Description
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar, an aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar manufacturing facility, and an aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar.
In general, an aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod is manufactured by casting a cylindrical, prismatic or hollow column-shaped long ingot from molten aluminum alloy.
First, raw materials for aluminum alloy are put into a melting and holding furnace and melted to obtain a molten aluminum alloy.
Then, after the aluminum oxide and hydrogen gas in the molten aluminum alloy are removed by a molten metal processing apparatus, the molten aluminum alloy is supplied to a horizontal continuous casting apparatus to cast an aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar.
Next, the cast aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar is cut into a predetermined length and used for subsequent processes (machining, heat treatment) (see, for example,
The aluminum alloy molten metal is transferred from the melting and holding furnace to the molten metal processing apparatus using a scooping device or a heat-resistant scissor.
Moreover, after bundling the cut aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bars, they are transported by a crane or a forklift.
Conventionally, when manufacturing an aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod, since each of the above processes is performed in a batch operation, it is necessary to periodically supply raw materials, bundle for conveying work, disassemble, etc. An aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar could not be produced efficiently.
On the other hand, in order to achieve a consistent continuous process, how to continuously supply the molten aluminum alloy stably over a long period of time, and how to smoothly transport the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar between each process. There are challenges.
Therefore, it has been difficult to realize a continuous process by simply connecting the devices.

By alternately operating the melting and holding
An important point here is that a discontinuous state is not created in the
In this invention, as shown in FIG. 3, the

Therefore, the tilting state of the melting and holding

However, in this method, the liquid surface of the
As a result, the liquid level fluctuation due to switching of the melting and holding
Since the liquid level fluctuation is suppressed, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a discontinuous state in the supply state of the

Next, in the level feed hot water method (hot water control) shown in FIG. 4, the hot metal surface (liquid surface) of the
Therefore, there is a possibility that the liquid level may change due to the tilting operation at the time of switching of the melting and holding
The hot water control is selected in consideration of the number of melting and holding
And, in order to monitor the state of the
Next, the molten
In the conventional molten metal processing apparatus, the supply of argon gas for the molten metal processing must be stopped, the lid must be opened to remove the residue, and work efficiency is poor.
However, since the molten
Next, the
Moreover, the
Here, the important point is to suppress the temperature fluctuation of the
If the temperature condition fluctuates, the molten metal treatment may become insufficient, and the temperature management control of the melting and holding
However, by suppressing the temperature fluctuation due to switching of the melting and holding
It is preferable to suppress the temperature fluctuation of the
Thereby, the temperature variation of the
In addition, since the temperature drop is small, the temperature in each melting and holding
Moreover, it can satisfy | fill and supply sufficient temperature conditions easily with respect to the alloy kind which needs to make the temperature of the aluminum
In order to reduce the temperature drop of the
Furthermore, the distance from the plurality of melting and holding
As a result, the conditions affecting the temperature in each melting and holding
As a result, temperature management is facilitated, and temperature fluctuations due to furnace differences due to switching of the melting and holding
And since a temperature fluctuation is suppressed, it can suppress that a discontinuous state generate | occur | produces in the supply state of the aluminum

As a result, casting stoppage due to hot water leakage can be reduced, and continuous operation for a long time can be easily realized.
The air cylinder is structurally simple, has low equipment costs, can reduce the time required for installation, and can obtain a stable pressing force.

Next, the operation of the
First, as shown in FIG. 12, the bending direction of the aluminum alloy horizontal

Then, the
The aluminum alloy horizontal
Then, as shown in FIG. 13, when the set number of aluminum alloy horizontal
When the number of steps of the aluminum alloy horizontal
In the present invention, the both end portions to be supported include a range inside the both ends within a range in which this action is obtained.

