【0004】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for controlling weeds, and more particularly to a method for controlling perennial grasses in weeds.
[0002]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
1- (4,6-Dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl) -3- (3-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridylsulfonyl) urea (generic name: Frazasulfuron) is sold as a herbicide for warm field turf. It is used for the control of annual weeds, perennial broad-leaved weeds, Himekugu, Hamasuge and Horsetail in grass. N-methoxycarbonylsulfanilamide sodium (generic name: ashram) is sold as a herbicide for turf and is used to control annual field weeds in the lawn.
Perennial grasses weed in wilderness, but also occur in cemeteries, plant green spaces, parks, highway shoulders, islands and other lawn farms or golf courses. In order to control these weeds in the lawn, methods such as cutting or wiping the lawn with a powerful herbicide and then replacing the lawn were taken. In some cases, the entire soil was renewed with machine tools. In these cases, the cost was high, and turf death was a problem.
[0003]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The above-mentioned active ingredients used in the present invention, that is, flazasulfuron and ashram cannot control perennial grass weeds alone at the dosages used for turf. Surprisingly, however, it was possible to control perennial grass weeds without damaging the turf at a normal dose by mixing both active ingredients.
[0004]
That is, the present invention relates to 1- (4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl) -3- (3-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridylsulfonyl) urea (generic name: frazasulfuron) or a salt thereof, The present invention relates to a method for controlling perennial weeds in lawn by applying sodium methoxycarbonylsulfanilamide (generic name: ashram).

Moreover, since the product containing each active ingredient is marketed, respectively, they can be used.
[0009]
Currently marketed products include Shivagen wettable powder containing Frazasulfuron (trade name, Shivagen is a registered trademark) and Argylan 80SG containing Ashram (trade name, Arjiran is a registered trademark). The amount of these products used is 10 to 200 g product / 10a for Shivagen wettable powder (10% active ingredient), preferably 25 to 100 g product / 10a, more preferably 50 g product / 10a, and AZILAN 80SG (active ingredient 80 %) Is 100 to 1000 g product / 10a, preferably 200 to 500 g product / 10a, more preferably 300 g product / 10a. A predetermined amount of these products is diluted and sprayed in water of 100 to 300 liters / 10a, preferably 150 to 200 liters / 10a.
[0010]
When the above products are mixed, a spreading agent may be added. When applying a spreading agent, a more excellent effect is exhibited. Further, triethylammonium = 3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyloxyacetate (generic name: triclopyr, trade name: zytronamine solution, zytron is a registered trademark), 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (generic name) 2,4PA, trade name; 2,4-D), hormonal agents such as 2- (2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxy) propionic acid (generic name; MCPP), and various salts thereof, The control of broad-leaved weeds such as Inubouzuki, Giant corn, dandelion and communis can also be enhanced.
[0011]
The method of the present invention is applied to any place where perennial grasses weeds are generated in the lawn, such as cemeteries, plant green spaces, parks, highway shoulders, islands and other lawn growing places or golf courses. However, it is particularly suitable for controlling weeds such as parks, gardens, golf course tee grounds, fairways, greens, and various stadiums where aesthetics are required to manage the lawn.
[0012]
The application time of the method of the present invention cannot be defined unconditionally due to differences in weed generation time, generation conditions, etc., but usually it is suitable from March to November when weeds occur and flourish. The previous application is more effective.
