BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a tread pattern having a plurality of blocks each having a plurality of sipes, a mold for the pneumatic tire, and a method for molding the pneumatic tire.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, for the purpose of improving the ice performance of a studless tire, a tire pattern in which sipes are arranged in each part (center part, mediate part, shoulder part) is known.
[0003]
Such a sipe is formed by vulcanization molding using a tire mold provided with a sipe blade. At that time, it is necessary to provide a vent spew in order to discharge the air confined between the sipe blades to the outside. However, if vent spewes are provided for each block section partitioned by sipe blades, the number of vent spews increases, leading to deterioration of tire appearance, ice / snow road performance, noise performance, etc. when new.
[0004]
For this reason, in order to discharge the air confined between the sipe blades, it is known to provide an air vent hole in the sipe blade (see

JP 2002-316517 A ([0016], [0017]).
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the sipe blade described in
[0008]
On the other hand, according to the shape of the air vent hole described in
[0009]
Further, in the conventional example in which the shape of the air vent hole is a rhombus or spindle shape and the rubber piece is sandwiched and cut, the cut rubber piece may fall off the tire. Thereby, the fallen rubber piece may be mixed in as a foreign substance and cause a problem. In particular, the air vent hole is provided in the vicinity of the tread surface in order to reliably discharge the air confined in the sipe blade, so that the rubber pieces that fall off are easily mixed into the mold, which adversely affects the subsequent vulcanization molding. give.
[0010]
On the other hand, the tapered round hole described in
[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to suppress the falling off of the rubber piece when extracting the sipe blade from the tread, to facilitate the process of providing an air vent hole, and to cut the cutting performance with use. An object of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire having a sipe formed by a sipe blade that is less likely to decrease, a molding die for the pneumatic tire, and a method for molding the pneumatic tire.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The above object can be achieved by the present invention as described below.
That is, the pneumatic tire of the present invention is a pneumatic tire provided with a tread pattern having a plurality of blocks each having a plurality of sipes,
Projections are formed on at least one side of the groove wall surface of the sipe,
The shape of the protrusion is a cylindrical shape with a constant diameter from the tip of the protrusion to a position approximately half the length of the protrusion at the longest, and the diameter gradually increases from the middle toward the groove wall surface with the protrusion. It is a shape.
[0013]
In the above, it is preferable that the taper angle of a taper shape is 45-90 degrees.
[0014]
A pneumatic tire mold according to the present invention is a pneumatic tire mold having a tread pattern having a plurality of blocks each having a plurality of sipes, and a sipe blade having a thickness of 0.8 mm or more for forming the sipe. The sipe blade is provided with an air vent hole, and the shape of the air vent hole is a columnar shape having a constant diameter from the end portion thereof to a position approximately half the depth of the air vent hole at the longest. The taper shape has a diameter that gradually increases from the middle toward the end opposite to the end.
[0015]
In the above, it is preferable that the taper angle of a taper shape is 45-90 degrees.
[0016]
The pneumatic tire molding method of the present invention is a pneumatic tire molding method including a tread pattern having a plurality of blocks each having a plurality of sipes.
Using the mold of the pneumatic tire according to
A process of vulcanization molding;
And a step of extracting the sipe blade from the tread while cutting a rubber piece in the cylindrical portion of the air vent hole.
[0017]
[Function and effect]
According to the present invention, at the time of vulcanization molding, the air enclosed between the sipe blades is discharged to the outside through the vent spew through the air vent hole. As a result, there is no need to provide a vent spew for each block section partitioned by sipe blades, and the number of vent spews can be reduced.
[0018]
In addition, when the sipe blade is extracted from the tread after vulcanization molding, the rubber piece in the air vent hole is cut at a cylindrical portion having a diameter smaller than that of the tapered portion, and is not cut at the tapered portion. It becomes a state connected to the groove wall surface. As a result, the falling off of the rubber piece can be suppressed, and the rubber piece can be prevented from entering the mold or sipe as a foreign substance.
[0019]
Further, the shape of the air vent hole according to the present invention is less affected by the deterioration of the cutting performance due to the wear of the edge because the edge is gentler than when the blade portion is provided or the shape of the taper alone. .
[0020]
Further, the shape of the air vent hole of the present invention can be easily processed with respect to a thin plate such as a sipe blade as compared with the shapes described in

[Table 1]
As shown in the results of Table 1, in the examples, the protrusions were suitably formed by cutting at the time of demolding, and the drop-off property of the protrusions was better than any of the comparative examples. Moreover, since the number of bent spews can be suppressed, the tire appearance is also better than that of Comparative Example 1.
[0051]
On the other hand, in Comparative Example 2, since the rubber piece was sandwiched and cut, the protrusion was easy to drop off. In Comparative Example 3, the workability of the air vent hole was poor and the durability was also poor. The same applies to Comparative Example 4 having a tapered shape.
[0052]
From the above, it can be seen that, in the example, the items that decrease in Comparative Examples 2, 3, and 4 can be covered and the merit can be extracted.