Furthermore, in order to manage the flow of processing, it is preferable to install a monitoring camera near the

In the case where the stacking and bundling processes are omitted, the heat treatment may be performed by passing the aluminum alloy horizontal
And although illustration is omitted, the aluminum alloy horizontal
The alignment state is preferably matched with the input port of the subsequent process, and can be, for example, one row.
The aligning
This combination has not only the transfer to the next process but also a buffer effect at the time of transfer, so adjustment of the processing speed difference between the preceding and subsequent processes, retention processing when trouble occurs, and the like can be performed.
By properly arranging the aligning
The aluminum alloy horizontal
This portion of the non-uniform structure causes cracking or the like in the plastic processing and needs to be removed.
However, the thin aluminum alloy horizontal
For example, if the bending is present in the aluminum alloy horizontal
Therefore, in order to continuously produce the aluminum alloy horizontal
As a result, stable and continuous operation can be performed more easily.
Here, AAA mm / 1000 mm means that the bending amount is AAA mm with respect to 1000 mm in the longitudinal direction.
Further, when the bend is 5 mm / 1000 mm or more, variation occurs in the gap between the detector and the outer peripheral surface of the aluminum alloy horizontal
In addition, when passing through a guide bush provided at the inlet of the
If the bending is 5 mm / 1000 mm or more, the backlash of the aluminum alloy horizontal
Therefore, it is desirable that the bending be suppressed to less than 5 mm / 1000 mm (more preferably 2 mm / 1000 mm or less, and still more preferably 0.5 mm / 1000 mm or less).
As a result, stable and continuous operation can be performed more easily.
As described above, the straightening machine that corrects the bending of the aluminum alloy horizontal
For example, the bending is reduced by passing the aluminum alloy horizontal
The processing conditions are set by adjusting the roll angle, the rolling load, and the rotational speed of the roller.
As a result, since bending is reduced, troubles in loading and unloading to the apparatus during transportation are reduced, so that continuous continuous operation can be performed more easily.

In addition, the range from the surface to about 1 mm is a range in which a defect may occur due to the
Therefore, it is preferable to remove a casting surface that is twice or more of the above region, that is, 2 mm or more from the surface.

Next, the outer periphery removal of the aluminum alloy horizontal
First, each conveying
Then, by introducing the aluminum alloy horizontal
According to this outer
In particular, in the case of a thin material (for example, a diameter of 20 mm to 100 mm), the workpiece itself has a large bend, and therefore, the peeling process is more advantageous than the turning process of the object to be cut, which is liable to cause uncut material.
In addition, it is preferable that chips generated when removing the cast skin in the outer
For example, the chips are made fine using a chip crusher, and the fine chips are pumped using pressurized air.
As a result, since the generated chips are temporarily stored and the trouble of transporting the stored chips by a forklift or the like is eliminated, consistent continuous operation can be more easily performed.
If there is a defect in the surface portion and inside of the aluminum alloy horizontal
It is preferable to use an ultrasonic flaw detection inspection apparatus as the
The ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus includes a probe, a signal processing unit, and a determination unit that compares a preset condition with a processing signal to determine whether it is acceptable or not and outputs a result.
This is because this ultrasonic flaw detection can perform an internal inspection by the behavior of the ultrasonic wave irradiated from the probe in the inspection object (aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod 4).
Other internal inspection methods include X-ray transmission inspection, but it takes time to manage the equipment, such as the need for a high-voltage device to generate X-rays.
In addition, the X-ray transmission inspection has a high detection capability for defects having a volume such as foreign matter and cavities due to its principle, but the detection capability for defects such as cracks that have a small volume and greatly affect quality characteristics is poor. .
On the other hand, ultrasonic flaw detection has a high detection capability even for cracks, and by processing the detected electrical signal, automatic determination of defects can be easily made compared to X-rays that require image processing, Highly accurate inspection and stable inspection.

Examples of the medium include water, machine oil, water glass, Grease, petroleum jelly, etc. are used.
Examples of the measuring method include a contact method, a water immersion method, a pulse wave method, a continuous wave method, a two probe method, a single probe method, and a multiple reflection method.
As a method of the present invention, a method can be used in which a pulsed ultrasonic signal is transmitted and a reflected or transmitted signal is received and the presence of a defect is detected from a change (reflection, shielding, attenuation) of the received signal.

Next, the flaw detection of the defect 4a of the aluminum alloy horizontal
First, when the surface echo S in the surface echo range Ss exceeds the threshold value, flaw detection is started.
When the bottom echo B in the bottom echo range Bs falls below the threshold value, the flaw detection is terminated.
Therefore, if there is a defect echo F exceeding the threshold in the flaw detection echo range Fs between the surface echo range Ss and the bottom surface echo range Bs, it can be detected that there is a defect 4a at the position of the defect echo F.

