BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pipe joint.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a pipe joint composed of a plug (male member) and a socket (female member) is used at a connection point of a tube for fluid transfer or a hose tube. This pipe joint has a locking mechanism such as a latch for preventing the plug and socket from being disconnected.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In a conventional pipe joint, when connecting a plug and a socket, a latch which is a locking mechanism is slid to lock the plug and the socket. However, there is a possibility that the latch is slid by an impact and the lock is released, and the connection between the plug and the socket is not surely performed.
[0004]
Further, in the conventional pipe joint, when the lock mechanism is released and the connection state between the plug and the socket is released, it is necessary to further separate the plug and the socket from the connection position. This is because long plugs are attached to the plug and socket, so the plug and socket remain in the same position even if the plug and socket are unlocked. This is because the plug and the socket may be locked again. In order to separate the plug and the socket from the connection position, it is necessary to pull the plug and the socket with a long tube or the like, and a considerable force is required.
[0005]
As a pipe joint that solves the conventional problems, there has been proposed a pipe joint that includes a spring for separating the plug and the socket when the lock mechanism is unlocked. However, with this spring, the number of parts (springs) increases and the part cost increases.
[0006]
Furthermore, in the conventional pipe joint, the operation part which cancels | releases the lock state of a lock mechanism was made into one place. If something collides with one operation location, there is a problem that an unexpected accident occurs in which the lock is released.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of conventional drawbacks, and an object of the present invention is to provide a pipe joint in which the fixability of a plug, a socket, and a connecting portion is enhanced.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a pipe joint that can prevent a plug and a socket from being disconnected due to an unexpected situation.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a pipe joint in which a plug and a socket can be separated from each other when releasing a locked state without increasing the number of parts.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a pipe joint that is attached to a plug, a socket, and the socket, and has a latch that releases the connection between the plug and the socket, and the outer surface of the plug faces the rear side from the leading end side into the socket. A distal end side outer wall portion, a projection portion having a diameter larger than that of the distal end side outer wall portion, a fitting groove having a diameter smaller than that of the projection portion, and a flange portion having a diameter larger than that of the projection portion. A pair of arms and an operating means connected to the pair of arms, One end of each arm portion is a free end, a claw portion projecting inwardly is formed at the free end, and in the socket, an engagement surface that engages with the claw portion formed on the arm portion is formed, The left and right inclined side surfaces that extend from the engagement surface are formed such that the interval between the left and right inclined side surfaces decreases as the distance from the engagement surface decreases, and the claw portion is positioned at a position close to the engagement surface. In the state where it is in contact with the side surface, the inclined side surface gives an external force that opens the pair of arms to each other, With the latch attached to the socket, The claw portion and the engagement surface are engaged The distance between the pair of arms is set to be smaller than the diameter of the protrusion, and the distance between the pair of arms is set to be larger than the diameter of the protrusion by pushing the operating means, and the plug is placed on the socket side. When inserting, the projections spread the pair of arms and pass through the pair of arms, and the pair of arms are moved between the projection and the flange in the axial direction of the plug. It is characterized in that it is held so as not to move beyond, and then the operation means of the latch is pushed in the axial direction of the socket so that the projection can pass through the gap between the pair of arms. .
[0009]
In the present invention, both ends of the pair of arm portions are respectively connected to the operating means, and when the latch is attached to the socket, the pair of arm portions sandwich the guide portion formed on the socket, and the guide portions of the pair of arm portions When the distance is smaller than the diameter of the protrusion and the socket and the plug are removed, the pair of operating means are pushed in a direction approaching each other.
[0010]
The present invention is also provided with push means for pushing the hook portion in a direction away from the socket, the push means being connected to the latch with the operation means, and pushing the operation means in the axial direction of the socket. When the projection becomes large enough to pass through the gap between the arms, the push-out means pushes the flange so that the projection passes between the pair of arms and the plug is opposite to the socket. It is made to move to.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the pipe joint of the present invention, the plug is attached to the socket by expanding the arm portion of the latch with the plug. When the plug is attached to the socket, the arm that has been spread out will return to the position before it was unfolded, so the plug will not leave the socket unless you manually push the arm of the latch apart. Therefore, the plug can be firmly fixed to the socket.
By using two means for releasing the connection, the probability of malfunction caused by a collision of something with the operating means can be significantly reduced as compared with that of one operating means.
When the connection between the plug and the socket is released, the arm portion of the latch is widened, and at the same time, the plug is pushed away from the socket by the pushing means of the latch. Thus, the connection between the plug and the socket can be removed, and the plug can be easily separated from the socket. Compared with the conventional one having a spring, the pushing means is constituted by a part of the latch, so that the number of parts is not increased.
