照明器具を昇降する昇降式照明装置であって、
上記照明器具が取付けられる構造をその第1の端部側に備えた第1のアーム部材と、
上記第1のアーム部材の第2の端部側において該第1のアーム部材と所定の開角をもってその第1の端部側が結合された第2のアーム部材と、
上記第1のアーム部材の第2の端部側または上記第2のアーム部材の上記第1の端部側が回動可能に係合された支点部と、
上記支点部よりも上方の位置に配された滑車または第1のローラと、
上記第2のアーム部材の第2の端部側に設けられた第2のローラと、
上記滑車または第1ローラ及び上記第2のローラを通り、上記第2のアーム部材の上記第2の端部側を移動変位させるロープ材と、
上記第2のアーム部材の上記第2の端部側を所定の変位位置で保持する保持部材と、
を備え、上記ロープ材に引張り外力が与えられたとき、該引張り外力を上記第2のアーム部材に伝えて該第2のアーム部材と上記第1のアーム部材を上記支点部周りに回動変位させ、所定の回動変位量の位置で該第2のアーム部材を上記保持部材により保持する構成としたことを特徴とする昇降式照明装置。
