Claims (6)
- 内燃機関に回転自在に設けられたカムシャフトと、
前記カムシャフトに形成されたカムと、
前記内燃機関に揺動自在に設けられ前記カムにより駆動される揺動カムと、
前記揺動カムにより駆動される吸気バルブ又は排気バルブと、
前記内燃機関に回転自在に前記カムシャフトと並行に設けられた制御シャフトと、
一端が前記制御シャフトに保持され、他端が前記制御シャフトから突出する制御アームと、
前記制御シャフトを回転させ制御アームを変位させるアクチュエータと、
前記制御シャフトの軸方向と略同一方向を回動軸として前記制御アームの他端と回動自在に結合し、前記制御アームの変位を前記揺動カムに伝達する伝達アームと、
前記制御シャフトの軸心と前記伝達アームの回動軸との距離を調整する調整手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 前記制御アームは、前記制御シャフトに制御シャフトの軸方向と直交する方向を軸とし回動自在に保持されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 前記制御アームの一端は、前記制御シャフトに挿入され、
前記調整手段は、前記制御シャフトの前記制御アームと反対側に進退可能に螺挿された、前記制御アームの一端と当接する調整ねじ部材を有して構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 前記調整手段は、前記制御シャフトと前記制御アームの他端との間のアーム部分に進退可能に螺挿されたナット部材を有して構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 前記調整手段は、前記制御アームの一端と前記制御シャフトとの間に介在されるスペーサを有して構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 前記制御シャフトには、前記伝達アームと前記制御アームとを結合した結合部分の一部が格納される凹部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか一つに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
