Description
The present invention relates to a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine for a vehicle.
However, in the lubrication apparatus described in these documents, in order to increase the capacity of the oil tank, it is necessary to expand a closed space used as the oil tank in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body constituent member. For this reason, the oil in the tank tends to stay, and there is a possibility that good lubricating performance cannot be secured.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine for a vehicle that can suppress oil retention and improve lubricating performance.
A lubricating device according to the present invention is a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine for a vehicle, and is a vehicle body structural member having a closed space disposed in the vicinity of the internal combustion engine , and a rear end portion of the rear of the vehicle hangs down below the vehicle. An oil inflow port and an oil outflow port are provided in the side member that is used to use the closed space as an oil tank, and a partition wall that forms an oil flow path in the closed space extends in the longitudinal direction of the side member. The above-described problem is solved by providing a drain hole at the rear end portion of the side member .
According to the lubricating device of the present invention, the oil flow path is formed in the closed space of the vehicle body component member by the partition wall, and the oil is thereby guided, so that the closed space used as the oil tank is used as the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body component member. Even if spread in the direction, oil stays less likely. Therefore, good lubrication performance can be ensured regardless of the tank capacity. The side members of the vehicles there is a sufficient volume to store the amount of oil required for the internal combustion engine, moreover, since the side members are mounted internal combustion engine, and can shorten the distance of the internal combustion engine and the oil tank Convenient. Further, since the ward Ekabe extends in the longitudinal direction of the side members, since the side member and the partitioning wall it is possible to collectively manufactured by a so-called extrusion, is suitable for mass production. Furthermore, since the drain hole in the rear end portion of the side member is formed, it is facilitated maintenance such as oil change,.
In the lubricating device of the present invention, the partition wall partitions the closed space into two layers in the vehicle vertical direction and one end faces the rear end of the side member in a state where both ends are released. Accordingly, the oil flow path may be formed so that the oil flow is folded back at the rear end portion, and the drain hole may be positioned below the end portion of the partition wall (Claim 2). .
In the lubricating device of the present invention, an oil filter and a reserve tank are respectively fixed to the side members, and the oil recovered from the internal combustion engine sequentially passes through the oil filter and the reserve tank and flows through the oil flow. It is preferable that the flow path of the oil is determined so as to flow into the oil tank from the inlet (claim 3 ). Since the side member is relatively long in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, there are not so many parts around it. Therefore, according to this aspect, the degree of freedom in selecting the installation locations of the oil inflow port and the outflow port is increased, so that it is possible to appropriately arrange other parts and the like constituting the lubricating device.
Further, the present invention is preferably applied to a dry sump type lubrication device (claim 4 ). However, application of the present invention is not excluded for other types of lubrication devices that require an external oil tank.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the lubrication apparatus of the internal combustion engine for vehicles which can suppress the stay of oil and can improve lubrication performance can be provided.
FIG. 1 is a system configuration diagram in which a lubricating device 1 according to the present embodiment is applied to an engine 2 as an internal combustion engine for a vehicle. As shown in this figure, the oil that has finished lubricating each part of the engine 2 is collected in the oil pan 3. The oil collected in the oil pan 3 is sucked up by the scavenge pump P1, and after foreign substances and bubbles are removed by the oil filter 4 and the defoamer 5, the oil is introduced into the
Thus, the method of pumping oil to the oil tank without accumulating oil in the oil pan is called a so-called dry sump method.
図3(a)は側面図、図3(b)は上面図、図3(C)はI−Iで切断した断面図である。
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a front portion of a vehicle body B to which the lubricating device according to the present embodiment is applied. As is well known, the vehicle body B includes a bumper reinforcement 9, a
As shown in these drawings, the
The closed space S is partitioned by a
In this embodiment, since the
The
Moreover, since the
As mentioned above, although the lubrication apparatus 1 of this invention was demonstrated based on embodiment, this invention is not limited to this embodiment. In the embodiment described above, the closed space S of the
