BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, a front frame is provided in front of a dash lower panel that partitions an engine room and a vehicle compartment, and a suspension cross member that supports a front suspension is provided below the front frame.,So-called,The present invention relates to a front body structure of a vehicle in which a subframe is provided.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, for example, there are the following structures as a front body structure of a vehicle.
That is, the floor panel is continuously provided rearward from the lower end of the dash lower panel that partitions the engine room and the vehicle compartment, and includes a pair of left and right floor frames that extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle along the floor panel. At the front edge of the floor frame,A pair of left and right front side frames are provided via kick-up portions, and subframes (agreeing with the suspension cross member) that support the front suspension are attached below the rear portions of the pair of left and right front side frames (for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-179181.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
This conventional structure has the following problems.
That is, it is desirable that the floor panel is present at a position as low as possible in view of the passenger's ability to get on and off the vehicle, while the above-mentioned front side frame is positioned at a predetermined height in order to absorb the load at the time of the vehicle collision. Therefore, the upper and lower steps (the up-down offset amount of the kick-up) of the kick-up portion described above increase.
[0005]
in this way,In order to prevent this, if the kick-up part has a large vertical difference, the kick-up part will fold into a substantially Z shape when a collision load is input.,A reinforcement structure for the kick-up portion is required, and this reinforcement structure has a problem of increasing the weight of the vehicle body.
[0006]
Also,In the conventional structure described above, the front end of the subframe is,Since the vehicle is located behind the front end of the front side frame in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, the collision load is substantially received by one front side frame on the right side and one on the left side. It is necessary to ensure sufficient strength, which causes a problem that the weight of the front side frame itself is increased.
[0007]
further,Since the collision load is received by one front side frame on one side, it is difficult to shorten the length of the front side frame in the vehicle front-rear direction in order to ensure the collision resistance, and as a result, the front overhang is shortened. However, there is a problem that the degree of freedom in vehicle design is reduced.
[0008]
In addition, there is a problem that it is difficult to ensure sufficient suspension cross rigidity and suspension support rigidity because the length in the front-rear direction of the subframe is as short as possible.
[0009]
Therefore, the present invention extends the suspension cross member to the front part of the power train in the engine room and connects the extended tip to the front frame, so that the collision load is also applied to the suspension cross member in addition to the front frame. The front overhang can be shortened while achieving both the collision performance and weight reduction, and the suspension cross member connection structure to the front frame improves suspension cross rigidity and suspension support rigidity. An object of the present invention is to provide a front body structure of a vehicle that can improve steering stability.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the vehicle body structure according to the present invention, a dash panel that partitions the engine room and the vehicle compartment is provided, a front frame is provided in front of the dash panel, and a suspension for suspending front wheels is provided below the front frame. A vehicle front body structure provided with a supporting suspension cross member, wherein the suspension cross member extends to a front portion of a power train in an engine room, andOf the suspension cross memberThe extended tip is connected to the front frame. In addition, an impact absorbing member is disposed at the front portion of the front frame, and another impact absorbing member is disposed at the front portion of the suspension cross member. The other impact absorbing member is disposed at the front end of the front frame. It was arranged to be located in front ofIs.
[0011]
According to the above configuration, the suspension cross member is extended to the front portion of the power train in the engine room, andOf the suspension cross memberSince the extended tip is connected to the front frame, the suspension cross member can receive a collision load in addition to the front frame.
[0012]
As a result, both the front frame and the suspension cross member (upper and lower members) can improve the proof stress, and the cross section can be reduced in size, so that both the collision performance and the weight reduction can be achieved. In addition, since the impact resistance is improved, the front overhang can be shortened, and the degree of freedom in vehicle design is improved.
[0013]
In addition, since the extended front end portion of the suspension cross member is connected to the front frame, the suspension cross rigidity and the suspension support rigidity can be improved, and the steering stability can be improved.
[0014]
In one embodiment of the present invention, a member extending between the front end portion of the suspension cross member and the front frame and extending in the vertical direction is provided.
According to the above configuration, the separate member extending in the vertical direction can improve the suspension cross rigidity and the suspension rigidity, and the workability of the member is improved.
[0015]
In an embodiment of the present invention, the front end of the suspension cross member is integrally bent upward and connected to the front frame.
According to the above configuration, since the front end of the suspension cross member is bent upward and connected to the front frame without using a member of another member, it is possible to reduce the number of parts and the number of assembly steps.
[0016]
In one embodiment of the present invention, the front end of the suspension cross member extends forward from a drive shaft that connects a power train disposed in the engine compartment and the front wheels.
[0017]
According to the above configuration, the suspension can be supported with a long span in the front-rear direction, so that the suspension support rigidity can be improved and a collision can be dealt with.
[0018]
In one embodiment of the present invention, a pair of left and right front apron rain is provided on the upper side of the engine room from the upper end of the dash panel, and a suspension tower that supports the suspension upper part of the front wheel is provided on both sides of the engine room. And a suspension tower box connected to the suspension tower, an intermediate portion of the front apron rain is integrally coupled to the suspension tower box, and a rear end of the front apron rain supports a side portion of the windshield. And connected to the front end of the front pillar extending rearward.
[0019]
The windshield having the above-described configuration is a front window member including both glass and reinforced plastic.
According to the above configuration, since the collision load is transmitted from the front apron rain reinforced with the suspension tower box to the front pillar, the collision load can be efficiently transmitted to the rear of the vehicle body, and the suspension tower having particularly high rigidity is used. Therefore, even when the vehicle collides with a large other vehicle, it is possible to prevent the host vehicle from getting below the other vehicle.
[0020]
In one embodiment of the present invention, a suspension tower front box and a suspension tower rear box connected to a front apron rain are provided at a front portion and a rear portion of the suspension tower.
[0021]
According to the above configuration, since the suspension load is received by the suspension tower front box and suspension tower rear box provided at both the front and rear positions of the suspension tower and the highly rigid suspension tower, the own vehicle can It is possible to better prevent the lower portion from getting into the lower side.
[0022]
In one embodiment of the present invention, a floor panel extending rearward along the dash panel is provided, a floor frame extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle is provided along the floor panel, and a rear end of the front frame is provided. The part is continuously connected to the floor frame.
According to the above configuration, the collision load input to the front frame can be transmitted to the floor frame, so that the collision resistance can be improved.
