Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a low-cost device for detecting that when a bolt is fastened to a work (attached body) in a bolt automatic fastening device such as a nut runner, the bolt or the work is cracked and cannot be normally tightened. The present invention relates to a method for detecting defective screw tightening.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when bolts are tightened on a workpiece using a bolt automatic tightening device such as a nut runner, the rotation speed of the nut runner is controlled based on a preset curve, and the torque during the tightening is constantly monitored. When the torque reaches a preset target value, tightening is finished.
[0003]
During the tightening process, if the bolt or workpiece breaks due to some cause, the monitored torque value will drop rapidly, and it is detected that the bolt or workpiece has been damaged. can do.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, if a bolt or workpiece breakage occurs in the middle of screw tightening, it can be immediately known from the fact that the tightening torque is always detected as described above. Therefore, a serious accident occurs by means such as issuing an alarm. Can be prevented.
[0005]
However, if it is damaged immediately after reaching the target value, the torque value has reached the target value, so it is determined that it is normal, even if the bolt or workpiece is actually damaged. There was a problem that an alarm could not be issued, causing a serious accident.
[0006]
The present invention is intended to solve the above-described problems, and the purpose of the present invention is to add a specially expensive device for damage caused by cracking of a bolt or a workpiece immediately after tightening the bolt, which has been difficult to find in the past. It is an object of the present invention to provide a screw tightening failure detection method that can reliably detect the failure and prevent an accident caused by a broken bolt or workpiece.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The screw tightening failure detection method of the present invention is intended to achieve the above-described object, and the means thereof is a first torque close to a preset target torque value with a torque detection level from the torque sensor at the time of bolt tightening. A detection level and a second torque detection level close to zero torque are provided, and when the target torque value is reached, a zero speed command (stall function) is given to the motor of a tightening tool such as a nut runner. When the torque value detected after a certain time is between the first and second detection levels, it is determined that the bolt is simply loosened, and when it is below the first detection level, the bolt or It is determined that a crack has occurred in the workpiece .
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the above-described embodiment, the method of changing the rotation speed as the bolt tightening method has been described. However, it is needless to say that the method can be applied to a constant angle rotation method or a yield point detection method. In other words, when the tightening torque reaches the target value, it is possible to determine whether or not the abnormal tightening is the same as in the above-described embodiment by monitoring the torque value after a certain time in the state of zero speed. it can.
[0023]
In the above-described embodiment, only one Tz as the torque detection level is used as a criterion for determining whether or not there is a tightening abnormality. The torque detection level is a first torque detection level close to the target value. When Tz and a first torque detection level Tz ′ close to zero torque are provided and the detection level detected after a certain time from the speed zero is between the first and second, it is determined that the bolt is simply loosened. In addition, when it is below the second detection level, it may be determined that a crack has occurred in the

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention monitors the torque value after a certain period of time in a zero speed state when the tightening torque reaches the target value, and the torque value is smaller than a preset torque detection level. Since an abnormality determination output indicating that a screw has been loosened is sent out, it is possible to prevent an accident from occurring due to the loosening of the bolt.
[0025]
Further, two torque detection levels, a first torque detection level close to the target torque and a second torque detection level close to zero torque, are provided, and the detected torque value becomes the first and second torque detection levels. In some cases, it is determined that the bolt is loose, and if it is less than the second torque detection level, it is determined that the bolt or workpiece has cracked. This has the effect of being able to determine whether the tightening method is bad.
