シソ種子とゴマ種子とを等量に混合し、キルン式焙煎機により、120℃、250℃、370℃で20分間、それぞれ20kg焙煎した。常法により、焙煎種子を蒸熱後、エキスペラーで搾油し、圧搾原油をそれぞれ約3kg得た。これらの原油をろ過、静置し、たんぱく質やリン脂質が析出沈殿するのを待ってさらにろ過した。得られた油脂の風味について表5に示す。
