主枠の長手中間において踏板が乗降口寄り箇所よりも高速で移動する従来の中間高速乗客コンベヤーにおいて、次ぎに述べるように中間高速乗客コンベヤーの移動手摺装置が構成されている。すなわち、主枠の幅方向における縁部に設けられてこの縁部の長手に沿って立設され、上記主枠の乗降口寄りに乗降口寄り欄干が配置され、無端状をなし乗降口寄り欄干の外周に嵌合されて乗降口寄り欄干の長手端に湾曲した反転部を形成した低速移動手摺が設けられる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記のように構成された従来の中間高速乗客コンベヤーの移動手摺装置では、低速移動手摺及び高速移動手摺の両者のそれぞれに対応した移動手摺の駆動機構が設けられる。このため、低速移動手摺駆動機構及び高速移動手摺駆動機構の製作及び据付のために煩雑な手数が掛かって費用が嵩むという問題点があった。また、低速移動手摺については実施設計において長さが短く、設置のためのスペースが不足することがあって低速移動手摺駆動機構の設置が困難になるという問題点があった。

この発明は、かかる問題点を解消するためになされたものであり、簡易な装置構成であって高速移動手摺の移動動作を伝動して低速移動手摺を駆動する中間高速乗客コンベヤーの移動手摺装置を得ることを目的とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
