separately from the pedestal is attached to the mounting base through the pedestal. In the water faucet mounting structure, a cylindrical rod guide that forms an operation guide by movably inserting an operation rod for remote control of the drain plug is provided in a state of projecting on the pedestal, and the rod guide An upper portion of the pedestal that protrudes upward from the pedestal is positioned adjacent to the water discharge pipe or faucet body, and is used for partially fitting either the water discharge pipe or the faucet body and the upper portion of the rod guide. A concave portion is formed on the other side, and a convex portion is formed on the other side, and they are partially fitted in the direction of rotation of the water discharge pipe or faucet body.
[0008]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect, the rod guide is configured separately from the base and the water discharge pipe or the faucet body.
[0009]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in any one of the first and second aspects, the outer peripheral surface of each of the water discharge pipe or faucet body and the upper portion of the rod guide is circular, and the concave portion is one circumferential surface. Is formed in a partially recessed form, and a part of the other circumferential surface is partially fitted into the concave portion as the convex portion.
[0010]
[Operation and effect of the invention]
As described above, the present invention provides a cylindrical rod guide for operating and guiding an operation rod for remote control of a drain plug in a state of protruding on a pedestal, and an upper portion of the protruding rod guide is disposed on a water discharge pipe or water. It is located adjacent to the stopper body, and a recess for partial fitting is formed on either the water discharge pipe or the water stopper body and the upper portion of the rod guide, and a protrusion is formed on the other side, and these are connected to the water discharge pipe. Alternatively, the water faucet body is partially fitted in the rotation direction. According to the present invention, the water discharge pipe or the water faucet body can be restricted from rotating with respect to the pedestal based on the partial fitting.
[0011]
Thereby, even when a force in the rotational direction is applied to the water discharge pipe or the faucet body, the problem that the water discharge pipe or the water faucet body rotates relative to the mounting base such as a counter can be solved. .
Further, according to the present invention, the water discharge pipe or the faucet body can be configured by processing a bar or a pipe material, so that the water discharge pipe or the faucet body can be configured at low cost.
[0012]
The present invention also provides the following effects.
That is, since the rod guide is usually arranged at the rear part of the water discharge pipe or faucet body, the position of the water discharge pipe or water faucet body in the rotation direction is automatically set by partially fitting the concave portion and the convex portion. These water discharge pipes or faucet bodies can be installed and constructed at predetermined correct rotational direction positions.
[0013]
In the present invention, the rod guide can also be configured separately from the pedestal and the water discharge pipe or the faucet body (Claim 2).
In this way, since the water discharge pipe or faucet body, pedestal, and rod guide can be manufactured independently, the processing of each part can be rationalized and the cost can be reduced. Further, the water discharge pipe or faucet body, pedestal, rod Effects such as expanding the degree of freedom of design selection for each guide.
[0014]
In the present invention, the outer peripheral surface of each of the water discharge pipe or faucet body and the upper portion of the rod guide is circular, and one of the circumferential surfaces is partially recessed to form a recess, and the other circumferential surface Can be made to partially fit into the concave portion (claim 3).
Furthermore, in this case, the inner peripheral surface of the concave portion can be an arc surface having the same curvature as the convex portion formed of a part of the other circumferential surface, and in this case, the concave portion and the convex portion are covered over the entire surface. Thus, it is possible to fit in a substantially contacted state over a wide area, and the advantage that the rotation restricting force can be increased can be obtained.
[0015]
【Example】
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
1 and 2, reference numeral 10 denotes a two-handle water faucet (mixed water faucet) of this example, and 12 denotes an attachment base for attaching the water faucet 10.
[0016]
Reference numerals 14 and 16 denote a water side valve portion and a hot water side valve portion, respectively, which are fixedly attached to the mounting base 12 in mounting holes 18 and 20 formed in the mounting base 12, respectively.
Here, at the upper part of the water side valve part 14 and the upper part of the hot water side valve part 16, a rotary operation type water side handle 22 and a hot water side handle 24 are provided on the mounting base 12, respectively.
[0017]
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 26 denotes a water discharge pipe provided in a state of standing from the mounting base 12 at a position between the water side valve portion 14 and the hot water side valve portion 16, and has a water discharge port 28 at the tip.
[0018]
The water discharge pipe 26 is connected to the water side valve part 14 and the hot water side valve part 16 by a joint pipe 30 and a communication pipe 32 on the lower side (back side) of the mounting base 12. Water and hot water from the side valve portion 16 flow into the water discharge pipe 26 and are discharged from the water discharge port 28 as mixed water.