This is because even if the surface roughness of the aluminum alloy horizontal
Further, it is preferable to use water or machine oil as the medium because attenuation of ultrasonic waves is small.
As a method for adjusting the flaw detection sensitivity, either a bottom echo method or a test piece method can be used.
The bottom echo method is to adjust the sensitivity of the flaw detection apparatus so that the echo from the bottom surface in the sound part of the specimen becomes a predetermined output value.
The bottom echo method is affected by the roughness of the surface of the aluminum alloy horizontal
In the test piece method, the sensitivity of the flaw detector is adjusted so that the echo value of the standard test piece having the standard hole becomes a predetermined output value.
In the case of the aluminum alloy horizontal
Next, the dead zone 4n will be described.
In FIG. 17, the outer peripheral portion (portion outside the dotted line) of the aluminum alloy horizontal
Factors that cause the dead band 4n include transport play, blur due to bending of the aluminum alloy horizontal
In particular, it is effective to reduce the transport play.
This is because this transport play has the greatest influence on the dead zone 4n.
Here, an example of a method for suppressing the dead zone 4n will be specifically described.
In addition, the width of the dead zone 4n can be suppressed to a predetermined width or less by appropriately combining these.
First, the backlash countermeasure will be described.
For example, guide bushes and guide rollers are installed before and after the
As a result, the object to be detected (aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod 4) is not shaken rapidly during the flaw detection, and the predetermined waveform does not deviate from the flaw detection echo range Fs.
In addition, the backlash can be made smaller than a desired value by adopting a structure that suppresses vibration during transfer roller transfer.
Next, countermeasures for the near field will be described.
In the vertical probe, the range in which the sound field is disturbed without spreading the sound wave in the vicinity of the
In a portion farther than the near field, the ultrasonic wave has a relationship that the sound pressure decreases as the distance increases.
This range is called the near field limit (x), and is generally expressed as x = d 2 / (4 × λ).
Here, d is the diameter [mm] of the
For this reason, since the flaw detection field cannot be flawed or the flaw detection result becomes unstable, the range contributes to the dead zone 4n.
This is because it is estimated that the near field is equivalent to the sagging portion of the surface wave (S wave).
However, the
It is also important to adopt a
Next, a description will be given of measures against blurring due to bending.
The object to be inspected is slightly bent and travels in the longitudinal direction at a speed of several tens of meters per minute by the transport device, and is put into a measurement location where the
For example, if the bend is 5 mm / 1000 mm or more, when the
As a countermeasure against this, as described above, it is preferable to remove the bending by correction processing.
It is also important to improve the copying of the
Other measures will be described.
In the water immersion type in which the distance from the
Therefore, a surface echo range Ss having a sufficient width is set in the vicinity of the surface wave generation position in advance, and the flaw detection echo range Fs is set starting from this position.
Further, the flaw detection echo range Fs is set by the information of the surface echo range Ss constantly and at high speed.
As a result, it is possible to remove the influence of the backlash of the test object.
A preferred example of the ultrasonic flaw detection method will be described.
As shown in FIG. 18, the ultrasonic flaw detection inspection method uses a plurality of
This is because the conveyance of the object to be inspected is only a linear motion in the longitudinal direction, so that the conveyance device can be inexpensive.

Examples of means for rotating the object to be inspected include a lathe.

