Description
The present invention relates to an engine fuel supply amount control apparatus using a microcomputer.
When the engine is started by the starter motor, the battery voltage may drop due to the large start-up current of the starter motor. When a microcomputer is used for the fuel supply control device of the engine, in order to avoid microcomputer runaway due to a battery voltage drop, the microcomputer is reset by outputting a reset signal, and the battery voltage is recovered to a certain value or more. In this case, the microcomputer is operated normally by releasing the reset state.
However, when the microcomputer for controlling the fuel supply amount is in the reset state, the fuel supply is inevitably stopped, so that there is a problem that the engine fails to start or takes time to start.
In order to solve such a problem, for example, in Patent Document 1, when a computer of a fuel injection amount control device is operating normally, a normal operation of controlling a drive circuit of an actuator that drives a fuel injection amount control member such as a spill ring is controlled. In addition to the main circuit (servo circuit), a power supply circuit connected to the battery power supply via a starter switch is provided as an emergency circuit when the computer operation stops, and these two circuits are connected via an OR gate. It is connected to the input side of the actuator drive circuit.
However, in the invention described in Patent Document 1, since the actuator drive circuit and the battery must be connected via a starter switch, this is a major restriction on the circuit configuration, and when the starter switch is in a remote position. There was a problem that the wiring had to be lengthened.
In addition, since the battery voltage is always input to the OR gate when the starter switch is turned on, even when the computer is not reset, the actuator drive circuit is always driven by the battery voltage when the engine is started. The solenoid is energized with the maximum current, and the fuel injection amount is maximized. Therefore, useless fuel injection is performed.
In view of such a problem, the present invention provides a fuel supply amount control device for an engine that ensures the fuel supply to the engine by driving the drive circuit of the actuator by the power supply from the battery when the microcomputer is reset without using a starter switch. The purpose is to provide.
The present invention includes a fuel supply amount adjusting means for adjusting a fuel supply amount of an engine, an actuator (1) for operating the fuel supply amount adjusting means, a main driver (2) for driving the actuator (1), An engine fuel supply amount control apparatus including a microcomputer (3) for controlling a main driver (2) is configured as follows.
That is, when the battery voltage (+ B) of the engine drops and falls below the operating voltage value of the microcomputer (3) and the microcomputer (3) is reset, the emergency pre-drive driven by the power supply from the battery is performed. A driver (10) is provided, and the microcomputer (3) is provided with a first output port (31) and a second output port (32),
When the engine battery voltage (+ B) is equal to or higher than the operating voltage value of the microcomputer (3), the main driver is controlled based on a control signal output from the first output port (31) by the microcomputer (3). (2) is driven to control the energization current of the actuator (1);
When the battery voltage (+ B) falls below the operating voltage value of the microcomputer (3) and the microcomputer (3) is reset, the emergency pre-driver (10) is driven by power supply from the battery, The predriver (10) further drives the main driver (2) to energize the actuator (1) to ensure fuel supply to the engine,
The emergency pre-driver (10) is activated with the stop of the output signal from the second output port (32) when the microcomputer (3) is reset as an input signal.
Here, the emergency pre-driver (10) is configured as follows. That is, the emergency pre-driver (10) includes a first transistor (Tr1) and a second transistor (Tr2), and the base of the first transistor (Tr1) serves as the second output port (32). ), The collector is connected to the positive terminal of the battery, the emitter is grounded, the base of the second transistor (Tr2) is connected to the positive terminal of the battery, and the collector is connected to the main driver (2). When the output signal from the second output port (32) is at a high level, the first transistor (Tr1) is turned on, and the By passing a current from the collector to the emitter of the first transistor (Tr1), the second transistor (Tr2) is held in an off state, When Tteri voltage (+ B) is the microcomputer (3) to drop the reset, the control signal from the first output port (31) is stopped, the output signal from the second output port (32) is low The first transistor (Tr1) is turned off, and the current from the battery is supplied to the base of the second transistor (Tr2) to turn on the second transistor (Tr2). The main driver (2) is turned on, the actuator (1) is energized, and the fuel metering rack of the fuel injection pump is driven to the maximum fuel injection position.
When the battery voltage (+ B) is equal to or higher than the operating voltage value of the microcomputer (3), the control signal output from the first output port (31) is preferably a PWM signal.
The emergency pre-driver (10) according to the present invention is activated with the stop of the output signal of the microcomputer (3) when the microcomputer (3) is reset as an input signal, so that the microcomputer (3) is in the reset state. When there is no normal time, the fuel supply amount can be appropriately controlled by the microcomputer (3), and the advantages of electronic control can be utilized.
Further, the emergency pre-driver (10) of the present invention stops the output signal from the second output port (32) itself when the microcomputer (3) is reset, regardless of the start signal from the starter switch. Therefore, even if power is supplied from the battery, there is no need to connect to the battery via the starter switch, and the microcomputer (3) itself changes its state (reset or reset is released). Control and emergency (reset) control can be switched autonomously. For this reason, there is no restriction on the circuit arrangement due to the starter switch, the degree of freedom of arrangement can be increased, and there is no need to lengthen the wiring even when the starter switch is in a remote position.
Further, in the present invention, when the battery voltage (+ B) falls below the operating voltage value of the microcomputer (3) and the microcomputer (3) is reset, the emergency pre-driver (10) is driven by receiving power supply from the battery. The emergency pre-driver (10) further drives the main driver (2) to energize the actuator (1) to secure the fuel supply to the engine. Of course, there is no problem of taking time.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a main part circuit diagram of an engine fuel supply amount control apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. Below, the case where this invention is applied to the fuel injection amount control of a diesel engine is demonstrated.
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an electromagnetic solenoid (corresponding to “actuator”), which drives a fuel metering rack (corresponding to “fuel supply amount adjusting means”) of a fuel injection pump (not shown) to inject fuel from a diesel engine. The amount is adjusted.
In this embodiment, the engine load is detected by the energization current of the actuator (electromagnetic solenoid 1), but the engine load is detected by a rack position sensor that detects the position of the fuel metering rack of the fuel injection pump (not shown). May be detected.
The
The base of the transistor Tr1 (corresponding to the “first transistor”) is connected to the
The base of the transistor Tr2 (corresponding to the “second transistor”) is connected to the positive terminal of the battery via the resistors R4 and R3 and grounded via the resistor R5. The collector of the transistor Tr2 is connected to the input side (the gate of the FET) of the
The base of the transistor Tr3 is connected to the positive terminal of the battery via the resistors R6 and R3 and grounded via the resistor R7. The collector of the transistor Tr3 is connected between the diode D1 and the resistor R2, and the emitter is grounded.
The
Specifically, when the signal from the
On the other hand, when the voltage drop of the battery occurs and the
The diode D1 is for providing hysteresis to the voltage value of the battery that switches the transistor Tr1 on and off when the signal from the
Since the embodiment of the present invention is configured as described above, the following effects can be obtained.
First, when the
In addition, the