[0019]
In this example, the water discharge pipe 26 is formed by processing a bar material or a pipe material, and the outer peripheral surface has a circular shape with the same thickness from the base end to the tip end.
[0020]
The attachment structure of the water discharge pipe 26 is specifically shown in FIGS.
In these drawings, 34 is a circular pedestal formed separately from the water discharge pipe 26, and the water discharge pipe 26 is attached to the mounting base 12 in the mounting hole 36 in a state of being seated on the mounting base 12 via the base 34. The mounting is fixed.
[0021]
More specifically, a male screw pipe 38 that also serves as a water passage portion protrudes downward from the lower surface of the water discharge pipe 26, and this male screw pipe 38 is arranged on the insertion hole 40, the mounting hole 36 of the base 34, and further on the back surface of the mounting base 12. The plate-like holding tool 42 is inserted through the insertion hole 44 and protrudes to the lower side of the mounting base 12, and a fixing nut 46 is screwed therein.
Then, by the screwing of the fixing nut 46, the water discharge pipe 26 is attached and fixed to the mounting base 12 so that the base 34 and the holding tool 42 sandwich the mounting base 12 from both the front and back sides via the packings 48 and 50.
[0022]
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the faucet 10 of this example includes an operation rod 52 for remotely operating a pop-up drain plug at the bottom of the water tank, and the operation rod 52 corresponds to the mounting base 12. The mounting hole 36 is extended to the upper side of the mounting base 12.
A knob 54 bent in an L shape is provided at the upper end of the operating rod 52.
[0023]
56 is a cylindrical shape, and the operation rod 52 is movably inserted through the inside thereof, and a rod guide that serves as a guide when operating the operation rod 52. This rod guide 56 also penetrates the mounting hole 36, An upper portion 58 having a large diameter protrudes on the base 34.
[0024]
As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the rod guide 56 has a male screw 60 at a lower portion of the large-diameter upper portion 58, and the male screw 60 is located above the female screw hole 62 penetrating the base 34. The rod guide 56 is fixed to the pedestal 34 by being screwed downward.
[0025]
Here, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the large-diameter upper portion 58 of the rod guide 56 is disposed at the rear portion adjacent to the water discharge pipe 26 on the base 34.
[0026]
A concave portion 64 having a partially recessed shape is formed on the rear surface of the water discharge pipe 26, and an upper portion 58 of a rod guide 56 having a circular outer peripheral surface is fitted therein.
That is, a part of the circumferential surface of the upper portion 58 constitutes a convex portion 66, and the convex portion 66 is fitted into the concave portion 64 as clearly shown in the partial enlarged view of FIG. .
[0027]
The concave portion 64 is an arc-shaped surface whose inner peripheral surface is curved with the same curvature as the circumferential surface of the upper portion 58, and the concave portion 64 is part of the circumferential surface of the upper portion 58 over the entire inner peripheral surface. That is, it fits in the state which contacted the convex part 66 substantially substantially.
[0028]
According to this example as described above, the water discharge pipe 26 can be restricted from rotating with respect to the pedestal 34 based on the partial fitting of the concave portion 64 and the convex portion 66.
Thereby, even when a force in the rotational direction is applied to the water discharge pipe 26, the problem that the water discharge pipe 26 rotates and moves relative to the mounting base 12 can be solved.
[0029]
Moreover, according to this example, since the water discharge pipe 26 can be comprised by process, such as a bar material or a pipe material, this water discharge pipe 26 can be comprised cheaply.
[0030]
Furthermore, according to this example, the position of the water discharge pipe 26 in the rotation direction can be automatically determined by partially fitting the concave portion 64 and the convex portion 66, and the water discharge pipe 26 is set in advance when the faucet 10 is installed. It can be installed and installed at the correct position in the specified rotational direction.
[0031]
Moreover, according to this example, the water discharge pipe 26, the pedestal 34, and the rod guide 56 can be independently manufactured, and the parts processing can be rationalized and the cost can be reduced, and each of the water discharge pipe 26, the pedestal 34, and the rod guide 56 can be achieved. The effect of expanding the degree of freedom of design selection is also obtained.
[0032]
Furthermore, in this example, since the concave portion 64 and the convex portion 66 are fitted in a substantially contact state and over a wide area over the entire circumference, the rotation regulating force can be increased.
[0033]
Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above, this is merely an example.
For example, the present invention can be applied to the case where a faucet body incorporating a main valve that performs water discharge, water stoppage, and water amount adjustment from a water discharge port is fixed to a mounting base in a non-rotating state. The present invention can be configured in various forms without departing from the spirit.