This is because the entire range can be inspected without degrading the detection capability.
Next, the surface inspection that is preferably included in the nondestructive inspection will be described.
Since this surface inspection is used as necessary, it is preferable to carry out the purpose of monitoring the chamfering process after the outer periphery removing process (chamfering process) for removing the outer periphery. An inspection method and an image processing method for detecting a surface defect by processing a surface image can be given.
The eddy current flaw inspection method is an inspection method for determining the presence or absence of a defect based on a change in eddy current generated on the surface of an object to be inspected using an electromagnetic induction phenomenon.
In the eddy current flaw inspection method, it is preferable to use a combination of the penetration coil method and the rotary probe method.
In the eddy current flaw inspection method, an eddy current flaw inspection apparatus having a coil serving as a detector, a signal processing means, and a determination means that compares a preset condition and a processing signal to determine whether it is acceptable or not and outputs a result of the acceptance or failure. Use.
The through-coil method detects a change in eddy current that is generated in the process in which an object to be inspected (aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod 4) passes through the coil.
This through coil method is preferably used for inspection of the surface layer.
The inspection range can be set by adjusting the oscillation frequency of the coil.
For example, the inspection range is preferably within 3 mm below the surface.
On the other hand, the rotating probe method is a method of inspecting the entire inspection object by rotating a small coil arranged above the inspection object.
Since this rotating probe method can make the probe small, it can detect even minute defects.
The rotary eddy current flaw detection is preferably used for the inspection of the range of the pole surface.
The inspection range can be set by adjusting the oscillation frequency of the coil.
For example, the inspection range is preferably within 1 mm below the surface.
It is preferable to control the cutting conditions of the chamfering process based on the surface inspection result.
Next, feedback of inspection results will be described.
First, when inspection was performed in the process according to the present invention, a casting defect caused by a casting process was detected in an internal inspection (for example, ultrasonic inspection), and an outer periphery removing process was detected in a surface inspection (for example, eddy current inspection). A processing flaw caused by was detected.
Therefore, the internal inspection result can be fed back to the casting process and the surface inspection result can be fed back to the outer periphery removal process.
Thus, since feedback can be performed easily, stable and consistent continuous operation can be easily realized by monitoring and feeding back each inspection result.
Another embodiment of the nondestructive inspection process will be described.
Ultrasonic flaw detection is a nondestructive inspection method in which the inspection accuracy in the vicinity of the outer peripheral surface is inferior to that in the aluminum alloy horizontal
Therefore, a nondestructive inspection (internal inspection) is performed before the outer periphery removing step, and then the outer peripheral portion (outer peripheral surface) is removed.
By doing so, for example, a portion including a region that becomes a dead zone 4n with inferior inspection accuracy by ultrasonic flaw detection is removed in the outer periphery removing step.
As a result, the eddy current flaw detection inspection for inspecting the outer peripheral surface layer portion can be omitted, and since the ultrasonic flaw detection inspection method is a single inspection, a sound material having no difference in detection ability by the flaw detection area can be obtained.
As described above, if the nondestructive inspection is not limited to the ultrasonic flaw detection inspection method but is based on the nondestructive inspection method in which the inspection accuracy in the vicinity of the outer peripheral surface is inferior to the inside of the aluminum alloy horizontal
As a result, it is possible to detect the occurrence of defects such as defects caused when contacting with the
Moreover, the part (range) which becomes an obstacle at the time of post-process plastic processing or machining is the part (range) of the casting surface to be removed in the present invention.
Therefore, it is preferable that the area of the dead zone 4n is smaller than the range of the casting surface to be deleted.
Since these ranges are deleted in the outer periphery removing step, it is preferable to suppress the dead zone 4n below this range.
As a result, the range of the dead zone 4n is finally chamfered and deleted.
When the range (distance from the surface) of the dead zone 4n is A and the range (distance from the surface) to be removed in the outer periphery removing step is B, it is preferable that A <B.
More preferably, by setting A ≦ 0.8 × B, the dead zone 4n can be deleted more reliably.
If the nondestructive inspection (internal inspection) is performed before the outer periphery removing step, it is not necessary to suppress the width of the dead zone 4n of the nondestructive inspection (internal inspection) more than necessary.
And since it is sufficient if the dead zone 4n can be suppressed within the range to be deleted in the outer periphery removing step, it is not necessary to make the equipment more expensive.

The above description is an example of the present invention, but various changes can be made according to product quality and process management.
First, depending on which stage of the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar is the final product, the packing process for packing the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar is replaced by the bundling process, the cutting process, the heat treatment process, and the outer periphery removal. You may provide after a process.
Then, the nondestructive inspection may be performed after the cutting step and / or after the heat treatment step, and the internal inspection and the external inspection in the nondestructive inspection may be interchanged.
In this way, when the non-destructive inspection is moved or performed at a plurality of locations, the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar may be aligned and / or corrected before that.
Although you are correct bending of aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar before NDI, since not doing any processing after removal of the outer periphery of the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod, before NDI In the case where the outer periphery removing process is sufficiently managed and no peeling marks remain on the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar, the surface inspection can be omitted.
Further, when the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar is not bent, it is needless to say that the bending of the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar need not be corrected.
And you may perform an outer periphery removal process after a cutting process.
Further, the bundling step and the heat treatment step can be omitted as necessary.
Furthermore, the alignment step is not necessarily required if a plurality of aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bars can be processed simultaneously.
In addition, since a nondestructive inspection process can be performed with respect to the whole aluminum alloy continuous casting rod, it is not limited to an aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod.

貫通型プローブで検出した検出欠陥個数と回転型プローブで検出した検出欠陥個数とを、それぞれ対応する検出個数判定基準と比較することにより、例えば、図27に示すように、欠陥検出結果を集合A(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上)、集合B(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上)、集合C(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満)、集合D(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満)に分類できる。
FIG. 27 is an explanatory view showing a set of defects detected by the through-type eddy
The sensitivity of the penetrating probe (probe) of the penetrating eddy
By comparing the number of detected defects detected by the penetrating probe and the number of detected defects detected by the rotary probe with the corresponding detection number determination criteria, for example, as shown in FIG. (The number of detected defects by the penetrating probe is equal to or greater than the detection number criterion, and the number of detected defects by the rotary probe is equal to or greater than the detected number criterion), set B (the number of detected defects by the penetrating probe is less than the detected number criterion), and , The number of detected defects by the rotary probe is greater than or equal to the detection number criterion, and set C (the number of detected defects by the penetrating probe is greater than or equal to the detected number criterion and the number of detected defects by the rotary probe is less than the detected number criterion) Set D (the number of detected defects by the penetrating probe is less than the detection number criterion and the number of detected defects by the rotary probe is detected. It can be classified into less than the number criterion).
Further, a set judgment criterion is provided for the number of objects to be inspected 4001 (test body, aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast rod) classified into each set A to D, and the target classified into which set is compared with this set judgment criterion. It is determined whether the test object is frequently generated.
Note that the detection number determination criterion and the set determination criterion may be set at a multistage level as necessary.
Each of the above-described sets A to D is classified according to the shape and type of the wound.
The penetrating probe can accurately detect the circumferential direction of the surface of the object to be inspected, and further has an excellent ability to detect foreign matter in the object to be inspected or on the surface as compared with the rotary probe.
On the other hand, the rotary probe can detect minute opening defects with high accuracy, and further has better detection accuracy of defects in the longitudinal direction of the surface of the object to be inspected than the penetrating probe.
As a result, each of the sets A to D is classified by characteristics such as the directionality of the defect shape and the presence or absence of foreign matter.
Since these defects are affected by any of the manufacturing processes, the occurrence state of the classified defects reflects the state of the manufacturing process.
For example, a stable manufacturing method can be achieved by applying feedback to manufacturing conditions as follows.
If the condition of the casting surface is reflected, feedback is given to the casting conditions.
If the machining status is reflected, feedback is given to the machining conditions.
集合A(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上)に分類される被検査体が多い場合は、被検査体の表面に、大きな開放部を有する形状の欠陥が多発していることになる。
Specifically, the following judgment is made and feedback is given.
If there are many objects to be inspected that are classified into the set A (the number of detected defects by the penetrating probe is equal to or larger than the detection number criterion and the number of detected defects by the rotary probe is equal to or larger than the detected number criterion), the surface of the object to be inspected In addition, defects having a shape having large open portions frequently occur.
For example, such defects frequently occur when the casting surface is greatly rough.
Since many defects in such a situation have occurred at the casting stage, it is effective to feed the casting conditions to the horizontal
Specifically, since the amount of lubricating oil or gas supplied at the time of casting is in an inappropriate state, adjusting these to an appropriate amount can be mentioned. Alternatively, the mechanical state of the horizontal
集合B(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上)に分類される被検査体が多い場合は、機械加工時に欠陥が多発している。
If there are many inspected objects that are classified into set B (the number of detected defects by the penetrating probe is less than the detection number criterion and the number of detected defects by the rotary probe is greater than or equal to the detection number criterion), there are defects during machining. It occurs frequently.
For example, if the cutting state of the blade is inappropriate in machining, or if the tool mark remains and the correction is not sufficient, the correction is too strong and the mark on the roll of the straightening machine is transferred and scratched. In such a case, such a defect occurs frequently when there is a projection or the like that damages the surface of the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod on the conveying line.
Since many defects in such a situation have occurred in the machining process, it is effective to feed back machining conditions to the
Specifically, outer peripheral surface cutting conditions (cutting conditions) and straightening conditions (correction performed after inspection of the outer peripheral surface of the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous cast bar and before inspection) are adjusted. Alternatively, the inspection and repair of the mechanical state of the outer
集合C(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準以上、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満)に分類される被検査体が多い場合は、被検査体の表面に、円周方向の欠陥が多発していることになる。
If there are many objects to be inspected that are classified into set C (the number of detected defects by the penetrating probe is equal to or greater than the detection number criterion and the number of detected defects by the rotary probe is less than the detection number criterion), the surface of the object to be inspected In addition, circumferential defects frequently occur.
For example, when defects such as seizure, oxide, or refractory material constituting the mold frequently occur on the surface of the casting, such defects frequently occur.
Defects in such a situation are mostly foreign matter type defects, and these defects are generated in the melt casting process. Therefore, like the feedbacks F3 and F4 shown in FIG. casting conditions of the feedback is valid.
Specific examples of the feedback process to the molten metal treatment conditions include adjustment of the flow rate of the inert gas to be introduced and the rotation speed of the stirring member, the deterioration of the stirring member, and the check for gas leakage.
In addition, as a specific example of the feedback process to casting conditions, there are many cases where the amount of lubricating oil or gas supplied at the time of casting is excessive, so that the supply amount can be limited to an appropriate amount.
Furthermore, it is preferable to add information on the ultrasonic inspection result.
For example, when there are many inspected objects classified into the set C, and there are few defects in ultrasonic inspection, it can be determined that the internal state of the aluminum alloy horizontal continuous casting rod is sound, and the adjustment of the casting conditions is mainly performed. It is only necessary to implement it. That is, the feedback F3 is mainly used.
Further, for example, when there are many inspected objects classified into the set C, if there are many defects in the ultrasonic inspection result, it can be determined that there is a high possibility that foreign matter is included in the entire ingot.
Therefore, since there is a possibility that the molten metal is contaminated, the molten metal processing conditions should be mainly adjusted. That is, the feedback F4 is mainly used.
集合D(貫通型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満、かつ、回転型プローブによる検出欠陥個数が検出個数判定基準未満)に分類される被検査体が多い場合は、品質条件を満足した状態であると考えることができる。 The quality condition was satisfied when there were many inspected objects classified as set D (the number of detected defects by the penetrating probe was less than the detected number criterion and the number of detected defects by the rotating probe was less than the detected number criterion). It can be considered a state.
一方、回転型プローブの検査信号周波数(は、100kHz〜1000kHz(好ましくは300kHz〜700kHz)とすることができる。
The penetrating probe uses, for example, a dual frequency as an inspection signal frequency (coil excitation frequency), a high frequency channel (10 kHz to 100 kHz: preferably 20 kHz to 50 kHz), and a low frequency channel (1 kHz to 10 kHz: preferably 1). .5 kHz to 5 kHz).
On the other hand, the inspection signal frequency of the rotary probe can be set to 100 kHz to 1000 kHz (preferably 300 kHz to 700 kHz).
Here, it is important to satisfy (frequency of penetrating probe) <(frequency of rotating probe).
This is because the rotary probe can detect minute scratches on the surface with higher accuracy by setting the detection frequency higher than the frequency of the penetrating probe in order to take advantage of the characteristic of detecting minute scratches.
On the other hand, the penetrating probe is preferably set to a frequency lower than the frequency of the rotating probe so as to cover, for example, the dead zone of the ultrasonic wave so that an inspection slightly deeper than the surface can be performed.
By using this inspection method, defect information can be analyzed in a multi-dimensional manner. As a result, it is easy to infer the status of the manufacturing process from the defect information, and the result is fed back as a condition of the manufacturing process. Thus, a stable quality casting rod can be manufactured.
